• what all to remove, is unnecessary or might have a better deal later on
• what NOT to remove, is essential or worth getting.

I agree with fspm , I mean why are you buying games/ collecting dlc just because it is cheap if you are on a budget ?
At most if I were you, I will only just buy the games that support your country dev.

I will not be buying anything this Sale, I realized that with my backlog and the games that I am currently playing there is no point buying games if I am not going to be playing it soon, might save the money for future game purchase or in game purchase for the current games I am playing

Question: is there an easy way to find out which games on your wishlist are sold ONLY on steam (as in, no 3rd party key site sells them too?)

I managed to get something close enough with isthereanydeal-filters.
It's not strictly "only sold on Steam", but rather "only on sale on Steam". Which in this time of winter sales everywhere is almost the same, so good enough.
Note: I have EGS globally disabled in my settings, so it's not factored into the filter at all, you'd have to do that too or manually add its exclusion to the filter.

One is 10€ more expensive than the other.

Jokes aside, Extinction appears to be newer and more polished and was developed for PC/console, while the other one was on mobile first and ported to PC .

Edit: also technically Nexomon came out a year ago already, it only exited Early Access this year.

I guess that PC gaming and VR are pretty expensive in Japan. Part of the Famitsu interviews one of the dudes form NIS said that they wanted to get a gaming PC and VR to play Half Life Alyx but it turned out to be more expensive than he thought and that for next year he hopes that he is able to.

Fallout 76 is not bad with the updates currently, plus there is some mods you can download from nexus and the community is very friendly
Cons: Sometimes I encounter server issue , then u need to restart the game.
Just take note that you might have to sub for fallout first to use the Scrapbox to store your junk if you find out your are running out of stash space

This is where I'm at. I did make a cart of about £115, but I'm gonna put that £115 towards clearing my credit card faster than I'd planned. It's not like I'm short of things to play, anyway. Basically, if I looked at the game and didn't think that I was gonna play it within the next 3-4 weeks, I've deleted it from my cart. That meant I had an empty cart!

Nexomon: Extinction is a sequel to Nexomon set years after the first game, and as Ascheroth pointed out, Extinction was developed for PC and consoles while the first one was built with mobile and in-app purchases in mind, and then ported to PC

I'm digging Nexomon. It's pretty much Pokemon, except it only costs a 10th of it.
Graphics are charming and so far I'm really digging the designs. Here's the starter selection:

I went with Fethra. Already caught a Vulazy in the wild too.
Looking forward to seeing how things evolve.

Notable differences so far (or maybe newer Pokemon games already do that, I dunno):

• No random encounters: there's grass but it shakes visibly if there's a -mon hidden, so you can essentially avoid everything or fight if you want.
• No skill forgetting: there's a limit of 4 skills at a time, but you can equip/unequip every learned one at any time in the menu.

I'm digging Nexomon. It's pretty much Pokemon, except it only costs a 10th of it.
Graphics are charming and so far I'm really digging the designs. Here's the starter selection:

I went with Fethra. Already caught a Vulazy in the wild too.
Looking forward to seeing how things evolve.

Notable differences so far (or maybe newer Pokemon games already do that, I dunno):

• No random encounters: there's grass but it shakes visibly if there's a -mon hidden, so you can essentially avoid everything or fight if you want.
• No skill forgetting: there's a limit of 4 skills at a time, but you can equip/unequip every learned one at any time in the menu.

Nexomon, especially Extinction, is actually a very competent Pokéclone. It's never more than that unlike Digimon, but it is a serviceable Pokéclone none the less.
I need to actually play it fully one of those days

I have been all set saving aside my pennies for a PC upgrade, but tbh I feel like I am going to at least hold off on upgrading (and it is getting rather long in the tooth now fwiw), cos I can't reconcile in my head anymore that I can buy both a PS5 and XSX and still have change left over in comparison to the cost of a top to bottom refresh of my PC.
Plus I've a 4K TV and I don't have a 4K monitor.

Thing that's giving me pause is that almost all my games are on Steam though
Between this and me saying before about wanting to play less games I think I'm just getting older?

The new Gunner Zero 2 seems to have a problem related to one of its files as Windows Defender flags it as malicious.
Could someone link to a url where I can email steam support directly and inform them of this?
Far as I know; steam/valve ensures that whatever gets uploaded unto steam, to allow for people to download, at least does not contain malicious viruses or trojans etc.

I'll email the pub and dev, but until then, I'd like for steam to know about this as well.

That 4K TV can be your monitor if you can get a good comfy couch setup though?

Got gifted a copy of the new Ori game which means I need to go play the original Ori game now. Good times ahead I think based on this opening cutscene.

Finished my 108th game this year, best year ever for me when it comes to finishing games and it's solely because of the coronavirus has shut down everything around me.

I don't think Im ever gonna finish this many game a year ever again and most of the games I have finished have been 1-6 hour games.

It's all downhill from here.

Do not forget to put game prices in your equation. Consoles sure can be tempting, but games on them are still nowhere near as cheap as on PC.
It's a choice.

It's one of the most wonderful games ever made, especially in this genre. You are in for a treat, and I'd argue the first one is better than the second, on account of it being the first one you'll experience in that style .
