Speaking of Death Stranding, let's say is this week's winner for the top seller list, although I don't understand why two places hehe.

Far Cry 5 was historical lowest on Steam, SoT and MCC still strong as hell, Satisfactory is selling at a very regular pace (LittleDinamit insight says it's already on 590k estimated players on Steam)

Neon Abyss enters the list in 10th position and HZD goes out of the top 10 after 2 weeks in a row at 6th and 7th place, will return the same release week and probably stay at number 1 for some time if Death Stranding is any potential indicator, in fact, LittleDinamit and I have been talking about DS and well, we made a projection of how many copies will sell this first week or so, let's say the trend is very very similar to P4G 👀👀👀

Anyway, as Always, here you have last week's top seller for comparison.
Top seller list is by package, so preorder would be seperate from release.

Edit: beaten twice :D

Thinking of buying Atelier Firis, since I found a decent deal for it (play-asia has it for ~17€, and while I haven't bought from them yet, they seem to be one of the non-shady resellers).
I know that I already have a ton of games I'm currently playing, but I really wanna play an Atelier game :blobweary:
Just FYI, PlayAsia seems to be a big GG supporters (at least judging from some tweets from their company account).

Is this an issue with my monitor or the game itself?
I can not recall seeing something similar. Which doesn't mean much.
Maybe a problem with full vs limited dynamic range?
You have to make sure to select whatever your display able to use.

I only recall where to find the setting in the Nvidia Control Panel, but AMD has it too.

(This has nothing to do with HDR btw)

Already? That is sending a strong message.
Isn't the EGS version at roughly over 900k, after a year.

Hello, what fantomena said, around 958k that might be a bit more right now (although I doubt, tbh) and yeah, game is totally going to make those 300k left in no time.

Getting cheap KT games without selling your soul must be one of the hardest things on the internet...
Sigh.
I mostly use Direct2Drive for KT games, they have an exp system similar to the new GMG system (ranging from 2~5% to 10~20% discounts depending on the tier and the game) and so far they've had multiple KT sales in the past (including one that ended last week I think).

Yes, I've noticed that I have a tendency to get an Atelier mood right after a decent sale ends, then wait until the next sale, which ends up being bad and I lose interest, only to regain it right after a decent sale ends, repeat :grimacing-face:

Been playing some more Eastshade.

This game feels like a post-RPG game. It's like taking the core idea of an RPG, and removing some pretty big core mechanics, like combat and health. What's left is a focus on exploration, quest-based story progression, and Eastshade introduces the novel mechanic of painting things. You need "inspiration" for that, which is sort of like EXP and Skillpoints rolled into one: you get new inspiration for finishing quests, reading books, exploring new parts of the world, and generally doing strange things, and it's exhausted by painting. Generally, you have some early quests where people want you to paint stuff for them, but later on it gets more imaginative, but you can still earn money by taking on commissions by various patreons and producing specific paintings for quite a bit of money.

It's such a nice, slow paced experience, and really damned beautiful. Love the music too, though it's used fairly subtly (and effectively when it actually kicks in)

The only bad thing about this game is the abysmal performance. My machine should be running this game at over 100 FPS all the time, Instead it barely scratches 30 FPS in some areas, and that's even with literally every option turned to low. Sure, Unity is bad, but I don't remember if I have ever seen a game that seems so constant in its bad performance. I have no idea what the devs are doing, I imagine it's some nightmare where they are not using any sort of Level of Detail and constantly "rendering" thousands of pointless objects.

Firis good. Don't forget to grab the Cheat Engine table for the run speed multiplier and Atelier Graphics Tweak mod.

you just want a Nippon home Simulator, also the admit it thing is a reference to Nier A

Also I think this is maybe the second type of game like this. By which I mean I think that there was another developer also from Japan that made a game about like in Japan but I don't think it got a lot of attention, initially that one was only available in Japanese, the dev was a game dev that was making that game on the side. Im not sure if that one was ever translated to English but in that one it's more about train stations in Japan in rural places.

But both cases involve a dev doing these projects on the side. The rain one does seem to be doing better over all and Humble Bundle games is even involved I think.

"Steam reviews are useless" in a nutshell (even if post is joke)

Now where is 3-6
Exactly. What do they want me to do? Play the games out of order??? What is this the Trails series????
Well, Like a Dragon is sort of a reboot/fresh start for the series and has little to no connection (AFAIK) with previous Yakuza games so it's not that weird that they are treating this like a new series while 3-6 releases at a later date, maybe even judgement too.

We will have to wait, unfortunately but don't be surprised if they come to PC and Xbox at the same time. :cat-heart-blob:

It's come to the point where I pretty much only go after steam reviews. I've completely stopped looking at other reviews. Though last sale I did watch different reviews for games I was interested in to get a feel for the game.

Reviews with proof of purchase is always better than anonymous reviews or free copy reviews though.
But aren't reviews for copies bought in steam the only ones that count towards the score on the steam page?

True.

I believe they are comparing Steam reviews and Metacritic user reviews, While there are free copy reviews on Steam as well, they're only given to prominent users, influencers, or beta testers, which is only a fraction of total reviews we regularly see on Steam pages.

Yakuza Like a Dragon is pretty heavily connected to previous games and spoils parts of previous titles pretty flat out. SEGA really should port 3-6 because people are gonna spoil those titles if they skip from 2 to 7.

Yeah.

I was comparing Steam user reviews versus Metacritic user reviews. For me Steam reviews are more believable than even critic reviews because reviewer need to buy the game and they can show the game's current condition, especially useful if it's a live service game.

You cheated not only the game, but yourself.

You didn't grow.
You didn't improve.
You took a shortcut and gained nothing.

You experienced a hollow victory.
Nothing was risked and nothing was gained.

It's sad that you don't know the difference.

Nah Sekiro bosses are pretty hard from minute 1 :steam_cleanseal:
I sorta disagree, i think once you managed to fully grasp Sekiros combat it is easier than the average souls game because the attacks are all even more obvious to tell.

So wondering what is a decent/better screenshot tool? I have steam take PNG copies but it doesn't use those to upload. The PNG ones are okay as well.
