Doesn’t seem too bad (not sure on regional pricing though).
There's a preorder promo on GMG (25%), it comes down to $23 AUD. Seems too good to pass up for its length so I just grabbed it myself (The PS1 version was about 70hrs, IIRC?)

It's probably going to be scuffed in one way or another, but it's a Unity game so VG Modding Discord will have their hands on it much sooner than later. :flare_smirk:

The time limit was 6 weeks, they changed it to 4 and that 10% to 90% range is new too.
this is partly correct, the limit is new (announced last month) but the % isn't, here you have the original mention from back 2017-

  1. NOTE: that your discounts need to be between 10% and 90%. The sheet is smart, so it’ll automatically adjust most input to a percentage. If you submit bad input, like a negative number or a value greater than 100%, the system will automatically reject that discount when you upload, and notify you accordingly.

Fighting Collection is like Darkstalkers Collection (which isn't a bad thing!) with some bonuses and once again a token Street Fighter for the name/sales. They shouldn't have Street Fighter since it has its own collections and add more obscure games. If there's no more (non Marvel/Jojo/licensed stuff I guess, even excluding the vs. games altogether) good 2D stuff they could add Rival Schools, Project Justice, Tech Romancer, or whatever else they have out there.

wooof, that actually sounds almost too much to me tbh :face-with-cold-sweat:
Not to me but either way it's almost certainly bullshit or, at the very least, a massive exaggeration. I'm sure the open-world makes it possible to spend a ton of time wandering around and exploring but in terms of actual content (i.e. dungeons and bosses) I fully expect something on par with previous Souls games.

The only question of game length is quality. I don't have a ton of free time, but I don't care if it takes me 20 years to beat a game. There are games that took me 10+ years of regularly playing. That's fine.

The only question is, is it stretched thin? Is there grinding? Is there wide open areas that take forever to traverse? Is the whole game too large that you spend most of your time just walking down too-large corridors or something? Do they just make you backtrack aggressively?

There is no too long or too short. There is only quality.

Any good wireless mice and keyboards y'all would recommend?
My personal advice would be to look up the different types of mouse grips, check which best suits you and then look for a mouse with the preferred shape.

As for recommendations, I had 2 razer mice's and they both exhibited a double click issue after just a year. It's a known problem on the internet that affects most, if not all Razer mouses so I would stray away from them ( Why they still didn't fix it??). Now I use Logitech G703 with hero sensor. So far so good, latency is perfect and the internal battery lasts for about a month of heavy usage ( Aside from gaming, I switch it between gaming laptop and work laptop because I work from home, RGB disabled). It's strictly right handed mouse, but Logitech has alternatives for left handed users. I'd you're looking for something less gamey, then I heard that Logitech MX Master is great.

If I =uninstall and reinstall steam what happens to my existing games?

Steam is pretty broken for me now. Friendlist I can't see who is playing what unless I hover my mouse.

Then I got steam saying I am playing random games, even after I restart the client and wasn't playing anything for a good 4+ hours. It is driving me nuts as the only way to fix it is to reboot my PC.

Accidentally running idleMaster or something? Had that happen to me once. Doesn't really explain the friendlist thing tho.

Nah I don't have Idlemaster, tho I use the Arch one but haven't used it in months.
Ok, well then to answer the original question, if you do the uninstall the usual way, then yes it will delete all your games also.

If you want to avoid that you can copy the /steamapps/ folder to somewhere else safe, and then uninstall steam, reinstall steam, launch it, exit it, move the content of the steamapps folder you saved to the new one.

That process is convoluted but I'm pretty sure it works. Not sure about save games as tons of games save in all kinds of weird ways.

Damn, Neon White is fucking good. The controls are tight & the gameplay is just sublime. If the full game is just as good as the demo, then it's already a GOTY contender for me. The levels are short & sweet with great flow & presentation. Unfortunately, there's a lot of aliasing.

I mostly skipped through all the story scenes because I wanted to test out the gameplay, so can't say for sure whether that part of the game is any good. Some famous voice actors, though. MC is Steve Blum.

I just bought a Logitech Pro X Superlight mouse and it works wonders.
Thanks :)

Logitech seem to be the go to for mice and keyboards

Haha I noticed this as well, I actually thought something was wrong with my notifications over these last two three days.
Same, came online earlier, 7 new notifications, I was thinking "huh, i didn't even write anything, and even if i did, it wouldn't have gotten this much response, even though my heartfelt, humorous, insightful and intelligent posts are always top notch" but then realised it was Tomasety still catching up, now in November :)

SteelSeries is pretty good. But it's not like I've tried many of their stuff. I just got their cheapest mouse and non mechanical keyboard some years ago, a Rival 100 and Apex 100, all are replaced by new versions by now (but the software still supports these fine) and they've been great so, whenever I do need a new one I'll be looking at SteelSeries again. I was disappointed with Logitech previously and SteelSeries seems like old Logitech to me in terms of mouse designs and stuff.
