My haul

PAC-MAN Championship Edition DX+
Geometry Wars
20 Minutes Till Dawn
The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth
VASARA Collection
Doom Classic Complete
Final Fantasy III
Rogue Legacy 2
Castlevania Advance

Basically a bunch of stuff that has been on my wishlist for a long time but never wanted to really buy them until I got the Deck. This was a Deck sale indeed lol.

There is still other stuff I wanted but Square shadow dropping FF7R kinda killed my sale budget and delayed a bunch of purchases until WinterSeal.

Also I'm only 7hrs in but Rogue Legacy 2 is really fucking good. First Spelunky 2 and now RL2...I love how these goat indie games got amazing sequels. And I am happy the devs took their sweet ass time to make the sequels so good.

Ubisoft did impossible, i can't find single place on the internet where people are happy with Skull & Bones reveal XD Era, reddit, YouTube, Twitter... everyone is disappointed XD
I mean there really isn't anything to get excited about from what I can see. When I think of the potential that a pirate game could have with Ubi money and resources and you get a game that looks worse than their old game. And I am a huge fan of Ubi games
(I really love and buy every assassans-farcry etc...), but this really does not appeal to me.

Klonoa is out now, but... even though it's $40 in the US, it's 50€ in the EU. <_<

Got it from the US gamesplanet instead, even with the cost of the currency conversion from € to $, it's far cheaper than buying it in € (plus gamesplanet has an additional 15% discount).

another day, another The Room update

improved geometry on the table to fit mine more, and also got some legal money through legal processes and activities so i could photogrammetry some more; that drawer right there, which ended up more of a hassle than it should have been

to save some money, i'll rather just retexture existing props and models around, such as retexturing HL:A books into my own books so i dont have to photogrammetry them myself + they'd be higher res + it's easier

next on the list would probably be:
  • curtains for the windows because i can
  • carpet photogrammetry, but instead of the entire thing, i'd just photogrammetry a sample piece of it, copypasta it several times into one model, and boom, money, time and everything saved
  • retextures for books as well as the scavenging of specific models i can retexture and use instead of photogrammetry

I was playing The Humans and there is this level where you have to setup your characters in a certain way and it takes around 2 minutes so another character can do a very tricky jump that if fails means a restart. I failed 5 times in a row so I decided to get a DosBox fork with save states. I take the time to install DosBox-X, setup the game, the disc mount and the save state hotkeys, only to make the jump on the first try.

Something about Yu-Gi-Oh it involves politics in Japan maybe some one can help me

So what was the deal with Abe? How long was he the prime minister for? And what did people like and didn't like about him? I just saw a thing about how the creator of Yugioh who also passed away did a thing in the past about not voting for Abe and that he got in trouble for it or something

He was mostly disliked (By westerners, mind you) because he was a very conservative, warcrime denying politician (Which isnt seen as much of an issue for many in japan itself where that is still fairly common)

He's also been memed much about

tbh i dont see a point in compactness unless i need to move the keyboard around (aka why i got MX Keys Mini for the deck) and also with my fat fingers the tiny keys are annoying to press
So for example, at my office, I often move the wireless K2 that I use around. Could be that I need to work on some documents and I need some space for some time. Maybe I want to make some notes about some problem I'm working on, and so forth. So actual mobility is already a nice feature.
But the biggest impact of the smaller footprint is about comfort and ergonomics. The 75% layout, and to some effect already at TKL, you can have the mouse much closer to the keyboard. So when you often switch from using mouse to having to type and back again, it just feels overall much nicer. And even when holding the mice, it allows me to have a much more natural posture I found. That is the big reason why I stress so much about the smaller footprint.
75% is a nice sweetspot, in that I lose pretty much no ease-of-use in terms of keys. As I said, the numpad collects dust most of the time. Ditching it give me real benefits, while I can still have the arrow keys and function keys that I actually do need in day to day use.
its easy i use local QWERTZ layout the most which standartly has ěščřžýáíé on on numbers row and for numbers you need to "shift it" ... so numpad is always faster and more comfortable to me
That is interesting. I use the UK layout, and there the num row is actually a num row by default. I can see the argument then a bit more.

Fuck those fucking dev that think a pause function is not needed. Crashed after a long cinematic in Xenoblade Chronicles. Replayed it, started the boss fight, and... door bell ringing. Morons.

What did the tweet say? It’s been deleted.
Tencent shutting down WeGame mobile app.

Also:

It is not the desktop app, it's just the phone app, WeGame PC isn't going to shut down (at least not yet)
Based on the article I linked above, WeGame PC is not doing well.

That's why I said, not yet.
It's fascinating though, WeGame has a big userbase, so weird that it failed. I assume it's because of Chinas strict regulations while Steam operates in the grey area allowing more games to be played?

You can press the home screen button to jump to the Switch main menu, thus pausing the game.

Pretty much one of the main reasons, yeah
