Last year, I made a comment on twitter expressing my disappointment about Rebellion releasing Zombie Army 4 exclusively on the EGS, especially after their CEO gave an interview saying he didn't believe in exclusivity.
I wasn't insulting or anything, it was a regular comment, without vulgar language of any kind.

As a result, I was blocked from following all of their accounts.
After I posted saying that it was disappointing, as someone who owns all of their PC games, that they did this to me, as a result of a perfectly normal comment, when I didn't insult anyone or anything, I got the following message:


And, that's that.
I was able to check the Zombie Army account, and the Rebellion account as well, so everything was fine.

With the recent news about Evil Genius 2, I checked their Evil Genius twitter account, and noticed I was blocked. I checked another of Rebellion's twitter accounts, and I was also blocked. I was able to see the Zombie Army, and Rebellion accounts, but not any others. Accounts I never interacted with.

So, I assumed this was regarding what happened last year. They probably added me to a "block list" or something, and when they removed my block for the Rebellion and Zombie Army, they probably forgot the other ones.
So, I sent them a message, explaining the situation, and asking them to take a look at it.
Since many accounts don't check their direct messages, and since the Rebellion account posted earlier about the Evil Genius franchise, I posted a message saying I was unable to view the Evil Genius account, and asking them to please take a look at it.

As a reply, I received this:



I try again, but I'm blocked from the same accounts as before.
So, I reply with screenshots showing I was blocked from following those accounts, and asking them to take a look at it.






Do you know what they did?
They... blocked me. From following all accounts. Rebellion, Zombie Army, and all others I already was.

Unbelievable.
I ask them to take a look at why I was blocked from following accounts I never interacted with, and their solution was to block me altogether, so I can't reach or reply to them.

it's a feature of Twitter or something like that.


So even if you have never interacted with someone, it would seem like you might be blocked by other similar people that are associated with how ever blocked you?

Lots of good games releasing on Steam this year, dare I say, most of the good games this year, I´m realived that I don´t have to worry with what Epic snatchs and I can safe ignore then.

I dont think i like the new XCOM Chimera :crying-face:

Tried it last night and dont really like the comic book type story presentation (bit close to anime) and im not sure if i can get used to the taking turns with the enemy mechanics.

Hopefully it is more "polished" and feels more "tight" with the controls because some of the issues that I had with Code Vein were the controls/movement. Which in the case of Code Vein I was willing to let slide sort of because Souls games are not always very fast passed like say a Hack and Slash game. With those types of games you want more movement freedom and that your attacks are deliberate.

Going back to the N/S thing how that play out, There was a Nintendo report that came out that said that the system has sold very well and all of this other stuff. But at the same time it is not really getting third party support from big name Japanese companies and while stuff like Project Diva is releasing on N/S you don't have stuff like Yakuza. I am mentioning this because when I was looking at the RGG twitter page that is something that I saw some one mention. Also looking at the ports that have been released on N/S, sure they can function on the system but they are not always ideal. Or does that not matter to some/devs would rather spend their resources on making more games because while that N/S version may sell it will not sell nearly as many copies as say the PS4 version will. At least in Japan that seems to have been the case with games that release on PS4 and N/S where the PS4 version sells more copies.

I believe the block on the other pages, the ones I requested them to fix, were indeed the result of something like that happening.
But, these new blocks surely weren't. Earlier today, I had access to the Rebellion and Zombie Sniper accounts (and as you might see, they replied to me on the main account).
And then, they blocked me on those as well.

I have never been blocked before by any accounts, so this isn't related to any other accounts or happenings, besides my interaction with Rebellion, a year ago, where I criticized their EGS exclusivity.
