things are heating up at 343
I give it two weeks before someone has them all
They really arent slowing down huh? It seems like they're planning to add all 600 achievements (+ the new ones for reach) all at once because looking through the SteamDB list, There's Halo CE, 2 and 4 specific achievements alongside several new ones that aren't on Xbox (I assume these are the Reach specific ones)
Man people who want to 100% the game are going to have a hard time. Not only can you not 100% it until all the games are out, but over 600 achievements. Good luck to the brave souls going for that.
Digimon Cyber Sleuth is coming to PC in October, you can start being hyped now!You know what else is weird? I feel like I haven't been truly "hyped" about a game in forever...? It's sad, cuz Square-Enix is my favorite Dev/Publisher, but Babylon's Fall was absent from E3 and FFVIIR is PS4-first for a while...
I kinda feel the same but mostly because I think there is just too much stuff to be hyped for. Its hard to pick any one game. You know what else is weird? Their Japanese users are the reason behind some of this. DQ sells the most in Japan, they need to give people a reason to double dip, sure they could offer DLC but having people full price while managing to sell over 1 million copies sounds better (I'm saying 1 million to play it safe but it could be way more than that). So pissed reading about the additional content for switch version of DQ11. If Square doesn't release that content for Steam users I am gonna boycott everything from that company indefinitely. I mean how can you be so anticonsumer? The 60$ I spent on the game last year is just as green as any 60$ spent by Switch owners.
Like seriously....JP audio, Past worlds content, 2D mode and additional stories/quests for your party members. I mean how in da fuck you not gonna release that for PC/PS4 users? The literal best thing about the core game is your party members and their stories/questlines. Just one of those four new things will make replaying the entire 100hr game worthwhile.
I will give them by the end of the year. If they don't release it as free or low cost dlc I am done with Square. Never buying anything again with their name on it.
Yeah, it sucks that the older version of the game doesn't game updated for all platforms, not just Steam release. If Squenix doesn't release the updated game either as a new game or dlc, I hope that some modder extracts the new content and mod it into the original release. Not sure if it's possible. So pissed reading about the additional content for switch version of DQ11. Sadly they're not the first... an unsuccessful sequel to a successful indie title.i guess Hand of fate 2 wasnt success
the cancelled game looked nic
Is it the game itself that you can't take anymore, or is it the Steam release?I've been dragging myself to finish FF6 today, don't think I can't endure much more of it
by the way, I already have a couple of you guys on my friend list, and always happy to add more Meta peeps.
Such a shame, that teaser looks dope. I loved Hand of Fate but I never got to buying its sequel. There's just simply way, way too many games releasing nowadays. Hopefully those looking for new jobs can land quickly on their feet.i guess Hand of fate 2 wasnt success

I was trying to get a server up with a raspberry pi so that my son could play with his friends. But it seems that rpi is too weak for a MC server. It takes too long time to connect to the server and once connected the server crashes.I've brought up this way back, but why don't we have a Minecraft server!? I miss playing it so much.XD
Yeah can't imagine RPi being that good for that, maybe the newer one. But isn't there better options for that nowadays? Haven't really looked into it but can't one just rent a server directly?I was trying to get a server up with a raspberry pi so that my son could play with his friends. I wasn't aware there's a print version now, how's the quality of the pages and colors? This is one sexy book.
There are dedicated minecraft server host but they cost a monthly fee. I don't want to run a server where no one is joining.Yeah can't imagine RPi being that good for that, maybe the newer one. Just did a quick google and found a site that hosts servers for free. I wonder how they can host servers for free.

This is a great post. I like this post very very much.Just finished Alan Wake, what a fucking great game.
I strongly disagree with this. Whether Epic succeeds or not is mostly dependent on pc gamers accepting or rejecting their strategy based on moneyhatting and crippling other storefronts.None of those games are Tetris Effect. And I am an impatient man.
And as I said, whether Epic succeeds or not is more or less dependent on their own actions. Will they get to becoming a mainline storefront where the silent majority will house their entire library in? At this rate, hell no. And my individual actions will not change that.
I don't even like it when people create an account just for the free games, although it's always up to the individual to decide if they want to. Having an account just for freebies still adds to the number that they can trumpet success about - "we have 10 gazillion users" while of course not saying "but only 8 have actually bought anything".I strongly disagree with this. By buying games on EGS, you're actually telling both Epic and the devs involved that you're fine with this strategy.
Also note how they keep using the word "Epic"
heh , curious to see that with russian F2P pub buying them
lately - even when it's not free ...When something is free, you are the product!
The price point of Hand of Fate 2 has played a part in their downfall when you start adding the price of the different dlc's it's a really expensive game in today's standards. It's sad news because I enjoyed HoF with their particular style of narrative.i guess Hand of fate 2 wasnt success

Other people here played the demo on Oninaki too? It's such a strange game to me. I can feel that the developers are fans of classic JRPGs like Chrono Trigger, but by god does the game feel dry and boring. It's like all the characters are written by robots, no emotion, nothing that feels alive or interesting. The actual gameplay is quite decent, but they'd have to pay me money to endure this utterly boring world.Tokyo RPG Factory pricing in my region:
I am Setsuna - $20 (from $40)
Lost Sphear - $33 (from $50)
Oninaki - $46 (from $45)
This is just one case from one developer/publisher, there are a lot of other examples too. Everyone is really trying so hard to get me out of their potential customer.
Guy seems like a dick and he's overselling way too hard on twitter. If Epic is involved its just shit icing on the cakeAlso note how they keep using the word "Epic"
I've tried the demo. Overall I like what they're aiming for with the combat and gameplay system, like the daemons upgrade and stuff. The world with heavily religious society seems interesting too, and I dig the visuals. However, the game feels cheap at times too with the lack of VA and music most of the time. And with that kind of price that, there's no way I'm getting the game day 1. I'll probably get it way later or sooner if they change their mind about that ridiculous pricing.Other people here played the demo on Oninaki too? It's such a strange game to me. Turned out to be my favorite Fallout, I'd recommend it too.
The game. You see - I completely forgot how JRPGs can be harsh with random encounters and I almost went mad trying to figure the Floating Continent and Locke's Phoenix Cave while dealing with those. I managed to finish it though, but ain't touching a classic JRPG for the next year unless there's a built-in way to stop random encounters. Is it the game itself that you can't take anymore, or is it the Steam release?
