not sure this is the place to ask but does anybody know where I can get Diablo II cheaper than Battlenet has it up for? Thanks! and...Happy Holidays to everybody !
According to IsThereAnyDeal, nah. Doesn't speak for the more grey sites, but the usual ones we gamble with don't even have a listing for D2. You're better off buying it right off Bnet.
Today will be the day I'll finally finish Dragon Quest 11.
Sooo close to the end.
Hello to you as well!
Your avatar features my favourite Christmas movie, so![]()
If you are interested in older RPGs, and don't own them already, there's a few releases on GOG currently on sale that you may want to give a look (a number of games based on Dungeons & Dragons, the Lands of Lore series, ...).So far my only Christmas purchase is Baldurs Gate 2 Enhanced Edition on GOG. I wanted a game that is playable on my non-GPU Macbook. Pillars technincally works on this machine, but it's very slow and not fun to play at all. I also don't think it will accept my PC saves from Steam cloud. I bought Tyranny and Nomunera last year for the same purpose and performance was lacking, espacially on Nomunera which was as good as unplayable because of massive visual bugs.
Anyway, I bought the enhanced edition even though I already own the original version on GOG for its QOL improvements. The interface looks good and the touchpad works as expected with scrolling, zooming, and using multitouch to move the camera. The game starts without scaling as default which made it hilariously impossible to see anything on a high resolution screen.
The Muppets Christmas Special doesn't have Gizmo and Phoebe Cates, so it loses. The Muppets Chirstmas Special is the greatest christmas film, primarily for this
It's possible to get a pc save to work with the Mac version. There is a site where you can access your steam saves and download which you want, rename and import. Can't remember the site, it's steam but can't find the one I mean.So far my only Christmas purchase is Baldurs Gate 2 Enhanced Edition on GOG. I wanted a game that is playable on my non-GPU Macbook. I already own a bunch of older RPGs like all the Ultimas on GOG, but I wanted to play something that plays better on modern interfaces, hence the enhanced edition instead of the original. I've also never played BG2 much more than a few opening quests in Amn. I've always been more into the Icewind Dales than BG. I also have a theory that the native version of BG is more friendly toward my weak hardware than dosbox emulation. If you are interested in older RPGs, and don't own them already, there's a few releases on GOG currently on sale that you may want to give a look (a number of games based on Dungeons & Dragons, the Lands of Lore series, ...).
I linked to them on a previous post:
Deals - Deals, Sales, Bundles... Regret!
It's weird that the saves aren't compatible by default. You'd think that's one of the advantages of using Unity. What is ATLAS? It has over 37k players but the reviews are mostly negative
It's just a dude playing clarinet while pole dancing. Not nsfw at allThat first one is so risque but I'm so tempeted to send it to a girl I know in her upcoming bday.
Damn you deques for tempting me but I do like to watch the world burn. In this case mine world.

Thinking of grabbing these two, because Horror games would totally thematically fit for christmas, right?
Save 46% on The Blood-Soaked Bundle on Steam
Funny thing is that I was thinking of buying them individually and didn't even now there was a bundle exactly for them. If that isn't a sign I don't know what is.
(And yeah, I know there are free versions of them, but I prefer buying games and having them in my Steam library with cheevos and cards and the community stuff over playing them for free, lol).

What can I say, I like convenience and having a 'definitive' version. When I see a free game that I'm interested in and has a Steam version, my train of thoughts is something like: I could play this for free -> If I like it I want to support the developer -> So I'll buy the Steam version -> it has achievements and cards and stuff -> But I'm very likely not going to play it a 2nd just for that -> I'll just buy the Steam version and play it once with everything.Steam makes you pay for free games? wow. Epic store can't come soon enough.
Yeah, they have a really wide range of pretty cool stuff.I love AGM Playism's Steam selection. Very happy to have this publisher on PC.
The title screen theme is also really cool.
