Should be, yeah. I think the regular version of the event is always available. IIRC it can be found under "special assignments". May have to talk to someone with a blue exclamation mark over their head for it to become available. Don't recall if there's a level/rank gate. You can get a sweet Moogle skin for your cat doing it.
And then there's an "extreme" version that becomes available for a limited time now and then, which you should never commit any time to unless you hate yourself very deeply.
And on another topic, can anyone help me decypher the fuck of ESO upgrades ?

I liked the story of the base game
Nothing mind-blowing, granted, but I was adequately entertained.
The one with the newest expansion (Greymoor) should cover everything. At least that's how it works on Steam.
It took me about 80-100 hours to finish the story while really taking my time and exploring the locales, and it's an experience I heartily recommend if you can get the game for about 18bucks as I did.
This sure looks like a good movement for Private Division, 3 great studios with good portfolios, Roll7 is the most exciting one for me personally

Man, Humble Monthly/Choice has poisoned my brain, I think. It's priced in such a way that if there's only one or two games I actually want then it's kinda not worth it. So when there's a great bundle like Fanatical's current Platinum BOYB), I hesitate because I'm worried about ruining the next Choice lol (especially so close to the reveal). Like, after being in the chrono coin shop and this, Iconoclasts seems like a pretty likely candidate.
It's kinda making me realize how Choice is really terrible value. More than half the line-up of any given month is shit I simply don't care about and the rest is usually pretty hit-and-miss. So buying even just one or two games that end up in the next bundle is basically ruining it, makes it go from good to not worth it. I'm quite alright with the current Choice, there's usually a good amount of games I'm interested in in each one. Though it has been some time since it had some "must have" games, admittedly. But it still has been worth it most months for me.

Yeah but it's pretty obvious they're counting on you forgetting and letting it renew. I kinda wish there was a "remind me a few days before the cutoff" box you could tick somewhere because I'm pausing so often lately that I feel it's just a matter of time until it slips my mind and I end up paying for a bundle I don't want lol. The Humble Store discount also encourages you to hold off until the last minute to pause.
For me it's wildly hit and miss. It can be cool to get some of those more obscure games I'd never hear about otherwise but, personally, these days I simply don't play enough games to realistically think I'll ever get around to trying too many of them.

Unless I'm playing something like a Souls game or Sekiro where the difficulty is the point, I am all for using easy modes to save time. If I'm here mostly for the story anyhow, lets just get the gameplay out of the way.

i always play on hard modes, it's not worth playing to me if it doesn't challenge me to git gud

You want to buy Greymoor Collector's Edition. This will include Greymoor CE and CE versions of all previous chapters.
Alternatively, you can buy normal version of Greymoor, which will include it and all previous chapters in normal versions, but I feel like the price difference is too small and it's better to get the CE.
Do not buy any upgrade, that won't include the previous chapters.
