Not sure it'll be enough to generate new interest but I'll reinstall.

Never get out of the boat!

Just the other day I saw that Apocalypse will get a 4K release in August for its 40th anniversary. So excited.

Prudis, thanks for that as it led me to this!
Sorry, not sorry for posting this here as i'm intrigued by this ever since i heard of the mythical arcade game.

"Killer Queen Black Switch and Xbox One physical edition announced "
I'll get Switch physical as soon as i can, if i can.
supposedly launching August 20 ... but steampage still has plain Q3 2019

Information about BoneCraft’s Release[22 MAY @ 12:28AM - D-DUB SOFTWARE

We are less than 2 weeks away from BoneCraft’s release on Steam!

When we released the naughtiest Sci-Fi / Fantasy game ever created, we thought there’d be no way Steam would ever allow it, but here we are. The world has changed, for the better, and adult gamers are finally getting the adult games they deserve. BoneCraft is a game where any concerns for a M Rating were thrown out the door on the first day of development. So BoneCraft is totally not for children, but if you are an adult, I guarantee you’ve never played a game like this before.

Some of you might have already played BoneCraft and are wondering what is different about the Steam version. For the Steam release, we have gone back over the graphics and gameplay, making improvements to bring it up to speed. We have also added Steam Stats and Achievements, so now you can not only put numbers to your conquests, but also unlock the most outrageous Steam Achievements you’ve ever seen, like Once You Go Green, or The Glory Hole. We have also integrated our three release girls (C3P-Ho, Robo-Ho, and Princess AmadollaHo) into the game, so everyone can experience them.

You will be hearing more from us soon, as we build to the release of the most AO video game ever slung on the pages of Steam. So . . . if you’re interested in those sort of things, add BoneCraft to your Wishlist and make sure to not miss a thing.

Finally got back to Druidstone and not really feeling it. Don't like the design of the main guy (only character I named differently into McGruffface because he looks like a videogame-ass videogame protagonist). Game lacks a certain snapiness. Maps were just okay so far. My other complain would be lack of cool powers but that hopefully comes later. Also no way of capping the framerate from what I've seen. Have a 144Hz screen but that game doesn't really need it and my fans start to spin up.

Gives me an urge to start XCom 2 though.

This escalated quickly.

I went for a mass shooter theme.

I imagined a mentally ill person ranting on social media while in the background you could hear guns being shot. The game that I came up with was a mass shoot[er] posting his frustrations on social media while simultaneously gunning down innocents.

I have very similar feelings on the game. It's not a bad game, but I'm losing interest very quickly. The lack of individual character progression is a big factor in it failing to hold my attention.

This looks freaking amazing. Space Engineers killer. In actual gameplay it'll probably perform more like this gif than the silky smooth video...

I don't play online much but if you don't need to spend ages to get to the good stuff I'd try it...

RTSS or Special K both have framerate limiters built in, might want to try one of them.

Trying my way through the Uprising Bundle, I played through Lifeless Planet today. That was really neat. Kind of chill, but requires enough input/attention that it's not boring, Cool atmosphere and story.

Republique is also pretty nice. It drives me crazy that it has no AA options at all though - why would anyone do this?
I guess I'll have to use Reshade to inject some Post-processing AA. But for real, no AA is an utterly bizarre decision :dizzy-face:

Indeed, the new artist is great!

Though your new avatar reminded me that we never got Raiko as DLC for Extella LINK and now I am sad.

I really want her and Semiramis. (And Mordred not that we need any more Sabers but...)

I would pay a disgustingly high amount of money for a Raikou DLC or for her to be in the next Extella game,

I hope we'll get all those servants at some point, mostly because they're all popular.

Yeah that's a good way to put it lol. Our wallets for a mama! \o/

I just learned Apocrypha got an anime adaptation. Up 'til this point, I've only ever read the novels so now I'm trying to get my hands on them blu-rays... The anime slipped right under my radar. orz

Pqube is really incompetent with the PC side of things... o_O

It'd be nice if a PC-Gaming media outlet could interview them and maybe put some pressure on them to get their shit straight.

Shouldn't we be waiting for the other localization of the definitive version anyway? Or is that another game I'm thinking of?

That's definitely the game you're thinking of

They said that they think the PC market is becoming more challenging and crowded and they are also talking to Epic as well in an interview for Kotodama.

PQube Interview on Kotodama, the Rise of Nintendo Switch, Making a Japanese Visual Novel, & More

G: And it’s really perfect for a portable unless it makes you cry in public (laughs).

GE:
It is! I’m really confident that that audience is going to move to Switch. I think the PC market is starting to become more challenging. It’s not necessarily a Japanese game issue, but more of an issue about the volume of content. There’s just so much stuff on there, and I’m kind of concerned that lots of people won’t be able to weather that storm… And then, of course, there are other platforms like the Epic Store…

G: What’s your outlook on the Epic Store?

GE:
We currently don’t have any plans. We’re speaking to them, of course, but we don’t have anything specific planned on that platform, because I think right now, and rightly so, it’s gonna be super-curated.

Of course, we’d like to publish things on the platform going forward, but we’re not at the stage where we can go “hey, we’ve got this thing and it’s gonna be on the Epic Store.”

That's definitely the game you're thinking of

Oh no what will we do without pqube’s mediocre lineup on Steam. Also telling by Punchline’s pc port. It doesn’t seem like their games would be much different there.

From what it's known from their twitter it seems punchline PC port was in dev hell for the duration of the delay, dunno the details but my guess is that as soon as they had a working port they shoved it out asap to be done with the project since it's been delayed for all that time.

I really take no joy in saying this because I like VN and I don't like to see publishers/devs of said games doing badly, but Spike-Chunsoft jumping in and making that partnership with Kadokawa was a blessing and for the best.

I laughed at a screenshot someone posted earlier of, I believe, PCGamer, filled with EGS banners, but I made the mistake of following a link from a Hitman website to a news piece on one of those websites that has been gushing about the EGS, and this is what I got:

VGR.jpg

Yes, Banners on the top, sides, and even a video playing, and obstructing part of the page!

How awesome is that!
They really have money to burn. :thinking-face:

“Epic isn’t desperate guys! They’re giving the $10 just because they want to be nice!!!”

To burn, throw in the toilet, sleep on it (insert Breaking Bad gif here) and so on.

And between this and PC Gamer I'm hoping the sale isn't going as well as they hoped :p

Also, kinda of funny that they had to remove some games and change the way the discount is shown on the store because publishers weren't happy with the perception of making new games appear too cheap... and now the are advertising "75% off!!!" all over.

EDIT:
Look what showed up.

That looks really nice. Ahhh... Zachtronics, the games that are almost like work but I enjoy it anyway :)

Having not played the FGO mobage, my only exposure to Raikou is only through Orangemaru's H-doujins.

The F/Apocrypha anime was a decent watch. Best boy Astolfo is in it so it can't be that bad. Still, out of the recent Fate anime adaptation, I prefer F/E Last Encore because it has generous doses of umu. And also because I like Shaft-produced anime.

OwO SHAFT is my favorite studio after Gainax so I'll look for that one too!
