Congratulations!I have a similar non-gaming but anime story
Today I finally got the Evangelion Platinum collection for a not bloody ridiculous price
Yeah, it was so silly, and unexpected.
I had given up on it, really.
I wasn't actively looking for it any more, the person I traded with got in touch with me, since he replied to a post I made several years ago, asking if I was still looking for a key.
With these things, I'm always fearful of scams, but he even sent me the gift link from humble, to redeem it and generate a Steam key, before I sent him anything.
Now I am as well, since the humble link I got also has a DRM-free download.
You see what I get from supporting developers, and buying directly from them?
Telltale didn't provide Steam keys for direct purchases in the early days.

And Minecraft S2 Episode 5. Which I guess, is kind of achievement considering Steam only sells E1-5 pack normally. (This version also comes without mac support and English only)

I managed to get both.
It helps that I like both TV shows, and I'm always "fearful" about licensed properties, especially after what happened with Wallace and Gromit.

But honestly, the PS2 had way too many amazing and unique JRPGs. Suikoden 3 and 5, Ar Tonelico 2, just awesome stuff.
Im playing Farcry 5. I was talking to this guy and a wolverine appears out of the blue and jumps on the dude and mauls him to death. I feel bad for distracting him.

I'm not sure how he got the info, but Ninja supposedly heard that CS: GO will have a major overhaul for the summer (Source 2, etc). He told the information to Shroud and Shroud mentioned it during a recent stream.
Yeah I get you. I'm also the same. I didn't actually mind buying it and playing it on PC as it was on release. But since I had already played half of it on the 3DS. I wasn't really tempted to double dip on a 1:1 3DS port. Otherwise I would've happily played it! But I'm surely glad they improved the PC port that much. I really enjoyed what I played of it, so now I'm looking forward to restarting it on Steam one of those days.
And who needs actual developers' marketing when you can just follow the definitive PC gaming source on the internet...

I'll be honest, if you take away all the SMT stuff, the only ones I'd call amazing are the aforementioned Shadow Hearts games and FFXII.
Atlus truly delivered though, Nocturne in particular is an absolute masterpiece and then you have the DDS duology, Persona 3&4 and the Raidou games.
I really liked the first Ar Tonelico but couldn't get into AT2 for some reason.
That's too hard. With the exception of the Raidou duology (which is still great but not quite on par with the rest) all these games are among my favorite ever.
If you could only play one I guess Nocturne would have to be it, it's an absolute masterpiece, very few games can touch it.
Damn, played a bit more of TOCS3 and I actually got emotional when I entered

Yeah, it was very satisfying. Especially since I too had made my peace about it, and hadn't made any further attempts to find a copy since a year or so ago.

As someone replaying the PS2 library right now, I can only give my voice to Shadow Hearts.
It aged well (emulated that is, cause it's pretty slow otherwise), while oddly enough feeling even older than it is: it's the closest to a PS1 game in spirit with its prerendered backgrounds and weird (but good!) gameplay options that were not yet standardized and factory made.
Combat is really solid, the world and characters are fascinating, plus... a game starting in 1913 Manchuria in the middle of occult kerfuffle? Good luck finding a more unique setting!
On the other hand, i think most of the PS2 library aged terribly. Sure, the PS1 and earlier has issues (poor performance, glacial pacing, etc... FFIX is still my favorite FF but damn does the combat blows), but the PS2 is the beginning of the modern era... filler galore, cinematics everywhere because now it's cheap to make (and cheap to look at - not everyone has SE's budget and it ends up looking pretty bad in general), dodgy-ass full 3D visuals that are not hybrid anymore (think of Breath of Fire IV, amazing 2D, awful 3D reserved for big moments... that end up looking like poo today)...
But the big issue is the level design.
Virtually all games suffered. Now you either have corridors, or "open" worlds made of little zones. FFX and FFXII are very symptomatic.
And both designs suck: almost gone are the puzzles, now you have never ending straight lines or copy/paste areas, just last until the end of the zone/dungeon sucker! It feels like a throwback to the 8 bit era at times.
SMT is by far the worst offender, all of the games are now an absolute nightmare to slog through. Looking at Persona 5, that hasn't changed much actually, the entire franchise is better played with cheats out the wazoo...

The entire Suikoden series deserves much more love than it gets. 1 &2 are the poster children, but 5 is actually just as good and frequently better.
Suikoden V, a fine PS2 JRPG, deserves a revival. That game is great and underappreciated.
And every game in the series deserves to be on PC. Even 4 and Tactics which are the worst games in there.

Weird question, but for those who had Humble monthly subscriptions, especially yearly ones, no matter the year: can you please check your library, and see if you can have entries for the Humble Monthly bundles of September (2019, 2018, 2017, ...)?
None of mine show up!

I'm not particularly interested either, but it's always nice when a developer adds content, modes or options, for those who do care about it.
And, like you said, at least it's free, and there won't be micro-transactions tie to it either.

Ughh why did they have to put multiplayer achievements in Doom Eternal?
So, I feel that I've missed something. Why would the leaking of the source code of a game lead to people stopping or avoiding playing it? Fear of hackers and exploits?
I love the Suikoden series (only played 1 and 5 though)!
I've never finished any of them, but played the beginning of 5 at least 3 times.
The game is really awesome, but it's paced a bit weird. I mean the intro/prologue is about 8 hours and you can barely speed that up due to all the cinematics and conversations.
So that's 8 hours before things really start happening and the adventure takes off!
Yeah, Suikoden V intro is a bit too long with lots of hand-holding. But it's all worth it after that, it's a great Suikoden game in the end.
Also, you should play the best one of all, Suikoden II.
