This whole 'game/company xyz won't be missed / didn't look great anyway' thinking is imo the wrong approach and will only lead to many of you folding and eventually ending up filling Tim's pockets. Admit there are games on EGS you want to play. But you don't and won't because you got a spine. It's better for your mental health.
Also that rumor about Sony buying Take Two? It's really just that, no sources, very soft, but I'm not looking forward to what the gaming landscape will be like in 10 years when we've got a couple of Disney's owning everything. We had it so good up until now, had to go downhill eventually.

Oh I'm sure the service is fine. It's just hilarious that they "proved" it with a ratings portal that says Epic is terrible. Not a great idea.

i never said anything like that ... of course i want to play pretty much all those exclusive games ... they poached all the good ones
but yeah ... it's not always about money or getting my hands on a game the moment it launches ... hype doesn't really work on me (at least not to the extent that i'll do anything to play a game at launch)
only the revolution can save us now

Hey whoa, this is new! At least to me. Was previously console exclusive.
Based Idea Factory International w/ them PC ports tbh. Wish more JP studios would open a Western branch, seems that when they do, we actually get more PC Ports.
Now THIS is my kind of game.
Size in One Piece is so weird when put in context, though for a fighting game it'd be funny if the giant-sized characters were like Gold Lightan/LP mech in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom

why do you think all those porn animu games have been disappearing from steam en masse recently? they're all going to epic!

So that's how it goes. Devs approach Epic to get their game on EGS. Epic picks the most promising games and offers the devs so much money they can't refuse. It's disgusting really.
After realizing that the new Vampire game will very likely be EGS exclusive, the first thought that crossed my mind was pirating it. Not sure I'm actually going to do it, but it would be my first pirated game in more than 10 years. That's what Epic's "competition" is doing with me...

Agreed. That's probably what I'll end up doing as well. I have over a hundred games on my wistlist on Steam. Epic may run out of money before I've finished all of these

Got my new MX518 and made the same mistake I did when I was 13 and got my first one. Read that its clicks are limited to ~20 million and now every click feels precious. Don't want to waste them.

Maybe I would do the same in the same situation. However, don't try to spin this in anything other than a business decision for yourself and the safety of your company in the forseeable future.

You don't actually need to mount anything, you can just unpack an .iso like a .rar or .zip nowadays.
Obviously tho, i am not condoning the illegal use of these functions for non-licensed software. Totally.

I didn't torrent anything the last 15 - 16 years but fuck epic and any publisher/developer who goes exclusively to them.

So I started playing Mutant Year Zero. I was really interested in this game when it first was announced so the lates humble monthly was a no-brainer. But so far Im having 2 issues. The UI font is tiny in this game, at times even smaller than the lates God of War which makes it almost impossible to read on a TV. Sometimes I need to lean in to be able to read the text, and I already sit pretty close to the TV (I already wear glasses). I dont know if the console versions are like that as well, but I wouldn't be surprised with how current trends are (RE: GoW).
The other is weird balancing. Similar to modern X-COM I've had several shots at 100% accuracy miss. This game only shows accuracy in increments of 25% so my guess is that it's using the full 1-100 range and just lying about it in the UI. I know missing 99% shots in X-COM is a running joke, but being told by the game it's a guaranteed shot and then missing is not very fun. It happened twice in the latest encounter before I turned off the game.
