At this point, I feel if you don't want your game devalued you just don't release on EGS. It's definitely gained a reputation as a place for dealhunters with its coupons, price slashing and free games every week.
I feel like Epic have created an undesireable situation here, and that's on them. But CDPR should know how these things work (EGS has been around long enough now), and I feel decreasing the price of the game by 1 cent to make customers pay $9.99 more for the game is a dick move on their part too.
