gotten a bit bored of Disciples LIberation. All the fights are the same and take way too long.
My thoughts as well. DL does many things right, I really love the combat system, characters and story. But there are way too many combat encounters, and many of them are too similar. I've finished the game last night, but it would have been a much better game if they removed half of the fights.

RE4 looked incredible and the (apparent) ability to parry and crouch and stealth as well as the knife becoming an actual mechanic instead of a novelty weapon seems like really cool additions to the game without ruining it. The story trailer showed quite a lot too and eased a lot of fears of content being cut.
Yeah, I love RE in general, but my hype levels shot through the roof with that showcase.

P5R really is an amazing Deck game. Getting like 3-3.5hr battery life at 60fps with good settings + 75% render. Turning down the fps to 30/40 gets you an extra 30-60min.

I've played the first couple hours and it definitely has a stronger opening than P4G. Overall just more visually/graphically ambitious you can see the difference between a late PS2 and PS3 game :D

I wonder how big of a leap Persona 6 will be over Soul Hackers 2 and P5R. I hope they bring over 13 sentinels to Steam as well soon.

I kind almost prefer how Persona 4 looked, I loved that low poly realism that they were going for.:D

The price of the new Rimworld DLC dropped in my country from ₹ 1100 to ₹ 700. Probably adjusted for other countries too. This seems like a more reasonable default price matrix update from Valve.

Yeah man, I'm one of the biggest RimWorld stans out there, but $25 USD seems pretty steep for DLC.

Yikes.

I'll get it eventually (I know Tynan rarely does sales stuff), but at this point it'll have to wait until I've got surplus disposable funds to burn.

Feels like for an extra $5 my money would be way better going to Stardeus.

Don't you autoresolve most battles? I remember the game offering an option to do so if you are a bit higher level than your opponent.

Slightly off topic but its a big weekend for me and i wanted to share.

Im getting married tomorrow! Off to the venue tonight to start the party. Man planning a wedding for 120+ people is stressful and expensive. Ill be very happy once it all begins and we can just enjoy the day.

I'd invite all you MC members if i could, i love this little community and wish you all love and happiness :cat-heart-blob:
Congrats!

Well I caved after just a couple hours, lol.

1. Fanatical has the DLC at -12% plus I had a -5% coupon, so the final price was just under $21.

2. I read a blog post about the DLC pricing and instead of the typical empty PR damage control it was oddly convincing.

From the blog post:

"Biotech will be priced slightly differently from our previous expansions, at $24.99 USD. (Other territories have different prices on Steam.) We hired a lot of people and took a lot of time (15 months) to make Biotech because that’s what it took to properly explore the ideas that we set out to explore. The feature set got big enough that we seriously discussed splitting this into two expansions, but decided to keep it as one.

Some companies have a “cost first” model where they decide up front to make an expansion in a fixed time/price (e.g. 6 months/$20) and force the creative process to live in those constraints. We take ideas and build them until they feel well-rounded and complete. We believe that different ideas naturally take different amounts of resources to explore, so it must be okay for different expansions to have different prices, for the same reason different games have different prices. Forcing every expansion to have the same price would mean trying to squeeze or stretch every idea into the same amount of production resources, which is not a path to creative flourishing. That’s why our expansions aren’t all priced the same - because they’re different in scope, because that’s what the ideas wanted."

Just looking around on the Rimworld Steam forum where they're discussing the price of the DLC and I found this... incredible post

Stripped of context but it was posted with complete sincerity. And really, what kind of context would make it okay for a person to think like this?

Lower than Days Gone on release day, not even reaching half of it.
I am not sure why Sony released 4 before 1-3. :disappointed-face:

I picked it up fairly cheap on Gamebillet, but have not even bother loading it up since this past week has been stacked. I also never played UC3 and ideally it would be nice to play them all in order. I guess the nature of the games it is probably not the end of the world to play them out of order, but still not too surprised given how many sought after games are coming out this month and the fact it is the later sequels in a series.

Dorfromantik has received teh Sakura update on PC. This contains all the optimisations they made for teh Switch version of the game, full controller support (which also makes it Steam Deck verified, but won't show up for a few days) and the Sakura biome. Will give it a go on my deck over the weekend.

Because they don't want to fuck up with TLOU and these 2 games run on the same engine

Which is? I have been using steam link to my phone for months (years?), would I see it then?
try to pick a game from library then go to a controller settings in library (you need to have a controller connected)
