As ever when i watch Josh, I feel inspired. I might have to do some home remodelling and use some fireplace strats in my Valheim world this evening.
I need to just mess about in a game to unwind tonight. Probably watch the Nyanners Bloodborne VOD while playing.
ha, I wish his videos inspired me to play these games, but its more like a "ah, now I dont have to play it" type feeling with his videos. ;) but they ARE great and very entertaining. the effort he puts in is crazy.

you heard wrong :negative-blob:

and now i'm also hungry :negative-blob:
dude then whyyyy did you buy it :disappointed-face:

First of all, Forza Horizon 4 is not available in my region. Secondly, the trauma of GFWL is still alive. And lastly, those who had been gaming on PCs for a long time should know that Microsoft is untrustworthy. The Bethesda acquisition ain't cute, we will never see a Morrowind again (although my fave is Oblivion hahahha).

I need some help. I now have the Rebel EOS T5 camera but I need an SD card.

What would be an ideal SS card to get for it? I mainly plan to just take pictures with it.

I purchased a Sandisk ImageMate MicroSDXC UHS-I card with adapter. It's 256GB with speeds up to 120MB/s Read. I payed about $40USD for this. Is that a terrible price?

There is a lot of memory cards and I'm not sure which one to get so I got this one to try out and then to return to Walmart after testing the camera out.

Supraland now has had over 600,000 unique players (plus pirates) and word of mouth is doing fantastic for it.

I have indeed messed with it after being excited for it for some while and sadly it isn't for me. I do like the style of it and it is certainly quirky - I just wish that maybe some of the quirks wouldn't carry over to the gameplay and level design. Personally, I think the levels are way too big, off-scale, weirdly labyrinthian at times. The gameplay has neither the precision of a tactical shooter, nor the inventiveness of an immersive sim, nor the fluidity of an arena shooter.
It does a mix of a lot of things and it does it in its own very weird and alluring way but it's just not for me. My girlfriend loves it though and I can understand the appeal very well!
Yeah, I think I came into it with the expectations of it being a shitpost anti-game and nothing else. It nails that hard enough and the weird meta of watching it be built (see: fishing) is giving me quite a bit of amusement. Something about the absolute reduction and basic refusal to try and be anything more than what it is really gets me I guess. Not sayin it's some good hidden gem great art thing, just I'm really too into shitpost humor and boomer shooter type shit.

I just played a round of APEX on N/S...... I don't care what people say not everything should be ported to that platform.

My experience was just terrible. I will explain more later but my god was it bad.

Funny enough me and my team mate would have gotten maybe first place but for what ever reason they just choose to run at the last minute and didn't look at the map and pay attention to the circle..... Good times.

heh love how cheeky they are

Always great to see, it has better numbers than games that have been going up and down the gaming media, while Supraland was barely mentioned in these at all. It's such a relief to know, you can focus 100% on making a good game, and you don't need to panic about not getting enough visibility, about getting a useless booth on a gaming expo and yada yada. If people enjoy it, it will happen. If they don't, all the marketing can't save it.

Just a shoutout to all devs: only average products need advertisement! People love to tell their friends about stuff they really enjoyed!

The last game I bought for 60€ was Starcraft 2. Unless you have lots of disposable income (and I would personally argue that the following applies even in that case) games are poor value and a sub-optimal experience at launch. I really see no reason whatsoever to spend 60 or 70€ on software that in a few months will be much cheaper and much more polished.

I understand that some people are just really excited and can't wait to play a new game, I was like that when I was younger so I don't blame them for doing so. But if you can wait then doing so is clearly the most sensible option.

I mean, I'm getting the new Monster Hunter day 1 for $60 in a couple weeks. There's usually 1-2 games a year I'm willing to drop that on, and it's basically always something multiplayer/competitive. For something competitive I don't really have a choice, but I do at least only pick up things I'm extremely interested in and know the risks. For non competitive stuff, like MonHun, it's just a lot easier and nicer for the homies to get it around launch for the sake of timing. It's not even FOMO, we know we could get it later and have more or less the same experience, probably better knowing how MonHun releases go. It's just a timing thing, and again it's something where we know the risk.

Idk, I don't think it's entirely unreasonable to drop a decent price on a game you're confident you're going to want to check out anyways. That is saying, again, you know the risks that you could end up with something like Cyberpunk. That being said, I usually give it a couple days to make sure it's not a literal disaster, and don't preorder or overcommit.

But also LMAO what in the actual fuck is that Forza price why would anybody pay that.

Branded sd cards everytime and avoid any fuckwit that might sell you a fake. Personally I never had one but allegedly, according to the always accurate interwebs, fakes arre common.
The faster the better for a SD card and also be be aware that your camera should/might be also be taking pictures in uncompressed formats as well as .jpg etc. Massive files but uncompressed and very high quality for you to mess with at a later date in photoshop or whatever. Only mention those files because they will very obviously eat your memory card.
I used to turn uncompressed images off if I was just taking photos of my wife and then back on when taking pictures of the cat. Or try and remember to transfer the gigs of images off the card every time :)

Hope you enjoy your DSLR though. :)
