I watched that PSVR without Parole dude's video about The Walking Dead Saints and Sinners. The dude seemed to be very happy about the game. I'm guessing that he has played a lot of PSVR games over the last 4 years. And mentioned how this was among one of the ones that has left the strongest impression on him and he had only played it for less than 2 hours at that point.

I do find it unusual that the game was just released out of the blue. Is it possible that they choose to release it out of the blue as part of Sony's VR announcement? On that date they also announced the release date of a few other PSVR titles. I'm curious if the dev/publisher will do stuff to promote the game. The review trailer that they had for it was interesting because all of the reviews that they were showing from the PS trailer seemed to have been from the PC version (if you check metacritic you will not see any reviews for the PSVR version and they even mention PC gamers review) but strangely enough they do not say that those are reviews for the PC version. But from what the dude was saying the PSVR version did not seem that different from the PC version.

He did bring up an interesting topic though about how you get something as good looking at Saints and Sinners running on PSVR and how others devs likely could do the same if they really wanted to. And potentially that might be the case? But wouldn't stuff like CPU usage be the issue for some games like H3, I think Anyone said one of the reasons the game would not be on PSVR for PS4 was because of the CPU.
Skydance Interactive (devs of Saints & Sinners) had an ama yesterday (or during the night) that they wanted to get the game out asap for PSVR players, which is why the game's launch became pretty much a shadowdrop.

The big thing in regards to Saints & Sinners (haven't personally bought it yet on Steam, waiting for a sale), is that it is pretty much PSVRs first proper ufll lenght VR game and it's the first PSVR game with physics and interactivity. Still far from Alyx and Boneworks phyiscs and interactivity, but it's the furthest for PSVR players.

Nothing can really beat PCVR quality, but for PSVR players, Saints & Sinners is a big step for VR games.

I'm trying to finish some games during this weird phase 2 / not really quarantine that's going on here in Italy.

These past weeks I've only manged to complete Tower Defense games or Hidden Objects, so I wanted to try something completely different for once:

I haven't finihsed it yet, but I'm really liking it. This style of anime art is something I can get behind.

Bloodlines 2 looked great :awwblob:

The Medium is marked as Adult Only on Steam, uh.
I don't think I've seen that before.

The Ascent and Call of the Sea looks interesting.

Hmm "Turok left for dead" looked like it is in a very early stage of development.

So Yakuza launching on PC when the new XBOX launches? I was hoping for it to be available a little sooner.

Second Extinction also looks good to me, although I gotta know more.

Not sure if this Assassin's Creed really is a significant jump visually from what we've already gotten... Ubisoft cuts their trailers so confusingly...

So, how high are the chances of AC:Valhalla running at 60fps on series x? Zero, or below zero?

AC:Valhalla gameplay reveal was the worst shit I've ever seen. Was there actually ANY gameplay in it?

I think the console is capable if running with Xbox One X visuals and dynamic res, but I don´t think Ubisoft wants to have a performance mode.

Unbelievable.

Last year, I made a comment on twitter expressing my disappointment about Rebellion releasing Zombie Army 4 exclusively on the EGS, especially after their CEO gave an interview saying he didn't believe in exclusivity.
I wasn't insulting or anything, it was a regular comment, without vulgar language of any kind.

As a result, I was blocked from following all of their accounts.
After I posted saying that it was disappointing, as someone who owns all of their PC games, that they did this to me, as a result of a perfectly normal comment, when I didn't insult anyone or anything, I got the following message:

And, that's that.
I was able to check the Zombie Army account, and the Rebellion account as well, so everything was fine.

With the recent news about Evil Genius 2, I checked their Evil Genius twitter account, and noticed I was blocked. I checked another of Rebellion's twitter accounts, and I was also blocked. I was able to see the Zombie Army, and Rebellion accounts, but not any others. Accounts I never interacted with.

So, I assumed this was regarding what happened last year. They probably added me to a "block list" or something, and when they removed my block for the Rebellion and Zombie Army, they probably forgot the other ones.
So, I sent them a message, explaining the situation, and asking them to take a look at it.
Since many accounts don't check their direct messages, and since the Rebellion account posted earlier about the Evil Genius franchise, I posted a message saying I was unable to view the Evil Genius account, and asking them to please take a look at it.

As a reply, I received this:

I try again, but I'm blocked from the same accounts as before.
So, I reply with screenshots showing I was blocked from following those accounts, and asking them to take a look at it.

Do you know what they did?
They... blocked me. From following all accounts. Rebellion, Zombie Army, and all others I already was.

Unbelievable.
I ask them to take a look at why I was blocked from following accounts I never interacted with, and their solution was to block me altogether, so I can't reach or reply to them.

on an unrelated note who was the Japanese game composer that made this one song that was very famous (it might have been during the PS1 era?) that later turned out to be something that he just copied from some one else?

Scarlet Nexus looks like God Eater + Astral Chain
Will there be co-op though and will there be a PC release?

How are Unreal Engine Japanese games going to be like next gen? Will they not be very different then current gen? With the only difference being higher texture assets and higher fps and resolution? So people like Bandai will still try to release stuff on N/S? Or will things be rather bad for N/S next gen?

Real mature of them. The old saying "Can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen." really applies here. I know I won't buy anymore of their garbage, no matter what store they release on.

Do you mean Mamoru Samuragoch? He composed Resident Evil Directors Cut and Onimusha Warlords but it was found out he had a ghostwriter the entire time. Including this iconic track

There wasn't even any heat at all.
I really don't understand these PR guys.

I know, when they announced their EGS exclusivity, they probably had a lot of "heat" that day, and insulting comments thrown their way.
I wasn't one of then.
That's why, they did unblock me.

And now, I contact them because the blocks I had were surely an error resulting of that last block (since I never interacted with those accounts), and they go and do this?
Really swell.

I repeat what I said on my tweet last year: I'm a usual "client" of their games, and own all of their PC releases available on Steam, except a VR title.
Their idea of good PR, and customer support is to pull this crap, as a result of something so benign?

Chrous seems cool, The Medium definitely because Akira Yamaoka, good to see.
But the rest...
Are people really getting excited over AssCreed's cinematic trailer which are labelled as ""gameplay""? It's blatant false marketing.

I won't blame them too much because of epidemic. I understand they probably couldn't show as much as they hoped.
