And on another topic, can anyone help me decypher the fuck of ESO upgrades ?
I'm installing it to maybe try it for the first time and redeem two codes, so I look at the shop and there is only the Greymoor DLC available. Looks like The first 3 big xpacs are included in the standard version at 70 euros (lol).

So my question : there are 3 fucking versions of this xpac on cdkeys, how can I know if any includes these former xpacs ?

I swear to you, subs, crown shop, different upgrade paths, I'm lost.

The one with the newest expansion (Greymoor) should cover everything. At least that's how it works on Steam.

Nice get for PI. Im still curious if they will go EGS exclusive for some, but I don't think so due to Epic starting publushing games themselves meaning that PI might view Epic as their competitor.

Man, Humble Monthly/Choice has poisoned my brain, I think. It's priced in such a way that if there's only one or two games I actually want then it's kinda not worth it. So when there's a great bundle like Fanatical's current Platinum BOYB), I hesitate because I'm worried about ruining the next Choice lol (especially so close to the reveal). Like, after being in the chrono coin shop and this, Iconoclasts seems like a pretty likely candidate.

It's kinda making me realize how Choice is really terrible value. More than half the line-up of any given month is shit I simply don't care about and the rest is usually pretty hit-and-miss. So buying even just one or two games that end up in the next bundle is basically ruining it, makes it go from good to not worth it. They knew what they were doing with that Classic tier that you can't cancel lol. It's tempting to wait until August 7 until the next reveal but with no idea how long that other bundle will last, I really should just give my money to Fanatical and say screw Humble...

Not sure this is good news. Private Division is a bit too eager to accept moneyhats. I'm curious why Moon Studios stopped working with MS.

I'm quite alright with the current Choice, there's usually a good amount of games I'm interested in in each one. Though it has been some time since it had some "must have" games, admittedly. But it still has been worth it most months for me.

The date seems to be the day the Stadia release launches (read at the end):

Yeah but it's pretty obvious they're counting on you forgetting and letting it renew. I kinda wish there was a "remind me a few days before the cutoff" box you could tick somewhere because I'm pausing so often lately that I feel it's just a matter of time until it slips my mind and I end up paying for a bundle I don't want lol. The Humble Store discount also encourages you to hold off until the last minute to pause.

For me it's wildly hit and miss. It can be cool to get some of those more obscure games I'd never hear about otherwise but, personally, these days I simply don't play enough games to realistically think I'll ever get around to trying too many of them.

Hell yeah easy difficulty.
Unless I'm playing something like a Souls game or Sekiro where the difficulty is the point, I am all for using easy modes to save time. If I'm here mostly for the story anyhow, lets just get the gameplay out of the way.

I've set up a google calendar reminder, you can make a "every last friday of a month" appointment and set the reminder a day before it.
I'll know tomorrow if it works, lol.

You want to buy Greymoor Collector's Edition. This will include Greymoor CE and CE versions of all previous chapters.

Alternatively, you can buy normal version of Greymoor, which will include it and all previous chapters in normal versions, but I feel like the price difference is too small and it's better to get the CE.

Do not buy any upgrade, that won't include the previous chapters.

Always interesting to see how everybody is different and plays for different reasons. To me, if a game doesn't feel worth the extra time to read all the lore / git gud / soak in the atmosphere / explore everything /... what am i doing playing this game? there is better stuff out there, next one please
