Any performance issues with the Steam version?
No issues at all. Runs perfectly at 100 FPS at 3440x1440.
I mean, the initial loading time when you start the game is a bit long, but that's a complaint on a very nitpicky level, especially since there's 0 loading after that.

Thank you. And yes, that would be quite nitpicky, I don't care much about loadings as long as it's not constant :).

I need to get myself a gamepad again.

Hey new Super Mega Baseball game in April. Day one! Who's with me!?
Who? Anyone? No? Ok.

SMB surprised many who weren't expecting much.

SMB2 was leaps and bounds better than the original.

Pumped to see what happens with SMB3.

(Drink if you thought about that plumber dude while reading this post.)

Fuck I want to play Ori real bad seeing after some video. That is a seriously good looking game.

But Trails from Zero is calling and then CS3 is hot on it's heels.

What do?!?!?!

If I want to use the upcoming translation of Trails of Zero by Geofront. What is needed? The full game I assume, but where do I get it?

DL Site is the best place to buy a legal copy. Geofront should be putting out a guide on how to purchase and install the game as well as adding their own edit to it.

I'm surprised that despite the ridiculous pricing here Ori managed to get the top spot on the local top sellers list.

One one hand I'm pretty happy for Moon Studios on the other hand I'm still pissed off that it's soo expensive. I mean I can get Game Pass for 10% of the price.

I used this guide back in december. I don't think you can pay with PayPal so a credit card is needed.

There are guides on Reddit to how to buy Zero legally.

The Geofront team has said they will publish a guide of what do once you have that.

Someone needs to tweet Phil about dem regional prices before corona takes all the markets down. He might even do something about it.

Goddamn Ori 2 is beautiful.
It's some next level stuff. And so amazingly consistent. Everything about it is beautiful.
The art, the animations, the backgrounds, the characters, the skills, the subtle lighting effects, the menus, even the pause screen.

Edit: and when I think I'm used to just how pretty everything is the game throws some new skill at me that somehow tops it.

I'm not complaining btw. Just didn't expect ToCS to have PCSS.
Ultrawide support, fast FPS support, options to tweak visuals way above consoles.
Sounds like a good port to me! (y)

PCSS has been implemented since Cold Steel II, so it's just par the course for us Trails fans. I expect it's going to be better looking on CS III though. Also Durante , I tested the CS III demo in a multi-GPU system (2x 1080Ti). The scaling is already pretty decent (70-75%) with AFR and Dishonoured 2 SLI compatibility bits (using Maximum preset). Good job on that one! :dana_peace:

One thing to note is that the original Zero No Kiseki does not include voice acting. If you want to mod the game with voice acting, you'll need to source the voice asset files from a copy of Zero No Kiseki Evolution.

Ori 2 seems so great. The graphics looked beautiful during the introduction. It worries me that I am not feeling any happiness when playing it. I should probably try to improve my suboptimal working conditions as an overworked medical resident ...

Man all I wanna play in VR lately is H3VR. The new capture & hold mode is so tight and the AI is spectacular, like top tier GOAT territory. They flank, they charge when appropriate, intelligently use cover, but can lose you realistically too.

Love using me some Snake-style CQC as well. Just terrible with bolt action and I don't want anything to do with it!

All lectures in my university has been cancelled this week due to the virus.

I'm not in school anymore, but my school has closed for the semester! - (classes will be online only)

Anyone else running the Steam beta client and find that the collections view has become incredibly slow/framey to scroll through? It's also eating up like 30-40% of my CPU when I start scrolling through the list.

Edit: restarting the client seems to have improved performance.

Huh I somehow hadn't come across that. Is it actually roomscale only? Because maybe that's why, I have a small apartment and can only do standing / sitting VR

I think I actually managed to softlock myself in Ori.

Here's a video.

(Maybe I'm also just dumb, but it really seems like I need an ability I don't have to get out of there)

H3VR started (years ago) basically roomscale only but it is very much not now. You can definitely do standing / sitting with some of the control scenes perfectly well. If it interests you, pick it up!

Dumb question can you attack any of those walls? That one to your right looks maybe destructible?

No. I assume there is an ability like that later in the game, but I don't have it yet. (I can destroy walls like that when they aren't in water)

Regarding my Ori issue, someone on Steam just told me the solution. Turns out, it was really just me being dumb.

You can redirect the projectile from the enemy into the wall. I just assumed the move doing that didn't work under water, since basically none of the other abilities work.

Damn useless Steam forums!

I just started playing Ori (via Gamepass) and it is really endearing and fun! Probably will buy it on Steam... but first: sleep. :D
edit: also beautiful, yep.

I died in Ori and the game teleported me to a secret room that I couldn't get out of. Thankfully, the game has a backup save feature where it lets you pick from your last 5-10 quicksaves.

Out of Early Access, and it seems they lowered the regional price on several countries:

If you purchased this during the early access period, they are supposed to give the "Emotional Sense" song pack for free, though it appears they have been having issues with getting the DLC pages set-up, so just a heads-up prior to making any purchases. Also the bundles are set-up as an all or nothing bundle (as opposed to a complete your package), but if you have the base game you can go to the individual DLC pages and view bundles which exclude the base game in the pricing.

Not only did I fall down the custom keyboard hole, but now I'm looking into vacuum tube headphone amps! Now that it feels possible that I might some day have a proper desk and a proper pc again I'm dream of how cool and nice I want it to be!
