I'm lost to Eorzea again. Such a beautiful world and filled with so many fun people. Just getting around to the Stormblood stuff, having finished off where I left off around Heavensward Patch 3.3 days.welcome back
I don't DRG anymore, but learned to Ninja instead. It's really fun but has the highest clicks per minute of any class in the game lol. And when I'm not DPS'ing I like to heal as White Mage. I haven't decided on a Tank class yet, but probably Dark Knight.

But real life fucking sucks actually. The Bar is still closed, and I lost my day job as a butcher too. (The meat shortage is making them cut (pun intended) positions, and since I'm one of the youngest/newest they let me go first.)
So I have no work atm. Cue FFXIV basically becoming my life inside my life.

Glad people are getting what they wanted. Sadly these games, and japanese games in general, do nothing for me so it's a hard pass.

Yeah, I wonder about the framerate. Nothing's impossible, but the work it would take is probably not worth it for Sega. Unless of course Atlus of all companies have actually always been smart about that stuff and it's just a matter of flipping a switch.

There's a 60 FPS patch which is 99% perfect. the patch only changes a very small amount of code overall, so that does indicate that the vast majority of P5 is designed to not just run at 30 FPS.
People who downplay P4G as ‘lul enjoy your 14 year old game’ are missing the point. It is not about the ports, it is about the change in Atlus finally embracing PC and the future ahead.
I hope for any Persona but 4 tbh. (Even though basically that's the one 100% confirmed.) I feel like once the mystery is spoiled it has so little going for it. And I hate the random dungeons. I do. Of all the changes P5 brought, hand-crafted dungeons were EASILY the best imo .

Regardless, personally I feel like that only matters to people who use exclusives as some sort of "score" anyway. In terms of preserving and making the game available, P4G would be by far the best choice. Since currently, the only way to play it is on a platform that (let's be honest) no one bought, and that isn't well emulated either.
I know it sounds hypocritical but FROM games are generaly different. You can say they also have busywork mechanics and design phylosofy, they are from Japan after all, but they seem a lot more western consious than their other fellow countrymen.

I have no work as well. I am sitting in HK and waiting for my visa getting renewed as well as Japan opening its border again. These few months are going to be rough. At least we are still alive in these difficult times and able to see all these ports happening. Dark days will eventually end, and I hope you stay well and healthy and continue enjoying games!
I hope Persona gets mods. Wouldn't mind higher quality models ripped from the dance games for example.

What's your "Comfy" slippers game? One you always return to because you know it well and enjoy the gameplay. For me it's something like Half Life 2 with cheats on so i can dick about and enjoy myself while my subconcious mulls things over.
Something stupidly mindless with bars and numbers that go up and up and up. Again so it satisfies and distracts you with bright sparkly lights and makes you giggle while your subconcious quietly seethes and plots revenge on the game that wronged you. Mmmmm, Saints' Row 3 or 4.

Thanks guys. I have some money saved up for a situation just like this, but it becomes a problem depending on how long this lasts. Gotta be smart with my money for now. Just gonna chill and see what opportunities pop-up, America is a big place with lots of work chances for those willing.

While i don't disagree about the dungeons, i very much so disagree about the story. Obviously it's true that knowing the mistery takes something away, but you still have amazing characters and plenty of great and well written moments, like those with Nanako.
