Now that it is out, I need to know if Langrisser 1+2 lets you use Urushihara artwork with modern UI or if they force you to use old art with old UI and new art with new UI?
I'm curious about this as well, so I checked out the shared screenshots on Steam Community. I'm not sure whether this is the old UI, or the new UI. I only played Langrisser I (Warsong) on Sega Genesis very briefly so I can't really tell.
Basically I'm lookin' to see if we can have new battle sprites/UI (and the maps! )like thisI'm curious about this as well, so I checked out the shared screenshots on Steam Community. Ah, OK. I got ya. Going through the screenshots it seems like there's no indication that you can, actually. Everyone is using the new portraits.
I’m pretty certain I will be let down, I basically want Langrisser saturn, portraits, sprites and phosphor. Those screenshots on hg101 always made me hype.

I don’t like talking about other places, and I hope I don’t do it often. That being said something recently broke inside me and I began to really use the ignore function. And man, I’m beginning to wonder if I will still have a forum to read if things continue like this.
We will see but that certainly played a part in me buying a 2060 this month.

Don't worry... you'll still have plenty of posts to read. My purple ignore list has close to 700 accounts... and I've noticed an inverse correlation between that number and my blood pressure. At first I was very hesitant to ignore people... but now I ignore anyone who shows an inability for rational discourse (I don't care if they hold a different opinion than me, as long as it's intellectually sound)... nowadays egregious displays of fanboyism and histrionics are often enough for me to ignore them.
Yeah, I was generally talking about social media in general. I'm inside a PS group and have a few Sony fanboys on FB, it was glorious. I haven't read much of that thread in Era, but the place is usually calm even in meltdown situations because people generally don't want to be seen as a rabid fanboy.

Durante Just tried the ToCSIII Demo, game looks nice and works decently on my aging hardware.
Two things I'd love to have in the full release:
a) Alt-F4 doesn't seem to do anything at the moment, meaning the only way you can quit the game is through going to the menu, back to title, than selecting exit. I don't think you have access to the menu at all times, so would be nice to have an option to quit available at all times.
b) Any chance of implementing a 'play user defined sound on achivement unlock' option in the launcher? I usually just inject Special K to do so, but it doesn't seem to be compatible with this game - renderer corruption going on and doesn't seem to allow the game to go fullscreen.
And one more thing - the launcher has two option for screen modes - fullscreen and windowed. Is the fullscreen one exclusive or borderless?

But the combat is fun because at its core, Horizon is an action game first then RPG later.. So many tools at your disposal and so many ways to tackle the various enemies on the map. The robots are well-designed and each of them is very unique. You can't just steamroll everything in Horizon because the robots are deadly. Preparation is key, and stealth is well-rewarded.Yeesh

The alt-F4 thing is known, hopefully not too hard to fix. You can also use super-f4 in the meantime, which is a useful tool in general.

Well, in this case I would say it's a matter of "If" and not "When"
I'm still not 100% sure that all games will follow the Metro Exodus path of offering both options for players on third party stores, but yes, if it's confirmed, it should be after the release, just like Metro Exodus (IIRC that one was3 or 4 days after steam release)
I think I had the same issue when trying to install Gears 5. I couldn't get it to install with the Xbox App but initiating it from the MS Store worked for some odd reason.
Wow I didn't even knew I needed this tool. It just happens way too often that a exclusive fullscreen game would lock up my PC and then me having to navigate task manager on the tiny ALT-Tab preview window trying to kill the process.
Steam forums have been really useful for me for many, many games. I still prefer these forums over Discord because it's much easier to find information.
I'm still a bit angry at Supergiant because they were the first ones to accept Epic's money hats on pc, and talking nonsense about it instead of admitting they got loads of money for this. On the other hand, Hades doing very well on Steam must give a signal to other developers that Steam is where the pc community is. Perhaps something good will come out of this.

The value of game pass is incredible, but it's packed around an absolute terrible shitty app and a terrible download system (Windows Store).
Also, I don't like renting games. I want to play games at my own pace.
I currently have a very limited amount of game time, which makes it so much harder to make any headway with any games.
Lately, I've mostly been plodding around in my +50 hour Factorio save, but I'm reaching the point where I need to take a break, since it's starting to feel a bit aimless.
I still have several games bought in the Xmas sale that I haven't even tried, and the Humble Australia bundle is still untouched. Bought The Division 2 as well when it was cheap, but I'm aiming to finish The Division 1 first before starting the sequel.
I would also like to try out some more Kenshi, but that is also a giant timesink like Factorio.
And now I am eyeing Car Mechanic Simulator 2018....
I need more hours on the day!!!

Tried Ori 2 on gamepass - yeah, its need even more patches lol. Sloppy localization and framerate drops/stutters. Also being fully 3d now game looks way more blurrier than previous Ori in 1080p resolution (of course there are no SSAA or DSR support either).

Borderlands 3 releasing on Steam with a 50% discount (that's 30$ for base version and 50 for deluxe)? yeah, it's going to totally to break records, isn't it? it's already the number 1 in top global sellers list and it doesn't seem to change anytime soon. I'm not interested in the game right now but damn, it's tempting.
Also, we got C&C collection on Steam, that's really nice, but, WHERE'S MY TITANFALL 2 ON STEAM, EA?!?!?!?!

Yeah, Borderlands managed to beat out the Index and climb to #1 on the top seller's chart like 30 minutes after preorders went live. Which is crazy considering 1 index unit = 34 Borderlands 3 copies with that discount.
With Blands 3, Ori, Alyx, Animal Crossing, Doom Eternal, Bannerlords and RE3 releasing in a short period of time in-between them, maybe a shutdown of my country due to the virus wouldn't be the worst idea.

Kinda sucks Nioh 2 isn't launching on steam. The first game sold well enough on Steam looking at the # of user reviews. Its easily the most popular KT game on the platform. You'd think they use some of that money to jump start the pc port faster this time. Kind of sucks to support devs just for them to not change their ways for sequels
Then again I'm not really in the mood to drop 60$ on it right now anyway
But when it does come to steam later this year it will still be nearly full priced because it will include dlc. Oh well I enjoyed the first despite it getting repetitive and this one is reviewing well + it has character creator this time around. So can't wait to eventually play it. Still a bunch of other souls like games I need to play in the meantime.
Then again I'm not really in the mood to drop 60$ on it right now anyway
