I think we can discuss almost everything on any platform in this thread. Just yesterday we're discussing Fire Emblem. Having said that, it's also important to be aware that corporate bootlicking "Nintendo/Sony/EGS can't do no wrong" etc. is still frowned upon (it's even in the TOS).

Moving on, I brought up the PS4 bc thats my main "AAA" gaming machine due to my computers extreme suckage. (Yes my GPU is seven years old)

I only played a little bit of arma3 MP and mostly mods in mp because honestly it's more a mmorpg style of play style vanilla, not bc of the gameplay of course but you better have a crew/guild and know what you are doing including voice comms if you don't just want to be dead instantly all the time everytime (sometimes after a nice stroll through the scenery). MP is a whole game in itself and deep as an ocean (including Zeus and all the possibilities it's mind-blowing).

But I had really fun with the scenarios, the campaigns and the sandbox alone. Over 100 hours of singleplayer easy. And I'm not finished with it, haven't started the new dlc yet. Honestly it's crazy how much entertainment over the years I got out from that game.

On the other hand, if you bounced off A2 it's not a sure bet you'll get that much out of it (but 12 bucks is also cheap).

I really don't need console games in here if it's not emulation related honestly, and I feel those would be better in an emulation thread. Emu news in here are totally cool of course.

Well people talk about TV shows, movies and switch games a lot in the Steam threads so I don't see why playstation would be off limits.

Play Bloodborne, it's an awesome game. Sadly it's held back by the PS4. If we are lucky maybe it will get a PS5 patch or something? (Which I have doubts of) That game has a great art direction...but all that shimmering

I don't know how to explain it but English dubbed anime at times "sounds weird" and in a way you might expect the same in video games. The English VA in FE 3H seems to fit and I don't have any issues with it. I'm guessing that English dubbed anime just sounds very "echoey" or something? Or maybe that's just the way Funimation does their dubbs?

Monooboe Do not get me started! Love Moleskine stuff and i love fountain pens even though my writing looks like a drunken spider's crawled across the page or looks like an 8 year old's writing all large letters and no caps. lol.

I love the Stationery/Fountain Pen thread on Era 💕

Haha yes! I love fountain pens too, I only write with one, Thats why I didn't use Moleskin before, I only tried their normal notebooks and they aren't very good for fountain pens, but their art line is great for it.

Also yeah me too, my writing is horrible, often that I can't even read what I've written haha!

I had to sign a lease for my new apartment the other day and they asked for my signature and awful is definitely a generous description of how it looked...

When I was in first grade, I had a negative grade the first time I had to copy a text, not because of errors in my writing, but because the teacher couldn't understand most of the text. :grinning-face-with-smiling-eyes:

I can make readable writing if I write slowly, and take my time.
But, I keep writing extremely fast, and I don't even properly form the letters.

I'm glad most of my work is done in a computer. ;)

heh, yeah
i had liek quite understandable handwriting up until i had summer job in a plastic closures factory, where i had to put a sign and date on each box when it was full andwas in charge of +- 5 machines.... and the machines filled the boxes in 2-5 minutes - so by the end of that summer job my signature and hadwriting was sketchy mess

And yeah, Moleskin notebooks are the shit. I bought one for Secret Santa last year and it was so cool.

I know they mentioned other platforms when it first came out, but it's weird if any exclusivity agreements dissolved before release. Or if there actually never was any agreement and Sony was getting ahead of themselves, but I don't think that would go down.

Sony owns the IP. But PC was mentioned in a deleted medium article when it was first announced.

For DS to be EGS exclusive, I think that only would be possible by Epic basically covering the dev cost for the game plus other licensing things for the actors. If they paid $120m for Division 2, this one would be what, 500m?

You know money's no object in these situations.

I am starting to wonder if Epic actually does have some special relationship with Sony regarding their exclusive titles. We haven't seen any Switch exclusive third-party games go on EGS, like No More Heroes or Daemon Ex Machina.
 
Did something change with Steam Workshop?

I got 8 games where the workshop updated with 0kb files.

Well, if Sony wants to fuck with MS on the PC platform, Tim is their man. They only have to license the games, or merge their Now service with the EGS (good luck lmao). Stadia will be a non issue but might as well have that covered, too.

1 - releases on PS4
2 - 6-8 months later it releases on Steam/EGS or epic tries to get a timed exclusivity on this one too.
3 - 12 months later it releases on Steam (if exclusivity happens) and PS5 version with addons.

No they don't, all the previous Sony exclusive games have appeared on EGS for different reasons.
Journey - Published by Annapurna so they got in via publisher
QD games - Self-published and made a deal for 12 months.

Sony as themselves doesn't have anything with Epic.

Yes, those games were coming to PC regardless. But I still see the commonality and am thinking that Sony and Epic struck a deal for Sony's properties to be restricted to EGS.
But if Death Stranding was going to be a timed exclusive but no longer is, that's something different. We'll need to see this unfold.
