SMTIII being PS4/Switch just makes a PC port more likely. Maybe we’ll get an announcement of one closer to the western release date
Hm. I typed this word for word in a discord server im in. Didn’t know you were in there too 👀

Jesus Christ, I haven't even played the first Ryza, it's on my wishlist but I don't think I'll manage to start it before the end of the year.

with the power of yuzu every switch release is also a pc release 😎
Sure, and it's true that I played Nocturne in HD years ago on PCSX2, but having an official release in my steam library is 100x better.

I will probably play SMT3 on switch rather than waiting for the PC port. Playing JRPG on handheld is nice, especially when it is a turn-based one.

Keep in mind that we still don't have a confirmation for the western release aside of Switch, not even PS4 has been announced yet and we are getting the game here next year's Spring and not October like Japan, so yeah, give it time to get confirmed. :cat-heart-blob:

Yeah, I'm expecting Nocturne to end up on PC. Probably not day 1, but also not years later.
With Persona 4 they've opened the flood gates, I'm expecting most everything now, but necessarily immediately - the gates are open, but it will take some time for the water to flow down the river and fill the Steam pool.

Can't wait for the reaction to him from 2021 gamers 🤣

There's going to be at least 3 dozen Reviews calling it "The Dark Souls of Pokemon"
Some are going to give it a bad review over the difficulty
There's going to be at least 10 threads on a certain forum asking for an easy mode

Merciful Mode: Matador lets you pass
Merciful Mode: Mot can't use Beast Eye
Merciful Mode: White Rider waits for you at a door instead of randomly attacking you
Alright lol, nvm what i just wrote

Hey.
Maybe I'm remembering wrong, but I think Koei Tecmo has fixed their regional prices, at least here in Argentina.
Now they're what they should be.

Oh right, I was somehow aware of the reputation of this one being hard.
I assume Persona is not then?
Not at all

Persona games are very easy if you know what you are doing, when i played through P5R on hard, i only died twice total, both at the final boss first phase.

Shin Megami Tensei tho, when i said game journalists will call it the Dark Souls of Pokemon, i am not joking. Prepare to die, a lot.
They aren't ULTRA HARD REAL GAMERS ONLY exercises in frustration (but neither is dark souls) but the games are very tough and occasionally even plain meanspirited.

You just stroll into a new area with no light def, an angel appears and one shots you with a hama spell before its even your turn levels of meanspirited.

There's definitely a level of "walk into a boss fight expecting to die" especially in the early parts of the game because you need to actually go into the fight and learn the boss's strengths/weaknesses, then go back and adapt your party to the fight. If you're rocking demons that the boss can take advantage of with press turn, just expect to immediately get washed and have to go back to rearrange your party.

The game doesn't really expect more than this level of understanding from it's players on it's standard difficulty, but I can see this definitely turning away some peop[e who go into RPGs expecting to win every fight, or forcing them to go with the merciful difficulty (which im glad exists, but is still pretty hilarious).

for which games? most of their old stuff already had proper regional pricing for the most part
