I have Persona 5 on PS4 but I just can't seem to be able to actually complete a long game on console. I have no idea why but it's just how it is.
I'm in the same boat, have it on PS3, but after 60+ hours in the game, I'm simply tired of the gameplay loop, and cast isn't interesting enough to justify another 40 hours of boredom.

It feels easier for me, because there's no distraction while playing on a console. Yes, you can alt tab and browse or use other apps like on a PC, but it's pretty slow so I never do it anymore. I can focus 100% on the game when my console is on. Meanwhile on PC, even on a loading screen my left hand can unconsciously press the magic keys combination, and before I know it, it's been 30 minutes already. :face-with-tears-of-joy:

I'm not easily distracted, certainly not if it's something I like to do, so to me that's a clear sign that something isn't worth my time.

Playing through some Dark Devotion. This game is good fellas:

Right now the only complaint I have is that I don't like the animation for getting on and off ladders or even going up or down them. It feels a bit juxtaposed against all the other animations that feel rather natural.

So basically I only have petty complaints atm. Solid A+

Atlus sucks. 😬

I platinumed P5 on PS4 at 105 hours, but that doesn't make me not want it on PC. All the Persona's really. As I said earlier there's really no excuse for this kinda stuff nowadays. Not like Atlus is a small dev and no publisher.

Leaving money on the table like this... smh.
It is really funny when people still talk about Atlus like if it were the 90s, a small dev in a tiny office. They have to be one of the companies that milks their fans the most, and thats without taking into account the massive licensing deals they have going on.

For a company known to have some really great, creative and just "modern" perspective on design and presentation, Atlus' business leadership must be the most conservative of essentially any Japanese game developer. Totally insular and stuck in their ways.

At least Atlus doesn't have THQ problems when the head has no idea what the hell it's left hand doing.

Atlus needs better western division, guys who actually good at adapting and catching trends in time.

Project Winter is an 8-person, multiplayer game focused on social deception and survival where players are randomly assigned to the role of Traitor or Survivor. Players must gather resources, repair structures, and brave the wilderness together - but beware of the traitors within the group who will be steadily gaining strength as the match progresses and whose only goal is to stop the survivors by any means necessary. Communication and teamwork are essential to the survivors’ ultimate goal of escape.

How does it overall compare to Salt & Sanctuary, especially in the level design and amount of viable character builds?

It's impossible to obtain Persona 5's soundtrack legally in my country without importing a physical CD from abroad another continent, I imagine that's true for the rest of Europe as well. I'm not surprised Atlus still ignore the PC as a platform, and also expects people to rebuy and replay the entire game to see the new content.

Remember how long it took Japanese devs to notice Steam?
It will take them slightly shorter to notice EGS. So expect first Bamco game to be released there 2023.
And it will be the Naruto Ninja Storm collection (Switch port)

I'm only still at just the very beginning. Level design feels ever so slightly off-kilter against character movement. Moving platforms kind of slide around too greasy compared to the very methodical pace of the playing character and NPCs. There are already hints of switches and levers that can only be accessed by certain builds. I have barely touched the character skill trees and blacksmiths and stuff. Stats and carrying capacity are pretty well laid out and the first boss you meet establishes combat pretty well and largely is what succeeds in making this game dope.

Certainly a zweihander requires more stamina to swing around and more deliberate timing. I much prefer the aesthetic of Dark Devotion over S&S, But the "aesthetic" only sticks it's landing pretty much on flat geometry and during combat. That is to say, the art style vis-a-vis the core combat gameplay are very much like peanut butter and jelly.

Do Fanatical mystery bundles worth a shot or it's the same shit full of shovelvare as other mystery bundles?

lol this is so random

Stalin vs. Martians 4 is a rather unexpected sequel to 2009’s infamous real-time strategy game.

We feel that the most appropriate way of celebrating the 10th anniversary of SvM’s release is to unleash a new installment of this successful franchise.

We clearly see a 2020 release for Stalin vs. Martians 4 and so should you.

That’s cool. I’d recommend GW2, it was the only MMORPG I hit max level in and did it with a few characters. The combat never totally clicked with me but I really enjoyed the levelling process and exploring the world.

Anyone know if the new Sekiro patch fixed HDR display locking other monitor to 22 fps?

Was just going to post it.
I really wanted Anima: Gate of Memories and Narcosis, so this is an ace bundle for me.
Fanatical picking up the slack when Humble has nothing I want, haha.
You can say that again. (y)

But, it's really bizarre: Fanatical usually has awesome, and far better "regular" bundles, compared to their recent events and "bundle fests".

It kinda makes logical sense, I guess. There's no way they'd get like a 100 high-profile indie games in a week.
Which does make the whole point of a bundlefest kinda dubious tho. Is it just a quantity over quality thing? They usually have like 1 or 2 good bundles and the rest are "filler" iirc.

Holy. Shit.
Also this sounds so fucked up. Like, holy shit.
The way he so non-chalantely mentions that a person freaking died at their desk is fucking chilling.
Sometimes I ask myself if it wouldn't be better if the AAA industry just... collapsed and started over? This is not sustainable.

This is entirely unrelated to anything being talked about right now, but I just want to mention again that I'm very much looking forward to Digimon Survive.

Looks pretty damn good actually.

Fingers crossed that Namco starts porting their backlog after the release. Gimme Cyber Sleuth dammit!
