Mostly just because I mentioned that i was getting 1440p 60hz to a friend and they asked about framerate and when I said I didn't wanna work my pc too hard while getting good picture quality, they suggested I may as well go to 4k. I have a beefy pc (3070 and ryzen 5600x) so I figured since I don't play a lot of AAA games that would be best.
I could go for 1440p instead if yall all think that's better for the price

While you can do 4K in many games with a 3070, especially with DLSS, the card is much better suited for 1440p/144hz, especially with only 8GB of VRAM.
I was going to say your best bet is to search for "Best Soundbars under 100 dollars" and check to see if the same ones are mentioned a few times anc check those out. I gave it a quick look to see if there's any meaningful results and RTings were top reply and they're always a good place to start.

I dunno. The character design looks edgy enough that a chuuni run style is perfectly on-brand.
Just tried Forza Horizon 5. The vibration on the XB1 controller feels excellent! Every car feels very different to drive. I turned down some settings so my 1080 Ti didn't need to go 90% usage, but the game still looks amazing. Spectacular experience.

TBH, I think 1440p display with Gsync/Freesync will work better for not stressing your GPU than a 4K60 one. You can set the framerate to whatever you want.

Even if you're not planning to game on it that much, 144 Hz is so much easier on the eyes. I don't know if it's only me, but my eyes don't get tired as fast as when using 60 Hz panel. I have 60 Hz monitor at work and 144 Hz at home, both IPS, so I switch between them pretty often and I feel less tired after 8 hours when using the one at home.
Edge of Eternity got another big update. Kinda irks me a bit. The game's supposedly out of early access but still has massive updates coming out. Not just like new content, but overhauling large swathes of the game. The balancing section makes it look like all the math and numbers got completely reworked, for like the third time since "release".
I just checked my account and I see I spent 18 United States Dollars on Lords of the Fallen.

I'm ready to be disappointed. Though to be fair, the C&C remaster was actually pretty good.
The sad part is thinking of how many "game series the fans loved back in the day" they have that are dead.

And oooohhhh, Crusader is a good one. Those games were so much fun. I wouldn't even mind if it was "only" a good remaster.
Personally, I'm always hoping for Wing Commander, but as I said, I know I'm going to be disappointed...

Is it though? They are simply giving those who were already playing through family share the ability to continue, so in a sense they aren't getting "new" users.
Well, my point (which is unprovable, yeah) is that if New World was still at 1 million users they wouldn't offer copies. But you are right too, it's more subtle than that.

I love how open this guy is about his business. It gives a rather good insight on the indie scene.
Yeah, it's slightly annoying. It's great that they are still continuing to improve it, but I bought it on the last sale shortly before it went out of EA under the assumption that then it's "done", but that was one year ago and their post-launch roadmap still includes 2022. To be fair the 2022 stuff seems mostly post-game/new-game+ kind of stuff, but there do seem to be new things that affect the entire game, so it's a bit of a wash.
So I am in need of some good headphones for my PC and since most headphones I ever had in my life sucked I'm looking for some advice/recommendations from this mighty council.
