I hope you turn based lovers put your money where your mouth is when this thing releases :p
giphy.gif

I will when it releases on Steam.

I really don't want to buy any new release on PS4 anymore, it just came to a point where if it's not an first party I don't mind waiting for a PC release.
That's how I feel too. Even with some "supposed" first party games there is still a chance that they release on PC coughcoughdeathstrandingcoughcough

Be sure to add the $2 indie games to your list if you don't need 5 games.
Thanks for that! Insane discounts with that bundle! I guess I know what I'll be doing today :D

So right now I only seem to have a debt of about $3K USD. In theory I should be able to pay it off by January 2020.

I still remember being worried back in 2016 when I had to get my appendix removed, I freaked out since I don't have medical insurance and seeing how I didn't have a job at the time, the prices of what I saw online for the procedure also scared me, oh and on top of it all the Fall semester was about to start at the college that I go to. I was worried that I was going to rack up a whole lot of debt in a short period of time and that I would have to drop out of school. In the end it only cost me $2K USD, I was only charged for the anesthesia and I talked to them later then they then dropped the price to $1K USD since I don't have insurance. It's taken me over 3 years to pay it off and that's mostly because they let me pay it off little by little without adding any extra late fees or stuff like that.

A year later I would go to the dentist and they told me my teeth were in bad shape and that it would cost me over $24K USD to fix them. This is when I basically just dropped out of school and decided to just get a job and pay for that stuff (at this point in time I just lost my motivation in school and didn't really feel like going anymore, that and I had already "failed" this one class three times already). I did take out a "loan" (Credit card for medical expenses) of sorts and because I was able to make the payments on time was not charged any interest at all. Because of the cost I didn't not do the full treatment for my teeth and only a part of it, so I think I have at least done half the treatment at this point and that would mean I have something like $6k-$9k USD left of treatment to be done. And I have to pay off my current $3k USD of debt before I take on the rest of the treatment. I have told myself that after I am done with paying off this debt that I will go back to school.

debt sucks. At least I have a good credit score I guess

released now

released aswell
Hi hi! Harris From Finji here. Here's the differences between the Humble Trove release of Wilmot's Warehouse and the full Steam release:
  • Completely revamped control system - the game is now a lot nicer to play with controller, and we've made lots of small tweaks to all control schemes.
  • Local co-op. Two players can work together. Any save game can be played in single or multi-player, and both players can do all actions - it's up to them to figure out how they're going to organise themselves!
  • Expert Mode: by default the game is gentle and generous. Use Expert Mode to make it harder. Especially recommended for 2 experienced players co-oping together. Any save game can be played in Normal or Expert Mode.
  • We've completely removed the concept of lives and game over. You may still want to start over, if your first warehouse becomes a terrible mess, or you may want to use a stocktake to knock it into shape. It's up to you now.
  • Loads and loads of balancing tweaks - the result of hundreds of hours of playtesting.
  • A couple of new Upgrades, and a complete revamp of the way Upgrades uplock.
  • A new end sequence and a new tutorial
  • Steam achievements and cloud save
  • 1 new stock item! (there are 501 in total)

We spent almost 2 years iterating on the Humble version to make this definitive release version! Hope you enjoy it! Thanks for your patience!

and also this weirdness is out

I am thinking of getting the Gundam Breaker game. I know that it's not good but seeing how it's as low as $7 USD as part of the bundle that's not a bad price. I originally got it at launch but then refunded it seeing how I was getting less than 40fps and some other stuff I can't recall. At the time I had an AMD FX 8320 with a GTX 660 but now I have an AMD Ryzen 2600 with a GTX 1070ti (which is a big step up). Also I was able to redeem the day one DLC and it's still a part of my Steam library and I will have access to it again. I also had issues with the Little Witch Academia game but I think I might get it now.

I would try to buy them again on Steam and then refund but I don't want to abuse the system, especially when I already purchased those games in the past and refunded them

Guess who can warn and report people now :sneaky:

Guess you can tell where they spent all of their budget.
I thought this was a Hearthstone PVP kind of game, but I guess not. Interesting.

It sure does. My situation has some resemblances to yours so it's nice to hear that you've all but dealt with your debt.

NNKII, impact winter, 11-11,, little witch academia, and project cars 2 season pass for $25 was a deal :minos_dealwith:
You remembered me that I still have to play PCars 2 one of these days. Dunno how it plays with a controller though.

Today I finished idling all my 17xx cards. It completely butchered my play time in a lot of games, and I will have to live with '1800 hrs in the last two weeks' showing in my recent activity for sometime. Was it worth? Hell yeah it's not like I would ever boot Franchise Hockey Manager 2014 or Oik 2 otherwise.

So it seems in-store credit earning from purchases on Humble are over. I tried buying for 10% off and didn't get any store credit.
Humble need to update the FAQ for their humble rewards program because that is what has been confusing me; the FAQ data is for the OLD split.

As is, if you're a monthly subber, you get a max. of 20% of any store purchase, but you can lower this discount so that some of the moeny goes towards charity.

Gonna tweet them about this because the FAQ is misleading.

I've been trying to get rid of my copy of that Dead Island Epidemic beta crap by sending a trade request to that bot Trashdump.

The trade is locked for 15 days, then the item is returned to my inventory.
What am I doing wrong?

Does anyone know if GMG has pre-order keys for Bandai games "ready to go"? with SE games you get the keys at launch or close to launch. I am going to get Code Vein and there is a deal right now on GMG where the Deluxe Edition is $15USD off the normal price. I am not sure if it will go lower before the release though. With SE games they will typically be close to at least 20% off during the pre-order period. Also Ni no Kuni still does not have it's store page up and is not up on GMG.
If Bandai does not give the key right away then I will pre-order from GMG and then just refund if the price goes lower

Super Toy Cars 2 is a fast paced arcade racing game where you control miniature cars that speed through amazing tracks made of supersized everyday objects. Outrace and crush your opponents. Fight them up and close or use one of the many power-ups scattered throughout the tracks. Race, fight, crash, jump, play with the objects around the track, alone or with friends. Provoke mayhem! Revive that crazy larger than life feeling of playing with toy cars when you were a kid.

Soon available on Steam Early Access

You know, if I had to pay $2k for the basic surgery like appendix removal I'd probably cut it myself. And $24k for dental work? Were they going to give you platinum teeth? Congrats on paying off this shit man, should feel good.

Remind me to never immigrate to US if I ever have such idea.

Is there a website that has a simulator whether I can check if a motherboard and CPU cooler can fit within a case?

I think PCPartPicker does that. You select the case and GPU/CPU/Motherboard and it’ll tell you if they fit and even if something blocks drive slots or other stuff. I think it works with coolers too.

I honestly can’t keep track of all the stuff releasing between the end of August and the first 10 days of September. From big AAA productions to small indie projects there’s just as insane amount of games. That’s crazy.

You can check GameBillet or WinGameStore where they have it for about $28 off.

I think all of them don't have the keys ready so you should be able to cancel if you don't want it anymore.

Evidently there are multiple bots named Trashdump? I tried another one that was online and the trade was accepted immediately. Weird.

Finally free of that crap that has been littering in my inventory for several years.

  • New Characters – Starting with Gaia, new heroes gather from multiple universes to join the fight.
  • New Storyline and Sub-Scenarios – The battle has not ended… A new story and ending pursuing the truth of the world has been added. In addition, unique sub-scenarios will be available to reinforce the main story.
  • New Mode and Gameplay Experience – New features such as Infinity Mode and the Promotion system have been added. The enhanced gameplay allows players to grow their heroes to their ultimate potential!
  • The Ultimate Musou Exhilaration – Sacred Treasures can now be used by other characters allowing players to create unique and powerful teams, and with the new Musou Switch Combo feature the game will reach ultimate heights in exhilaration.
  • Improved Playability – Part of the UI and control settings have been improved along with additional features to make gameplay easier.

That Bamco BYOB is tempting, but I'm quite honestly not in need of so many new games at once right now, so I'll probably wait until the next one or Monthly or regular bundle.

Must say I'm open for the new turn based Yakuza, though I kinda hope they keep the old system alive for some spin off games. There's no game with combat quite like the old Yakuza games.
Yeah, I'm a huge fan of turn based games, but Yakuza is the last thing I would have touched. Maybe it will turn out good, the screenshot certainly doesn't do it any service.

Still not finished with Kiwami 2 but once I'm at 6 (assuming Sega ports everything to PC) I think I'd be glad for some change.

Also turn based is a great way to show off all the crazy heat action moves. I played like 80 hours of Yakuza 0 and still missed a lot of them.

Can i link my accounts, buy stuff then unlink them?

What?
I bought Bandai games from their promotion yesterday, and still had an option to simply view my keys.

Did they disable this, and you have to redeem directly?

Bloober Teams new game Blair Witch is releasing today on Steam and PC Game Pass.

They have made Layers of Fear and Observer previously. Not sure of Layers of Fear 2, might ba another dev.

Considering consoles, off the top of my mind: Control, Astral Chain, Minoria, Blasphemous, Gears 5, NBA 2K, Blair Witch, A Creature in the Well, Greedfall, Spyro, Knights and Bikes, Man of Medan and probably another billion games I can't remember all between the last week of August and the first 10 days of September (and even more stuff releasing later in the month).

Please send help

Glad they moved Warsaw to October, I was looking forward to that game but it's probably the wisest decision.

It's Friday evening which means it's weekend~! :awwblob:

I wanted to save for a Switch Lite this holiday season, but I remembered today I also need a new phone. Phones are expensive... :face-with-cold-sweat:
If you're into flaghship phones, surely.

I just bought a 'new' (secondhand, bought in June) phone last month. It's the zenfone max pro m2 and I paid $140 for it. It has a decent quadcore cpu, 6gb ram, and 5k battery. It'll last for years in my hands (my previous phone which is also secondhand lasted 4 years). I love the electronic secondhand market in my country. People like to change their stuff so often and the prices fall pretty quickly.

Remember to check for FGO compatibility and to check the list of phones which won’t work with FGO after the engine update

Hmm, switch codes are not that pricey on grey market sites. But then again I could obtain the same price if I bought the physical edition in some online store that have local shops. And with Switch games delirious value I could still sell them back in case of financial troubles.
But then again, that would require going out :face-with-cold-sweat:
