This year, I went "all in" on this sale, instead of waiting for the Winter sale.
I bought a big chunk of my top wishlisted games, mostly from various websites (Gamebillet and Fanatical, in particular, had some nice deals, and I even got a free 10€ voucher on Fanatical), which should last me for ages. Which is good, since I'm planning to further cut back on my games spending next year to an absolute minimum (outside of the occasional "special" title), like I already did with other things (Blu-Ray releases, music purchases, ...). Life is getting more expensive by the day, plus time is finite, and considering how long it takes to me to go through most games, I think it's time for me to "close shop", and enjoy the countless titles I have yet to touch.

It's an insane amount of stuff, and a decent amount of € spent, but then I look at the price of, say the Forspoken Digital Deluxe Edition, and I realize I bought most of my list for less than what a single Deluxe Edition of a recent game costs, and feel slightly better.
