Rand Al Thor hints at GOD OF WAR on PC.

2 06 42

Revealed in August.
If the Dragon Reborn, the breaker of the world and the most powerful channeler ever to exist says so...

(I'm kidding about the name. I have no idea who this YouTuber is our his reputation).

If any y'all like puzzle games, do check this game out. Not much in terms of graphic options but I'm stumped in a few rooms just 10 minutes in XP

You have heard of Jez Corden, right ? Well he and Rand are Xbox insiders.

He is not 100% reliable and likes to stir up shit from time to time but perhaps he actually knows.

So both Bloodborne and God of War PC announcement are rumored in august.

A State of Play is also rumored for August.

Hmm...

Im not getting my hope up, but those on PC would be nice and august is next month too, so not too long to go.

I don't think we should expect PC announcements in State of Play. They are specifically for PlayStation console games. If they announce PS5 versions of anything then a PC announcement may be a by-product of that, but I expect a PS.Blog announcement like Horizon: Zero Dawn for any of their PC ports.

I played GoW and certainly enjoyed it but it’s yet another game where I don’t personally understand why it got so much fervour 🤷‍♂️
Level design and exploration. Once you reach the "discover islands with a boot" phase the game became interesting.

True, that. I wasn't really impressed by it, and wouldn't double dip if it ever comes to PC, unlike Horizon.

It actually became a slog for me. It takes too long to reach anywhere from the main hub.

The world switching and teleporting are also a slog. Too many repetitiveness just for the sake of "no loading screen".

I don't mind the game not having a teleportation system. I prefer that, but with handcrafted levels that morph in significant ways and encourage you to come back over the normal open bore world where I can reach any place any time, but everything feels the same over the entire course of the game.

Not everything is enjoyable to everybody though and you prefer different things in games. Complex(er) levels that needs time to traverse through appeal to me. I'm not even kidding. Maybe because I spend a lot of time traversing mmo worlds.

I swear to god that I don't know how you can heart anything like that, I mean, I have good ears and yet I can't distinguish shit there :blobweary:
Funny thing is that I can hear very clear and yet for some reason I can't through phones and sometimes videos, is like if my brain wanted just real direct audio.

Horizon is 40 euros on CDKeys by the way. Didn't bite, but it's not bad, even tempting, but it will have to wait for August.

At most, press releases if anything.

Speaking of sony games, I'm still playing Death Stranding and I have already completed half of the story missions (there are 70 in total and I'm at deliver 38 or so) and so far I must say I'm liking this game A LOT :partyblob:

It does not help that he is speaking very fast sometimes does not articulate very well. It took me a few tries to truly make out what he is saying.
Honestly I don't put too much stock into his claims.

Time will tell I suppose.

I had to use YT's subtitles and that didn't help cause' the system didn't understand what he said :grimacing-face:
About his claims, might be Death Stranding, might be the summer or might be that I'm thinking on a lot of things right now but, can you believe that at this very moment I don't care that much?

Don't get me wrong, GOW would be one of those I would buy but, like, I don't care right now cause' I have already a planning of games to beat and I don't think I could/would play it until next year or so, and, I know you will probably kill me but, Bloodborne would suffer the same destiny, day 1 purchase but playthrough not until next year or so :blobweary::blobweary::blobweary:

I hate burning myself playing, if my body needs just one game, then I will give it that, no more. Too many games, not unlimited money and no time at all :confounded-face:

I also like traversing and exploring the world in games, but only if the world is interesting enough. I found everything in God of War (besides the peak and certain someone's hut area, perhaps) is pretty dull. The game felt very restricted as everything is a corridor with (invisible) walls everywhere. Encounter design is pretty boring as well, you know you'll fight a bunch of enemies when you saw an opening up front. On top of everything, Kratos moves sooo slowly.

Bless Steam input. I have had problems adding controller support to Snes9x all morning, wanted to play Super Metroid and Link to the Past with cheats despite having the game on both 3DS and Switch.

Little did I know I only needed to add the emulator to Steam and controller worked like a charm.

Do you own Payday2 and don't own Vermintide 2? Well, there's a new bundle that lets you get Vermintide 2 for a bargain.

I checked the game and it was in a bundle before so some of you might already own it. Nevertheless I think it's a good deal if you are into more of Vermintide.

I'm roleplaying Marie Kondo :sweaty-blob:
My mother in law eats Marie Kondo for breakfast. One of her favorite weekly pastimes is rolling around multiple Persian rugs that weigh tons and scrubbing the bejesus out of them before rearranging and putting them back in place like it's nothing :face-with-cold-sweat::face-with-cold-sweat::face-with-cold-sweat:

Having tried it to an extent with my family I have an opinion on this.

Not the first to say this but, I am fully convinced that this whole thing is an elaborate scam to make people eventually rebuy their possessions at this point.

I'm so glad you posted this, I've been wanting to buy Vermintide 2 and forgot to grab it during the Summer sale.

I actually don't mind peak Kojima when it's not weighed down by its own canon. MGS got shit from 4 onwards because of the games before it.

Death Stranding is a clean break and it's really good.

My 3DS card got fucked up somehow and all is lost.

Good thing the vast majorty of my games are physical (for once), but shit sucks regardless. Think Im just gonna download a 3DS emulator and run the few digital games I had left by roms.

I'm sure good word of mouth is helping Death Stranding a lot and it being a competent port with some flashy new tech to toy around with certainly helps too.

The PS4 release was quiet an up and down of emotions for some. But most impressions from PC players are positive. I expected more diverse opinions tbh.

I wonder why they thought changing from already working api to epic api instead would be a great investment. Was it epic money that made them make the change?

Couldn't they just have epic players connect to Steam api instead? How many more will buy the game on epic anyway? It's an old game, most people who wanted to play the game has already played it and left.

I bet they really needed money to fund their next game which was going to be most probably KF3. That's the only reason I can think of for such change. So, in the end it might lead to be an Epic exclusive.
Also, the game was free on Epic recently so they should have got some player base there I assume.
