Well devs can choose to do it still I imagine. Maybe not called as such but having it result in the same thing. Risk of Rain 2 had the 1 + 1 free prior to the launch. So if two friends bought it you'd have 4 for half the normal price. Steam can't make them do offers by force of course, it's up to whoever puts the game on Steam. I'm guessing they stopped in part due to people selling them on rather than using them. Usually, if we can't have nice things, it's because of people :p

Ubisoft is not involved and they made and published that game in 2003 so I imagine it's just based on the same Belgian graphic novel rather than a remake.

Although of course they could be looking to that game for inspiration on how to do some things.

I know that they got a mixed reception, but i enjoyed the games from Three Fields (those available on Steam).I've been playing recently the first Danger Zone. That game and Dangerous Golf seem more polished than Danger Zone 2.Also, when Dangerous Golf was in development, the team was larger (11 people then).
Golf was a good first try but DZ1 such a huge step down overall that it ruined the small momentum they had.

Another comment mentioned that if GPU prices continue to be outrageously high, it will be hard to turn down consoles that offer so much for so little in price. (Comparatively.) And while I don't ever see myself going back to the overly-restrictive console lifestyle (i like mods, cheats, and ReShade too much :p), I do see the mans point. High-End GPU prices are whack. 😅 (And I say that as a 1080ti owner.)
Prices of midrange cards has come down a lot already and when that Navi stuff hits PC there should be more movement, same with other components. Almost every new console generation offers a solid price/perf ratio upon release but with them using mostly standard PC components/chips now the magic sauce will become thinner and thinner. Also while you can built a cheap, good gaming PC few of us are PC gamers because of price and I've been hearing the same 'no reason to buy one anymore' since the 90s.

And now to read the next 5 pages. Pls slow down, I'm old, have mercy.

They mention it's a remake in the description:

XIII: The thrilling Cel-Shading First Person Shooter is back! The video game XIII (Thirteen) is back in a remake. XIII’s quest for identity will start again on November 13, 2019 on PlayStation 4.

XIII is a First Person Shooter where you play as «Thirteen», a talented soldier who lost his memory and has been accused of killing the President of the United States. You first wake up injured and amnesic on Brighton Beach with the only clue being a small key and a mysterious tattoo « XIII » next to your clavicle. It’s now your job to search for answers through a 34 levels solo campaign. Don’t worry, you will find the appropriate weapon arsenal along the way. With questions not missing, neither are the bullets!

Oh. Why isn't Ubisoft involved? I made sure to check the logos. Now I'm confused. The game was taken off gog so whoever published it there (was it Ubi?) lost the rights but I'd assume that means the novel rights they had to make and publish the game, not that they lost the rights to their own creation/content. I dunno.

I'm somewhat tempted to try making a mobile games thread, but I have no idea how to handle an OT and don't really play enough mobile games for that. Just seems like a gap of sorts, here.
Please do so. While I'm not a big mobile gamer, I know a few fellow members are. :)
You can always edit it and format it later. ;)

The forum has a lot of cool functionalities (you can easily add backgrounds, you can resize images by dragging them, like windows), and it's easy to work with.
And, I'm sure a few fellow members can help you with it.

In other news, today's insane number of launches continues:

It's the same number, Corsair K63, just wired. Not hard to spot, just look for the wire

Amazon product
Looks like Corsair only delivers them with Red switches, which seems a bit weird. Maybe a cost saving thing to make them easier to manufacture.
That embed is broken for me. Also I can't really read chinese and you can't really trust pictures sometimes...

This is what I found: PChome線上購物 -

Is the STRAFE just the K63 with a numpad? I actually use my numpad (for nethack and caves of qud - when I get around to it + some passwords)

Been up for over 28 hours having a blast with you guys in this thread and really trying to interact with all the new MC recruits. It was fun, but I must finally sleep or things will go quite bad and plus my mouth still needs proper rest to heal after that hardcore dentistry last week.

:wd_kisses:

I'll respond to qoutes tomorrow for sure. ;)

Hmm, not sure why that's an embed. I just copied the Amazon link.

The Strife is a different model, note how it doesn't have the media buttons on top left. So I can't speak about them. It's both from Corsair, so maybe not that different?

I finished Broken Age the other day, I was expecting the worst and damn I was shocked how good it was, A competent adventure game where I didn't need a FAQ to beat it. I want to give a Double Fine a positive review but I'm expecting the worst from them, They will 100 percent be bribed by Epic and I don't expect Psychonauts 2 to launch on steam at launch and that makes me upset I already black listed Remedy, Ubisoft and 2K and most indie developers and don't know If I'll ever buy a PC game ever again.

My FF connection was just the Red XIII pokemon in FFVII, ha. But I think I've gotten over that these days.

Planet Coaster is on sale but none of the DLCs is at higher than 20% off

There is a bundle discount if you buy it all.

But tbh planet coasters disapointed me. It's fantastic if you just want to build stuff, but as a sim where you have to manage stuff and make the whole thing go around financially it absolutely fails. Once you make a profit in one of the parks it never stops.

If anyone got it, try right clicking it and seeing if you can change the language to JP.
I'm not home, I'll check later.
Weird, on the game's page I can see two listings: one for the English version, the other is listed as "Japan Only".

I'm wondering if it's worth it to pick both, in case the differences are significant.

Bought Sigma Theory.

Restarted Steam.

Got 25% voucher for Sigma Theory.

I'll wait and see if same happens for Forager, no launch discount isn't a good look on a crazy day like today.
This is why I never buy stuff until weekends ya never know if Humble, Wingamestore or a coupon might drop for you :V

You can't
If you're in Japan you get the JP ver.
Everywhere else is the US ver.
Regardless, if the method I suggested nets you the JP versions, then it is no biggy.

Can't you just refund the game and buy it again? Unless you're in a hurry to play the game...

Edit: I looked at the game's store page... Those faces remind me of Carmageddon's.

I had XIII on disc a lot of years ago. I remember it being very stylish and very difficult.
I remember trying to record some gameplay using FRAPS but the result being really bad since my computer at the time was severely underpowered.

It also reminds me of this (quite alright) mini series adaptation:
