I've already told myself I'd wait for Control until next year but jeez that's such a good deal. Why do you have to tempt me like that.

Frankly, I'm not advocating for piracy but that way developers don't see a single penny from your purchase anyway and at the same time you'll be playing on a platform you don't like. The only party earning anything from that is Epic (one more player on their platform). So yeah...

My stance is that pirating an eggscloosie really isn't worth it because there are a gajillion other great games to spend time with that are available on platsform of my choice and deserve the money.

Yes, that's mine as well. I was just pointing out that purchasing that bundle for cheap on ebay is most likely no different from pirating the game for the devs. Epic would probably be the only one having some sort of profit from that.

It looks like any The Bard's Tale IV Kickstarter backers who redeemed their backer keys on Steam should be seeing the Digital Deluxe version of the Director's Cut in their Steam account and library. I know I got mine.

Sorry if I'm misunderstanding, but I have not backed the game and the DC has been on my Steam game list for weeks.

Edit - OKKKK, the Digital Deluxe version !
I should get back to school for some reading course :crying-face:

Is there no preload for Bard's Tale IV DC? The game launches in a few hours, right?
Looks like there isn't. Glad to have been able to read and answer someone correctly. Thanks :drinking-blob:

Uh, 29gb, I share your pain.

seems like Frostpung follows the suit of TWoM (SP after consolke release)

Season Pass grants access to all upcoming Frostpunk content in this season, including immediate access to The Rifts DLC and two major expansions (The Last Autumn and Project TVADGYCGJR) coming in 2019 and 2020.

Releasing DLC right with your game coming out of EA? Risky. But 100% cosmetic so no biggie.

I downloaded and installed Close to the Sun, Observation and Sinking City, mostly as a #fuckyou but also because I was mildly interested in them. Then I kept buying stuff on Steam and forgot about them, should really uninstall.

This thing may have happened to a, uh, friend. Time is a priceless currency these days.

No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I guess I may need to pirate some games then since this may mean that I will have no legal way to buy Super Robot Wars and SD Gundam for PC in the US.

What countries is the game available in? You can try and find someone in that country to buy it for you and gift you the game.

To coincide with the console releases, the big Wreckfest update is finally live on PC.

Not all PS2 games were made equally pretty looking

I think I've onle ever bought 1 EA game, Bright Memory, because it looks like it'll be a fun, pretty looking game. Other than that, I noped out of buying EA and episodic games after Blues and Bullets (which I enjoyed a lot) died before it was finished.

I haven't bothered to download EGS exclusives, there are plenty of other great games to (re)play. The only game I've recently downloaded is Dead Space, but that is because I own the retail version and I don't have a DVD-player in my pc anymore.

After 3 hours of Control I think I'm feeling it :thumbsupblob: RTX is b-e-autiful

Sure, the more collections we have the better.

Heard that Konami?
Yeah I'm really glad that we got a "core" Castlevania collection but it's pretty lame that the collection with the two best Castlevania games of their kind was only released on PS4. They should really release that one on Steam and add both of the GBA and DS trilogies to it.
well they're already working on the next Castlevania one

Steam has made me far to used to good service and having the game well connected to the larger community, with guides and steady updates. Pirating anything, besides the legal aspect, is just a hassle at this point.
Not only that.

I feel like I've made my presence on Steam. I've made lots of friends, built up my library, posted tons of content, and a lot of reviews. Steam unconsciously made me want to avoid pirated games because they won't add to my stats and I feel like I'm wasting time playing them. Furthermore, I obviously can't show people that I'm playing games that are not in my library, because that means that I'm pirating. So yeah, Steam basically prevents me from pirating games.

Did Tim replied to DARQ dev yet ?
I heard that he supposedly did and said some along the lines of congratulations on you success and this is the reason we wanted your games on EGS, since we knew it would sell well.

Given Tim's personality I would not be surprised if that was true. Stating the reason why the were going after the game in the first place

What's with the long name?

You know you can change that Capcom
