I never want to tell people to take Tim's money but if you already have EGS installed, might as well get Hitman and all 3 of the HBS Shadowrun games for free coming up soon.
Those HBS Shadowrun games are actually amazing games and should be played by everyone. If you need to pick which one to start, I recommend Dragonfall, but all 3 are good.

The video game news bullshit of the day to me is Bungie removing substantial portions of Destiny 2. That's shit. Just allow the player to play older parts of the game in some non-updated way.
I absolutely won't be buying a Destiny 3 after this next level of shittery, or whatever they make next if it follows this online model.
I should probably drop games as a service as a whole as much as I can, but unfortunately some degree of this is ubiquitous at this point.
Games as a service is fine if games are to be relegated to some throwaway experience that doesn't matter and once you're done with it, you never want to touch it again because it was so bad that you actually didn't enjoy yourself. I kind of think that's where most gamers are these days, and that's damn sad.

Because tribalism. Remember how Sony implemented paid online? They 'made fun' of MS in a silly 15 second video. That's all it took for people to throw their wallets at them.
You just have to appear to be doing something good. People won't give it a second thought.
Valve has sometimes tried to pull some dumb shit and the people react accordingly. Remember paid mods? Pages of discussion about how we're selfish because we don't want modders to get paid or something. A lot of people are a bunch of dumbasses that can't think outside the box.

Crysis Remaster isn't based on Crysis 2007, it's based on Crysis 2011 (console version).
If you want play all levels, or warhead campaign, playing original is still a must and is now even more unplayable.

welp today was the first week of classes and I think I may have messed up already. Classes take up something like 18 weeks. Anyway I still signed up for a CS class. One of the issues is that I think I need to participate in Zoom like stuff.... and the class takes place when I worked. I was hoping for VODs but that's what I get for getting my hopes up. Also the book for this class requires an online key and it seems like it's $100+USD and it's only good for one semester..... F me.

Be accurate, please. If you mention paid online and people throwing wallets at someone, you should mention the one that started this trend. Microsoft unveiled Live which basically was 'pay to play online', there was no added bonus. It was just friends lists and voice chat. That didn't stop people buying their suscriptions for years.
I don't want to extend my post but it's a bit childish to think that people suscribed to Ps+ because of a 15 second video making fun of MS.

I'm the opposite, I rather have one game I can play for a long time rather than many short ones.
But I do wish for indies to get paid more. The production side of games needs to be made faster and easier.
