That Ghostbusters game was legit as fuck. The original had some asinine DRM so I'm all for a digital remaster that can be activated more than 5 fucking times total.
They should include the Wii version tweaked to standard gamepad (maybe they already have, I think it was on PS2). It had co-op in the proper main story!

xinek I've been tempted by that for years but i end up backing out and just watching "Fix Your City" videos.

Biffa Plays Indie Games - Generalist

Sam Bur - Real Town Planner, City Fixer & Original Inspiration

Their other videos are great too, i just picked out the "Fix It" playlists.
OMG I love this game. I made a terrible spaghetti city with sky high taxes and awesome services. Tomorrow I will watch these videos and improve my socialist paradise!

Even for visual novels with only basic, obvious route-split decisions, utilization of guides are recommended because some expect you to play through the routes in certain order without actually making enforced playing order. I'm someone who usually plays them to 100%, so accidentally falling into "true" route where it spoils everything (not to mention it's narratively intended to be climax) is disaster.
I'm glad that neither Ace Attorney nor Virtue's Last Reward require using a guide to fully beat them. Sadly 999 is kinda impossible to beat if you don't check a guide, unless you get very lucky with your choices. I also had to check something in Zero Time Dilemma, as the game never explained I could keep voting to get different outcomes, which was mandatory to progress.

Yeah, the replacement for my dying main ssd is nearing delivery, going from 256go to 1to, hype.
And I don't care if the old one is a liability, with steam cloud I will ride the fucker into the sunset :minos_sheriff:

Now if only I wasn't so depressed, but oh well...
I'm in a mood for an fps but it seems they don't do those anymore. I love shlooters, but I'm talking more about the gun, meet face, kind. The only recent one I can remember is Wolf 2 but the fan reception soured me on it.

Edit - evidently I'm a sheep and this craving is partly due to Rage 2 releasing, but as I said on Discord, I'm torn about this one. I loved Rage 1 to death, with all its flaws, but hated Mad Max with a passion.

Ah man, Plague Tale looks really cool. I'd love to buy it and show support to the devs, but between the Golden Week sale and blowing a shitton of cash on the Anniversary packages in Girls' Frontline... I'm broke for now!

Did you ever play the original Chaos;Head? Cuz lol. Some of the route requirements... Not just delusion triggers, but the medical eval form. o_O

I always play VN with guides, haha.
Me too. Even if it means I can't always play them day-1. It's better than having to re-read large swaths of text, or get frustrated... I guess the exception is VN's which include their own flowcharts though. Those tend to be quite handy.

They are actually bribing consumers to use their store now :p
And I see some over on the other place are easily bought, not realizing that just becoming a customer is a win for Epic, as is giving any dev doing an exclusive deal money through the EGS. A measily $10 is all it takes and people will start fabricating justifications and forget the bigger picture. That's why I fear Epic will 'win' in the end.

oh, they definitely will ... like i said - it's just a matter of time before people start "breaking" ... if not "free" games, if not exclusives then something else ...

sadly

The jp release of the casltevania collection has the us version of castlevania 2, not the japan only fds release.
ahh, i see ... well, at least you won't have to try to hunt down the JP version ... i guess :p

With that $10 money, I can buy certain games from EGS, including Openrecia, Obvservation, Dangerous Driving, Hades, Shakedown Hawaii, and some other indies. I wonder if it'll be worldwide.

Fun Game so far but Do Not Buy

Bethesda withheld the information that the game uses Denuvo Anti-Tamper until 24 hours before release. Bethesda also withheld the information that both the pre-order content and Deluxe Edition content require a 3rd-party Bethesda.net account until 24 hours before release on the game's Steam page. Because the main game can be played without a Bethesda account but the DLC content cannot, this in effect holds paid for content hostage until you create a Bethesda.net account. Bethesda's own website does not mention the need for a Bethesda account on their own support page on System requirements (as of 1:40 AM Central Time May 14th 2019, 3.7 hours after release. Withholding this information which would have impacted pre-order sales until right before release should be considered a form of fraud/false advertising. Both measures would have taken more than a day to add to the game's code and Bethesda would have known about it for a substantial amount of time before release. The only reason to have withheld this info would be to prevent the inclusion of these requirements from affecting pre-orders. This is greedy and unethical corporate behavior.

TLDR: Good Game but Bethesda withheld critical game info until 24 hours before release in order to gain more pre-orders and are now holding extra content hostage until you create a Bethesda account
Ew. Time to take it off the wishlist for me. Thanks again user reviews, for informing me about things the publisher doesn't have the balls too.

To make things worse. Bethesda didn’t put the denuvo warning until 3 hours before release. Definitely not a good look.

Ugh, I don't want to create a Bethesda account. I hope this won't stay in place for long.... nor for future titles.

Why can't the publishers keep things simple? What's the need for Denuvo and accessing another account?

Denuvo because shareholders are monkeys who will fling shit at anything they don't understand so better to spend money on something worthless to appear like you're trying to do something about piracy.
Another account because Bethesda probably wants to be on Steam but sell DLC and MTX through their own services so they get the full dolla on those.

I wonder when they are going to make EGS discounts part of the fortnite battle pass.
probably soon ... they already first announced that sale through the fortnite account (and during a fortnite stream, i believe) ... so ... you know ...

I don't know... If Epic actually gives $10 to everyone, it's very likely their store isn't doing so well as expected. I think sales of games like Close to the Sun and Operencia are really low.

No doubt many people will grab these $10 dollars and use it to buy a game on EGS. But just like Epic's moneyhats, I don't think this action will lead to loyalty or customer binding to EGS. Most people (strongly) dislike it, and they won't use it unless they really have to or when they get something for free. This situation is not sustainable for Epic in the long run.

If we’re being honest most people will use this $10 for Vbucks or popular games like Satisfactory, Borderlands 3 or World War Z.

I doubt games like Close to the Sun will see much of a boost from this.
