Doesn't the 5000 series come out in 2025?Im about to try how Jedi Survivor plays on my soon 8 year old PC. I honestly expect myself to wait to play it until I get a new PC (whenever the 5000-series is out).

Yeah, nVidia delayed it to leave people more time to sell their kidneys and other superfluous organs.
It will have the same perf/$ as 40 series, but now with exclusive DLSS 4.6942, that could not possibly physically run on earlier series for... reasons.
Exciting stuff. I for one am shivering with anticipation.

Anyways, so far performance is much better than I expected, still in Coruscant though.
Honestly i hope Nvidia's next series has a focus more on perf per watt, Vs Perf per dollar.
I'd be ok with a card that's 4090 strength and cost, at half the power draw.
