Personal Log - Day 2
Looks like I'm alone here. Am I the only surviving TV watcher on earth ? Would be ironic, as I watch a couple of things per year, but... wait, I think I heard a noise outside. Some strange bumps on the windows, I could only barely hear something like 'Strrrwrrsssssss' and 'Mavllllll'. Media Consumption sure look different these days. And creepy.

Yesterday I watched a surprising amount of stuff, for someone who doesn't watch TV or Movies anymore.
I continued...
...Harley Quinn s1 with s01e06 You're a Damn Good Cop, Jim Gordon
Great, pretty great show overall. They course corrected the over reliance on gore of ep 1 and found the right amount I think. Rare, but funny. Maybe still not a must see, but if you are looking for a fun 'mature' (translation 'immature') spandex cartoon, it's a very solid proposition.
...my Twilight Zone s1 rewatch with The Purple Testament (GREAT) and Elegy (Good premise, dogshit conclusion that drags the whole thing far away into BAD territory).
Then on a whim watched 'What we do in the shadows' (Movie)
Very unfunny, unpleasant to watch with family (mum: 'oh well, your tastes are still shit'). Grows on you, has heart. Still mostly unfun. With cringe. Then you continue to think about it in bed. And realize you liked the movie as a whole. Cast is good. Endearing. IDK what to think anymore.
And 'What we do in the shadow' (TV) first episode
Interesting to see what they could do with a budget consisting of more than the 10 bucks of the movie. It looks like a TV Show at least.
More traditional humor, more safe too, you can bet on the virgins being spared somehow. It has potential with the long form of a TV Show. Cast isn't bad, but I think I preferred the movie in this aspect.
Finally closed the night with Doctor Who 2005 s01e01, 'Rose'
Not that great of a pilot, it has evidently aged, the enemy is more than a little ridiculous, and the last few scenes are almost unbearable to watch, in a let's make the shots 3 times the length they should be, oh and let's go back to more or less the same ones multiple times. I swear they could have shaved off 10 minutes of runtime with a sane direction.
Sneak Peek of e02 looks depressing but shock full of Sci-Fi stuff, excited.
As you may have guessed, I tend to generally be a harsh critic
