Enhanced Edition too.
The original version of the game was removed from sale quite a while ago, it's not new.

But, indeed the Enhanced Edition has no buy button any more (but, I don't see a message saying the game was removed from sale).
The free DLCs are still available though.

Could this be an error? Will the game be really gone?

If anyone is interested in the game, Gamesplanet still has the enhanced edition, and it's currently on sale:

v1.4 is here with significant visual improvements, including updated planet visuals, adjustments to creature colors, and improvements to planet terrains.

Planets are now far more detailed than it was in the game’s previous versions thanks to enhancing terrain textures and lighting. Improvements to the terrain rendering system have also allowed for better frame rates and performance. Textures on props found on various planets like tentacle plants, mushrooms, bones, and more, have also been improved for more visual appeal.

Community requests have been addressed regarding bugs with the particle sorting and crashing. The game’s lore has also been updated. The aliens previously known as the Observers will now be canonically called the Arilou, and the ships they pilot will be renamed accordingly.

Doubt it.

The game receive mediocre reactions, and I doubt the player-base is significant.
If indeed it's gone, I would say Focus is simply giving up on the game.

I actually pre-ordered the game, because it was done by the developer of the strange E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy, but I pretty much never played it.
Every time I was going to play, something was a bit broken, and there were promises of significant content updates and fixes.
Then, the Enhanced Edition launched, and more updates and fixes were announced, so I waited once more to play it,

Oh well, if it's over, I guess I can finally play the game. :grimacing-face:

Enhanced Edition too.
Damn, it was on my list for the Summer Sale.

It's on sale on Gamesplanet right now, so I grabbed it for 11,50 € before it's gone there too.

Speaking of the Summer Sale, this wait sure sucks.
Not because I want to buy any games in particular, but because I basically "fear" buying games, or crafting badges, in these pre-sale days, because of potential benefits in the upcoming sales. :)

I'm hoping the sale starts soon.

I’m hating these games that are dropping now. I don’t know if I should buy now or wait. I typically like to wait for the actual sale. This ol’ Steam wallet is getting fat and I’m getting tired of waiting.

Those are a lot of the reasons I kept holding off on buying the game. I love just about everything Warhammer related but I couldn't ever talk myself into picking it up until it was hopefully fixed. Guess that might not be happening.. that sucks.

I just want the sale to be here. Not that worried of buying games or anything, I just love big sales. I wonder what those 'steam sales stopped being fun' people are talking about, the fun only stops when your wishlist is done for, and this absolutely isn't happening any time soon for me. Just yesterday I got interested into Banner Saga, today I'm looking at Insurgency Sandstorm hoping to pick it once July comes, and so on.

Yeah the initial bugs kept me from purchasing and it just went further and further down on my list. I am still looking forward to play it, I love the Space Hulk lore (and the 90s FPS games!)

Yeah, I had an old account back in like 2012 and remember those awesome sales. However, I still love the sales we get now. If you try not to buy much when it first releases, it’s nice buying a bunch of games at a big discount.

It’s not weird at all. I loved last winter’s sale. It was cozy.

I'm looking forward to the sale, but I'm not sure if I get anything before the 5th, where the remaining games in the Monthly unlock and the new one starts.
Don't want to buy duplicates :/

You should be fine, since next month, besides the already known games, we're all getting EGS game keys. :grinning-face-with-smiling-eyes:

I think that will be just the boost in reputation that Humble is needing right now :money-mouth-face:

Anyway, you guys just reminded me that the sale goes on for two weeks, so no reason to hurry things up. Not that this will stop me from filling my cart real quick.

I don't like old steam sales. I have compulsive tendencies and am not rich enough to splurge, so I don't buy ANYTHING until flashes are up and have to check them constantly. Also made me hesitant to buy anything that wasn't down to flash levels of cheap until the final hour.

Only thing I really miss is buying up random ass MP games in bulk to dole out to my friends. There was a point in time I had enough copies of Dino D-Day in my inventory that I could just populate a server more or less at will.

Steam Controllers and Steam Link were sold in Canada through Amazon and EBGames so i assume this is the same situation.
Yeah, they distributed Steam Controller, Link, and Vive in Australia as well. The bad thing about it is that they're rubbish and charges exorbitant prices for it. They've been selling Steam Controller for $90 for as long as I can remember. The only way one could find a unit for $60 or less is by going around town to their physical stores and see if there's any clearance stock.

I'll bet you they'll have the gall to charge $3K for the Index when it releases down here.

Agreed. Plus, some third-party stores still do a 'daily deals' thing when there's a bigger holiday sale running there. If I ever need the thrill of picking a game that I might not ever play in a flash sale I would check one of those

Also I just would like to let you all know that Woodcutter Simulator 2011 has been postponed indefinitely, sad way to end the day I know.

What. Did they at least have the courtesy and professionalism to leave someplace people can forward death threats too?

No but I'd say that review-bombing Woodcutter Simulator 2013 wouldn't be completely undeserved. In fact, said game is already mostly negative (clearly due to the publisher negligence regarding WC11).

When you add in all the bundles and stores that sell discounted Steam keys, I’m fine with the current Steam sales. Back then, I mainly purchased from Steam, Humble, and Desura.

Yikes. This gives me no hope for the writing in BL3.

Fuck Randy.
Wow.. I didn't even think about the "coincidence" for the character/voice actor, and my impressions during the quest were already bad because making fun of cryptocurrency in 2019 seems a bit "late to the party".

Not that BL2 was a masterclass in writing or anything :p, but this DLC was considerably worst for me. Before I thought there were a couple a good moments like the Tiny Tina DLC and the universe itself had some appeal (which Tales of Borderlands did make use of) but now nothing landed. I though it was just me because my current opinion of Gearbox isn't exactly a glowing one, but apparently not...

Whelp got the new job so it will be interesting to see how much time I have for games now. Honestly I'm more excited to start the job than all the upcoming games combined, but I still would like to have a little time for stuff like Quake 2 RTX and Trover Saves the Universe. Regardless I'll have more time this summer, before my next semester hits and I'm doing my job plus at least one of the few courses I need before graduating.

I'm very grateful to be in the rare position of being in school for a BS in CS and having a full software engineering job with great pay, 401K, medical, dental etc (dental, which I didn't have at all before, with 13 or so cavities and estimated >$10,000 work needed...)
Little update: I have time for games, exercise, family stuff, etc... even for this place.

Turns out you have a lot more energy working 40-45 hours doing software engineering than 80 hours retail, stocking, vacuuming, etc...
