The only reason some people feared something could go awry was due to someone/some group spreading false information regarding a specific exploit. So, I feel that I've missed something. Why would the leaking of the source code of a game lead to people stopping or avoiding playing it? Fear of hackers and exploits?
So they didn't forget their password then and out of all the Valve Twitter accounts this one is still not verified
The art is from https://twitter.com/koyoriinI wish my collection was as nice as that. Also where do you get the Kaine art?
Works fine here. Just tested it.

Happy Birthday!Just reached 25 yo.
That portrait of Kainé is amazing.NieR is officially 10 years old today
I really can't agree with this. I don't think any SMT game would even enter my top 5 on PS2. I've ranted about Persona 3 and 4 (and 5) enough already, but even SMT3 is vastly overrated in my opinion.I'll be honest, if you take away all the SMT stuff, the only ones I'd call amazing are the aforementioned Shadow Hearts games and FFXII.
Atlus truly delivered though, Nocturne in particular is an absolute masterpiece and then you have the DDS duology, Persona 3&4 and the Raidou games.
I really liked the first Ar Tonelico but couldn't get into AT2 for some reason.
Absolutely! The one thing holding back V is its very slow start, but other than that it's easily one of my favourite Suikodens (together with 2).The entire Suikoden series deserves much more love than it gets. 1 &2 are the poster children, but 5 is actually just as good and frequently better.
Suikoden V, a fine PS2 JRPG, deserves a revival. That game is great and underappreciated.
And every game in the series deserves to be on PC. Even 4 and Tactics which are the worst games in there.
Honestly, given the current state of Konami, don't wait.I don't care much for most of the PS2 oldies but Suikoden really comes up a lot and if it ever came to PC, I'd love to give it a shot.
There will be a campaign mode added in May.I started playing
recently and I quite like it. No clue about the metagame yet so it's the best phase for me. Once I figure out what's what card games always lose their luster for me.
That is a problem for me too. I prefer being able to play the game blind and not loose good endings to some bullshit, especially like that. Is it really bad for the Suikoden series?Hmm, I should play the Suîkoden series, only played 1 at the time.
But I still have a bone to pick with it. It seems it is one of those guide seller rpg with tons of secrets and alternate endings.
I finished 1, and it wasn’t bad at all, one character died and this death I think added to the gravita. Then years later I learn that if I had collected the 108 (?) stars from my ass, the character wouldn’t have died.
Forgetting the fact that the ending may or may not be as good, I conclude that I should look for every MF in every game. So logically, that means a walkthrough. And I don’t want to follow a walkthrough for a jrpg these days.
Maybe if there are character unlock guide only...
Haha.Steam :: Steam News :: Top Releases of March 2020

Normally we'd be pushing those "games developed in N countries" numbers for Valve, but not actually since we launched in the same month as OriThe Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III
Nihon Falcom, Engine Software & PH3
(Japan, Netherlands & Austria)
Well, I just took a peek at gamefaqs, and the good news is that there seem to be multiple character recruitment guides. The even better news is that one of them looks to be sane enough to sort the list not by the character star number but fucking chronologically. That is a problem for me too. I prefer being able to play the game blind and not loose good endings to some bullshit, especially like that. Is it really bad for the Suikoden series?
IIRC it's not nearly as bad as e.g. Trails in the Sky, since the amount of permanent missables is comparatively very low. As in, for Suikoden 2, there are 1-page (mostly) spoiler-free guides that tell you when to pay attention. That is a problem for me too. Happy Birthday, man!Just reached 25 yo.
Happy birthday m8!Just reached 25 yo.

Has anyone played Billion Road?
How is it?
thanks
The relocalisation mod is called Beacause, but the entire collection is named The Reunion.Hmm, what was the name of the FF7 steam retranslation mod ?
I think I read yesterday that WD Legion is now a next gen debut title. Now the 2020 question is, when is next gen ?UPlay+ is half price in Norway, Still not worth it until Watch Dogs and the next AC is out.

I can't wait for PC2. Finally!I think I read yesterday that WD Legion is now a next gen debut title. Now the 2020 question is, when is next gen ?
Long overdue.I can't wait for PC2. Finally!
You know, there used to be an open-source project whose primary function is to automate all that excruciating exercises you just did.Now excuse me while I cry for some minutes.
Well, you seem to judge the games mainly based on the battle system, that's not the case for me.I really can't agree with this. I don't think any SMT game would even enter my top 5 on PS2. I've ranted about Persona 3 and 4 (and 5) enough already, but even SMT3 is vastly overrated in my opinion.
Part of its claim to fame is its combat system, but that is actually dominated by 2 aspects: knowing enemy weaknesses (which is a pretty degenerate game loop when you have too much repetition in encounters and such a massive impact from it) and a rather severe dependence on luck of the draw.
Compare that to something like Dragon Quarter, which has one of the very best tactical combat systems ever in a JRPG -- based on situational awareness creating huge variety in combat scenarios and opportunities for player expression through strategy -- and combines it with smart design disincentivising grind.
Absolutely! The one thing holding back V is its very slow start, but other than that it's easily one of my favourite Suikodens (together with 2).
Honestly, given the current state of Konami, don't wait.
Everyone even remotely interested in JRPGs should at least play Suikoden 2. It's one of the all-time greats. Just fire it up in RetroArch.
Route A to EWithout spoiling anything, how many "routes" do you need to finish to get the real ending of Nier: Automata?
For what it's worth, I just finished Route A and the story made absolutely zero sense so am kinda wondering how long it takes to get some sort of closure or explanation.
Not really, I mean my favourite game of all time is Planescape: TormentWell, you seem to judge the games mainly based on the battle system, that's not the case for me.
