Huh, didn't think broadcasting would impact sales that much but it clearly does. Nice!saw dex and lash post/retweet this:

Yeah, these events and broadcasts are very enjoyable.I'm loving how broadcasting is impacting sales.
As an aside, I hope Arkane working on Youngblood points to Dishonored 3 using id Tech rather than the Avoid Engine. I was fortunate enough to have no issues with 2, even at launch... until I upgraded to a 1080 Ti, because, naturally, having a better GPU means having noticeably worse frame times.
RE2. A masterpiece. So not long left of the year! What is everyone's GOTY thus far?
For me, I think it's either Oxygen not Included or Dota Underlords.

Oxygen not Included
Oh I know! I can't handle them vomiting! Gives me PTSD! So much so that I make sure to never have a clone that stress vomits.XDThis game triggers the hell out of me and I get PTSD. The peons are more irritating then RW (I love RW but its nto really same game). ugh lol.
That would be my GOTY if the gameplay had a bit more of challenge to it :/A Plague Tale Innocence so far, but I haven't played a lot of other games released this year.
A+ for that thumbnail

Reading this made me realize I haven't bought a lot of 2019 releases yet (except for Metro: Exodus, which I'm regretting). So not long left of the year! What is everyone's GOTY thus far?

I guess I just expected something different from it. I think the game is fine but there are moments (like boss battles) that feel underwhelming due to the basic gameplay mechanics.I thought it was not suppose to be something to challenge you, but more of a narrative ?? Watched it with the wife, which is why she loved it so much.

Haha ok yes I'm bummed not being able to play that too!I'm currently playing it. It would be my GOTY so far if RE2 didnt exist![]()
Mordhau followed by Sekiro, but that's because those are the only 2019 games that I played. Or remember playing. However, if late PC ports counts, then Yakuza K2 is my actual GOTY so far.So not long left of the year! What is everyone's GOTY thus far?

Damn, Epic, Koch, Private Division, THQN.Sega please

I think it counts! At least when it comes to the annual MetaSteam GOTY voting this year, The rule is that the game has to have released on Steam this year. However, if late PC ports counts, then Yakuza K2 is my actual GOTY so far.
Great tasteYakuza K2 is my actual GOTY so far.

Sekiro for sure but that is the only new game I played all year long thus far...(not counting Castlevania Anniversary). This has been a backlog year for me. Need to buy some more 2019 stuff later this year during black friday and winter sales. Also need to find some time to fuck around with Gamepass since there are a bunch of new titles in that library. I still haven't bothered with it since MS announced the new app.
Bamco better mean Elden Ring gameplay premiere.
Microsoft Studios better mean MCC release dates.
And yea Epic will most likely announce more moneyhats. I can see them yank Code Vein or Surge 2 off the steam store later in sept since both are releasing 2 days apart.
Also probably moneyhats for next year. Best guess will be Dying Light 2 as their next big title.

I dont see bamco playing ball. They can barely support Steam releases.Sekiro for sure but that is the only new game I played all year long thus far...(not counting Castlevania Anniversary). I really, really hope they waste their money on RDR2.
I’m just expecting a trailer or something for Shadowkeep, nothing major.suprised no one mentioned bungie is on that list
I don't see Rockstar agreeing to it tbh. They make majority of the $$$ with online in those games. They need the biggest playerbase possible to sell stupid gold bars and currency to people. Without Steam they'll legitimately be losing a lot of money. Especially seeing how successful GTAV still is on Steam. The concurrent #s doubled recently with the casino update.
Rip port dream, probably that hero shooter Creative Assembly is doing.
This is nice, I have viewed the broadcasting things as a means for devs to advertise their games (I think there can be some "abuse" here by some devs, that one JRPG inspired games having been on there a lot was always suspicious to me, the fact that almost always had something like 300 people watching it just felt "off"), and if you know how to use it you can get more exposure for your game this way. So Steam is basically giving you a means to have your game stand out from others (making this just another of a handful of ways to advertise your game within the Steam ecosystem).saw dex and lash post/retweet this:
