Does anyone have experience with the 8bitdo M30 controller? I was looking into it to play beat 'em ups
I personally don't have a M30, but I did have the SNES ones and 8Bit-do products are hit or miss. Sometimes they're great and sometimes you get a faulty product.

Just looked at that Storm Boy and first time I see a game where it says that it wont count as a +1 nor will the achievements count. It says there in "Profile Features Limited", Whats the reasoning behind that?
Probably just hasn't sold enough copies on Steam for the algorithm to decide its a real game. The limit was put in place to stop devs putting out dozens of games and then giving away keys for card revenue or just farming the cards themselves.

As for console games, Rune Factory 4 Special, Daemon X Machina, and Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town performed positively with good sales. In the overseas market, Rune Factory 4 Special, Daemon X Machina for PC, and Granblue Fantasy Versus were also well received.
Yay, Daemon x Machina selling well on PC it's amazing news. Playtracker's Insight says the game has around 54k estimated players, which is a great number for this niche genre :triggerblob::triggerblob::triggerblob::cat-heart-blob:

My previous keyboard started to malfunction over a month ago (the 1 key stopped working), bought a new keyboard from a similar model (only very few stores still had it for sale, an old membrane keyboard that isn't made anymore, but I went with it since it was cheap-ish and I was used to its layout), and now that new keyboard suddenly started having ghosting issues in multiple 2-key combinations (for example, holding W and pressing X afterwards, the X isn't detected, so much for "anti-ghosting"). ._.

I really don't want to deal with a warranty process with the whole pandemic going on, so I'm thinking of going all out and buying a mechanical keyboard. I'm thinking of going with a Cooler Master MK850 (with Cherry MX Red switches), since its layout is similar to what I'm used (including a column of macro keys on the left, which I've been using in my current keyboard for a few shortcuts, it also has an analog keys gimmick in 8 keys, but I'm probably just gonna turn that off).
Plus it's currently discounted here, going for 140€, while its normal price is 200€.

Steam loyalty system + steam rewards is getting shape slowly but steady, no joke, the amount of data sure points to a non so far away release.

Wonder if they’ll drop it on the same day as the summer sale
Probably not, they will make sure it doesn't interfere with user experience in one of the two most important sales of the year for them, they already have problems to keep the store up the first few hours with normal conditions, I wouldn't want to know how difficult would be with a completely new system that touches so many places of their ecosystem.

Can't wait to get $5 off a purchase once a year, only on your birthday, only if your level is high enough, only off a select range of titles...
... and only if you get enough laughs, or enough "poetry" or "hilarious" reactions. :p

It makes sense. After rewarding people buying games during the sales, while indirectly "punishing" those who buy games at full price all year, now they are turning things into popularity contests, so that streamers, and "influencers", and those with a lot of Steam friends can farm reactions for rewards. How cool!

Usually, stores reward people that buy outside of sales (plenty stores I use, that have a points system, suspend rewards during special sales).
Valve, as usual, has to do things differently.

I have 702 games on my wishlist, so I assume I will buy a ton, but Im aiming mostly at Darksiders Genesis and Saints & Sinners. Perhaps Metro Exodus expansion pass.

As someone who loathes heat, this summer is looking pretty scary to me :(.

When I read W40K dogfights, my heart skipped a beat and my imagination went aflutter with the sheer scale of things in that universe. A space sim in it? Yes please. Unfortunately, it's... pretty simplistic, and an RTS. :(

Put me in the "I hate summer" camp. I used to love it (after all, my Birthday is in August), but lately it's just relentlessly hot, super humid and with extremely aggressive mosquitoes.
Italy had such nice mosquitoes when I was young: they only appeared after dark, they were small, their bites didn't leave apple-sized marks and, best of all, they could be scared away with simple tools. I miss them.

well duh , its warhammer , they rarely do more than adaptation of various tabletops ... and if you look at the name itself , the "aero" part says its not spacesim straigh away
Imo this one looks like solid videogame adaptation of its tabletop , i would say better this way than the direct digital tabletop :p

Changed up my Steam collection/shelves a bit, these are ranked from top shelf to bottom shelf, all the games in these shelfes are installed:

- Games I wanna finish
Top shelf, consist of "one and done" games I have installed
- Diverse
Consist of games that doesn't really fit in the other categories and are a mix of F2p, GAAS and in general games that doesn't end, like Halo MCC, Deep Rock Galactic, CS GO, MH World,
- Strategy
Games like AoE2 DE, Hearts of Iron 4, Civ V, Stellaris, XCOM etc.
- Roguelikes
Games like Isaac, Dead Cells, Hades, Dungeon of the Endless etc.
- Sandbox
A bit of a mix, but usually games you can do mostly what you want the way you want. Forest, Bannerlord, Stardew Valley, Subnautica etc.
- Management/Building
Games like Cities Skylines, Factorio, Parkitect, Oxygen not Included etc. Satisfactory will be here
- VR - Play
VR games I have installed or games that can also be played in non-VR, but I play them in VR like Thumper and Elite Dangerous

Other than that I have 3 collections that aren't as shelf:

- VR (VR games, dynamic collection so all VR supported games get automatically added

- Games I need to remember to play ( not installed one and done games that I want to remember to play, mostly hand picked, but I use Steam Labs "Play Next" experiment to add to it at times. This collection has helped a ton with my backlog as I don't need to look after games in my library, I just drag them to my "Games I wanna finish" shelf from this collection)

- Uncategorized (the rest of my library that is not installed and not in the collection above)

Think this is the best way for me.

I don't have non-Steam games in my library as I use GOG Galaxy 2 for them. I only open GOG Galaxy when there is a game I want to boot up, Steam is open all the time.

Rise is more fun than I expected. I like it much more than the first (new) Tomb Raider.
Probably because it feels less ridiculous wit this Lara being experienced and she doesn't get fatally wounded (but not really) every five steps.
I don't actually remember any of the "tombs" in the previous one, but the ones in here are pretty cool.
