Nice video on the concept of 1-ups in video games and how Crash 4 handles them among other games

As it was more or less expected, Chrono is going away soon:

There's a series of short, 10 minute games from different developers available on Steam.
They are supposed to be 10, but 4 are yet to launch on Steam.

You can find them here:

Here's the bundle with the currently available games (the others will be added soon):

And, if anyone is interested in them, the full 10 game bundle is on sale at itch.io for $10 (all with Steam keys, even the games that are yet to launch there):

Getting rid of the coin shop killed my interest in the store. They rarely had worthwhile deals. I hope Nexus fares better.

There's a Halloween sale bundle of games on itch.io by developer/publisher Puppet Combo.
Besides including a game that is only available as part of this bundle (which is going away in about 3 days), one of the games, The Horror of Salazar House, launched today on Steam, and a Steam key for it is part of the bundle:

Phasmophobia has been killing it on steam for weeks now wtf.

Outside of RE games I don't think any horror title has sniffed the success of this game in recent years.

This better not release around Cyberpunk.

Pls EA don't do it.

Also Legendary Edition is a great name :coffee-blob:

Nice deal on Creaks (and DLC) at Humble, especially for Choice subscribers (with the additional discount):

Can anyone recommend a programm to see how big programs, files, etc. are on my computer? The Windows one is next to useless because everything is just 2,something MB big

Wiztree is great and fast with MFT scanning support unlike most software. (I think TreeSize is the only other)

Hmm.. how do I view hidden games on my library? I selected View->Hidden games, but nothing shows up. It tells me how many games are in this category

"click the category box at the right side of the search box in your game library and then select “Hidden.” To unhide a hidden game, right-click it here and then select “Remove From Hidden "

the answer is yes. next question

(seriously, I dig these videos and will watch this in a few, but... yes, of course they are, I don't mind if games leave them in as an option, but I find them to be a cheap and artificial way of increasing difficulty)

I was wondering if my Ryzen 5 1600 needs to be updated, but I'm not finding games that don't perform well at 1080.
Out of curiosity I was looking again at the Cyberpunk 2077 reccomended specs, and I still don't believe their accurate:

Recommended requirements:

OS:
64-bit Windows 10. DirectX 12 is necessary to run the game.
Processor: Intel Core i7-4790 or AMD Ryzen 3 3200G
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6 GB or AMD Radeon R9 Fury

I'm not an expert, but I think the Ryzen 3 3200G is "lower" than the 5 1600, right?
How's that possible?

I was excited for this, but the fairly low reviews from the Switch version got me thinking. :thinking-face:
I would still play it due to its theme and setting which is something we rarely get in gaming
How you you know?
I chat with some.peeps who know some peeps
But generally just assume a 1 year delay for a game to release on pc
