I don't know what I'm doing, by I appear to be doing something right!
Really, I don't know why I have so many red points, but surely this can't reset tomorrow.
I mean, in a few minutes I'll already have close to €35 in vouchers, without purchasing anything.
I'm curious what will happen to those red points.
I still have 90000 left.
Speaking of vouchers, do these have a limit?
Do I need a minimum amount of purchases to apply it?
Edit: I have 73000+ tokens.
And, with another perfect game I have, I'll probably add 30000 more before going to bed.
And it also needs auto sorting features. Let me sort by tag, multiplayer capabilities, controller support (even though Steam Input makes it less important than before) and more.

We have existed and evolved for hundreds of millions of years, unbroken by multiple cataclysms, and are unbound by such a silly thing as "gravity". We are the cockatiel.

It took me reading the page, clicking some stuff, and reading like 6 pages of everyone being confused here to really nail this down.
If I understand it correctly, the boost capacity (red thingy) resets daily so if I wait until tomorrow I should be able to get my first $5 coupon, buy a game, then wait until the next day or two and do it again. Basically, self-curated flash sales, which isn't as bad as flash sales but can't say I'm a fan of needing to manage resources during a damn sale ~

Maybe it's tied to the number of games owned? Maybe it's Steam level?
Either way, I had over 160000 red points, and now I still have around 90000, and I already have 73000+ tokens.
FunktionJCB I've seen AStats mentioned and also this. It's a html page you download and open in a browser. I had a quick look and there doesn't seem to be anything odd about the file.

That doesn’t make a ton of sense then. Because at that rate, you would have half a dozen coupons, and I probably would barely end up with one.
I barely have 6000 tokens, and that’s even after spending around $35...
Well then.
I started with ~10k red points, I buy games on every Steam sale and occasionally off it and I have 944 games total. Not entirely sure what to make of it.
Edit: To be clear, a ton of my games are from bundles, but probably not even half? At a guess I'd say the majority are from Steam itself.

Ok, gonna do a last tuto, using myself as an example:
I started the sale like this:
You can see i had 213k red points and 214 boosts remaining. The 213k are actually all the tokens i can get, and it's based on the money you spent since the lunar sale (including whatever tokens you had left) and the money you spend during this sale. Now to get those tokens i need to fill the left white points. and those are from the quests. For me the best method was iddling games i had with 100% achievements for 30 minutes, so they would appear here:
So i just did that until i had 213k white points (this is after i did everything, so i don't have an image with both filled):
You need the same points for both. Once you get that you can start using this to convert both to tokens:
That results in this:
And that's it. After that, you can use those tokens (if you have enough) to get discounts, or you can do like me and throw all the money to the toilet to level up the badge:

Digital pinball fans, one last heads-up: the AC/DC table will be gone from Pinball Arcade and Stern Pinball at the end of the month.
The last time they removed tables, they were gone on the day before, so you shouldn't delay purchasing the table, if you want it.

Actually Zup 3 with over 1700 achievements and 100% completion only gave me 11k points. I'm sure there's already someone making a Google Doc with the most points per game/achievement.

I got 26000+ more points from all achievements from Castaway Paradise.
Next up: the original Sleeping Dogs (I have all but one achievement unlocked).
Regarding the number of points per achievements, from what I read somewhere on the website, it's tied to the "rarity" of the achievements.
If everyone has the achievements, it will earn you a lot less.

If it's tied to rarity i'll be playing some more We Happy Few tomorrow then as i've a chunk of achievements for that and the DLC that are well under 1% attainment. Possibly No Man's Sky too, some of my achievements were well under 10% attained.

Yup. Boosting is the same as converting your points into tokens from what I understand.

Please note: there may be a limit of around 100000 white points/tokens per day.
I've been doing a few more things, and while the red points increased with a purchase (used my first 3 vouchers), the white ones remain zero.
If anyone reaches this amount, and can confirm it, please let me know.

Every time I see a concise explanation for this meta game and feel like I finally understand it, I then see posts like this and realize that, in our heart of hearts, none of us really get what the fuck is going on.Weird, I still had white points, and suddenly they are gone?

The original "boosts" I received, I believe came from spending. The stuff I took from achievements came after I spent my 60 boosts.

You're right.
Weird, I had 15000 white points (the ones above 100000) disappearing, and I was left with zero.
But, I just received more 30000+ white points from Sleeping Dogs (had all but one achievement) and I'm accumulating points and tokens again.
I just ran six games and received some more points; however, "Upgrade your Boost Meter's capacity or wait until tomorrow to claim your points."
