How did Steam & Playstation manage to get approved on ios?
I don't have any hard data to back my opinion, but (as far as Steam is concerned at least, I've never used the PS app) the Steam app might load the store through a web view, which is basically like opening a browser tab inside the app "frame".
You can see the same with other apps (at least on Android), like if you open a link in FB it opens it inside FB itself rather than in Chrome (or Safari I guess). That's technically a stripped down version of the device's base browser. Blocking that would kinda mean also blocking any web site selling stuff.

Also, what you buy in the Steam app is not playable on the device itself, so it's more similar to the Amazon app, than the app store itself.
This would have been questionable with Steam Link integrated in the main Steam app, reason why it's a separate app altogether.

any indication yet if this is going to be more like the first or the second?
yup they mentiond it with the previous gameplay trailer
“When we were reviving the IP, there were certain ingredients that we needed in order to make it faithful to the original,” lead gameplay designer Pawel Kowalewski told me. “[But now], for Shadow Warrior 3, we wanted to go back to our roots and make a game that’s focused on a linear single player campaign that’s filled with over-the-top action from the opening credits.

I just more-less rage quitted Gears 5 because last Act is just pure BS at least for me. It is arena after arena and wave of enemies after wave of enemies. It really gets annoying, there is no game design just small spaces and tons of enemies.

I can’t stand the idea of playing at my desk. I need a steamboy, or at least a mobile phone for streaming.
What the fuck is wrong with me ? The plain chair doesn’t help. My royal behind demands some cushion :cryingwhyblob:

That being said, I'm stupid and didn't talk about digital boardgames. Not the same thing, but easily organized.
I'm sure PossiblyPudding would be happy to help set up something if the god of timezones is with us.

Man, I really need a webcam and a mic... to never dare using them, but hey !
The winds have told me there's possible need of event organizing and I have arrived! Or it might have been this mention, who can really say? ..Also don't answer that.

But seriously, I'd be happy to do it. If we can get enough folks interested in playing some board games online I'm sure we can get something going. Possibly even work it into our co-op event rotation. Have a board game night in addition to our normal event. Like we could do one at the beginning of a month and the other near the end for example.

You have to eat, drink and bathe in the corporate Kool-Aid to say stuff like that on the stand, under oath.

I mean, who fucking does that? Why not just say, "Do you mean the PC service or our console business?"

Why use PR-approved nomenclature in court?
"Is windows 10 ass backwards because of execs like you?"
"Do you mean ass backwards S or ass backwards X?"

When I opened Steam just now I saw that there is a new 3Dmark benchmark, and in the press release they write how it is very specifically designed to be able to compare desktops and high-end mobile devices, specifically the M1.

I thought "hey that's interesting", so I ran it, but it seems like it's impossible to actually find out what an M1 scores in this benchmark on the internet. Even though that would appear to be its primary purpose. Strange.

Also, 3DMark is clearly not nearly as popular as it used to be (back in the day it was basically synonymous with benchmarking), because a basic run I did actually ended up on the "Hall of Fame" for this benchmark. Sure, I have the most high-end current desktop GPU, but when 3DMark was popular you'd only get on those lists with insane LN2 overclocking. Mine is barely even overclocked with stock cooling.

Anyway, if someone has better Google-fu and finds M1 results, let me know.
This is the result I got on my M1 Macbook Air 13":

I am lukewarm on Nier Replicant. I finished one playthrough, it was fun enough, the story was ok and I am aware of the whole routes thing so I understand that I will get a lot more out of the story if I play through it multiple times. The thing is though, some of its gameplay elements are severely outdated and they kill my desire to play through it again. Honestly, I don't think it holds up.

Today, we’ll be turning sliders back on for all customers on our bundle pages while we take more time to review feedback and consider sliders and the importance of customization for purchases on bundle pages in the long term.

Did you play it back in the day? It is difficult for me to rate the game objectively, having been a huge fan of the xbox 360 game. The pacing of the game is pretty great with the balance between returning to the story content, sidequests and emotions in the village, visiting the beautiful sea and desert cities, and exploring the genre busting dungeons. The music is obviously fantastic, the best that has even been in an RPG game. The core team of characters look great and have superb voice acting, especially Liam O'Brien Grimoire Weiss. The story is a bit complicated, but mostly good. I felt utterly relaxed when sitting down to play Replicant for a couple of hours, but I have not had the time to play through the remake yet. I prefer the design of the dad main character, but I guess it is interesting in a way to experience the game a bit differently with the brother main character.

Same feeling from my memories of the PS3 game to be honest. The repetitiveness is a bit hard to stomach.

The split currently still defaults to the whopping 5% for charity and about 35% for Humble, so make sure to slide those sliders. Also remember that Humble controls the split on their store and the monthly already and they do not actually need the money from the charity fundraising bundles to stay afloat, especially as they are a slightly fancier key store and have incredibly low server overhead.

I guess since MS bought Bethesda it's only fair that Playstation tries to compete in every field possible

To be fair to Bethesda, they usually don't charge 84 euros to beta test their games, or if they do you at least get some silly gadget or decorative object as well.
