I hear that's coincidentally also exactly the same date they will drop Kingdom Hearts too. Believe me.
Somethings gotta give.

Even if we assume the games sold so poorly on EGS that they forgot about them. But there is no way they forgot about them for 2 years.

And I refuse to believe Sweeney bought permanent exclusivity.

They have to be released this month or early next. They have to. And they cannot be priced the way they were on EGS.

I get the impression the people posting here about these Squenix games care far more about them than anyone at Square headquarters in Japan. Especially when it comes to handling PC ports. Realistically, I think the question is if they bothered to spend the money to produce both a Steam and EGS "port" (API inclusions and so on). If so, then all they need to do is press a button once the year is over. In the other cases, Square would have to spend money for the PC porting team again, and maybe they just literally decided that it's not worth it, based on the low EGS revenue. At least that's the kind of hare brained thinking I can see people at Square Enix doing. Would that mean Kingdom Hearts and etc. are never coming? No, but it could literally be 10 years from now when someone at Square re-discovers the idea of looking after your backlog of games on PC.

New dbd chapter DLC out:

I watched Terrifier 2 yesterday. I never liked slasher movies but a Terrifier DLC chapter with motherf*cker Art clown would be so great.

In other news... for people who enjoy +18 games. Banned on Steam game Holodexxx released another module for the game. 'Holodexxx: Riley Reid Redux' released on itch for $9.99 USD this past weekend. : P.

Is this the Humble Choice with the lowest average review score yet? 2 out of the 8 games seem solidly in "Very Positive" and the rest are below that (Golden Light is VP but it looks like it got a lot of meme reviews so idk if it counts), including some mixed / negative ones. I don't go purely off of Steam reviews but still, kind of surprisingly bad looking pool to me and I am one of those ones that almost always finds an excuse to get the bundle.

... Still waiting on a Returnal patch for co-op. You can't go a single page on the Steam Forums without MULTIPLE threads on the co-op issues, so... idk. Some communication would be nice at least.

In the meantime hubby and I got addicted to Sons of the Forrest. It's pretty fun to just dick around and explore. Do sandbox shit. Normally I don't like these survival games due to all the micromanaging. But this one balances the survival stuff quite a bit, it's not over-complicated and doesn't take much to maintain yourself. So it feels less like a chore and lets you have more fun focusing on other things to do. Same with the building. It's not a complicated or overly-needed system at all. I hate it when crafting in games requires a damn flowchart and 600 different mats to the most minute of details.

So anyway, you guys know any other games like The Forest/SotF in these regards? Craft/Survival games that aren't overly annoying about it?

Are you talking about the crashes regarding Returnal?
I agree that they really need to fix that, but we've played for 25+ hours in coop now on DX11 without a single crash.

Also, the game does support HDR in DX11 mode, the only thing you lose is raytracing (which really doesn't do all that much in Returnal).

wHY does everyone only ever want to fuck with me, but never just fuck me :NotLikeDis:
I really wanted to make a joke about that, but it would have been easily interpreted as agressive while I would just have been playful with you.

The Return of Castlevania DLC is really good. Played through a few levels and beat one of the bosses so far.

Wish we had more of these type of crossover DLCs. There is so much potential across the industry. Like why couldn't FromSoft do this with Bloodborne for example?

But yea 10$ is great price for such good content and a rttp reminder how good Dead Cells is. Its so fun, fast and responsive. And chefs kisses on Deck getting 5+hrs of battery life. Its an incredible way to play it.

I just double dipped on this since the base game is on midweek madness sale. All my progress is on Switch, and wow, this game is tough before you have any unlocks. It's going to take a while to get back to where I was. But by that time, the DLC will be on sale! And in the meantime, I get to play this absolute masterpiece.

I'm not usually excited or hyped for many/most/nearly all "big" releases, but Returnal, RE4 Remake, and Last of Us Part 1 all releasing in a short amount of time is killing me  I don't really generally pay full price or even close to full price for games anymore, though I did already preorder RE4 Deluxe for under $50 (CDKeys), so those other two will have to wait

I mean 1 week has 168 hours. If we account for 2 hours of sleep every day, that should be plenty to finish Baldurs Gate 3.
If it was 2 weeks I may have given it a shot but no chance with 1.

I play these type of games really slow and won't enjoy anything that fast.

The 2 games I wanna play the most in 2nd half of the year and willing to put a lot of hours into both too. They just had to be that close wtf.

But wtvr I will just delay BGIII playthrough to Nov/Dec as I am much more hyped for Toddfield. I need a good SyFy rpg fix. I was even thinking about playing the Mass Effect games again not that long ago. And I've played those titles so many times now.

Now watch something like SMTV steam or new Dragon Age release in Nov/Dec just to mess with me some more.

Gotta admit, I am pretty excited about Starfield. Not as much as about STALKER 2, but it is not far off. Hopefully that extra year they took will mean truly polished experience at launch (hahaha right)

My goodness SpaceBourne 2 is so gosh-darn good.

It absolutely blows my mind that it's entirely made by one guy.

Has a lot of the trappings that plague other micro-indies such as questionable polish levels, but good gravy does it also sport a ton of ambition & heart.

Looks like I have the 2nd lock for my '23 GOTY list.

My time with SB2 also inspired me to nab X4 and the first 2 DLCs. Noticed they were on sale over at GG so I was able to grab all 3 items for just under $30.

Only dabbled a bit with it, but it looks quite promising so far. Feels like there's a lot of logistics & management in play here and that's a 1000% my jam.

Though the flight models & controls between SB2 & X4 are really quite different, so I can see this becoming confusing fast as I hop between the two, lol.

X4 is good after 2 DLC, but still has not the depth of X3:AP. I always want to play more of X4, but than I start and am remembered how much better X3 (with mods like Litcubes universe) is and give up

When I turned on the alternative Vania soundtrack from the options menu... that familiar save room music. :blobmorning2:

The DC Castlevania expansion is so gooood, two of my favorite things mooshed together. Who could have predicted us all falling down another Dead Cells rabbit hole in 2023? It's five years old, holy shit :face-with-open-mouth:
