No in P5 all you get is a Rise poster in the background (and room decoration? I forgot) and that's that
There are also posters of Kanami and if you check the tv every day you'll see Naoto or Inaba being mentioned but these are very small things you only pick up on if you played P4.

latest report on Empire of Sin:

  • it is very buggy (I managed to get the same character stuck in different bugged animations 3 times now)
  • It is also very fun
  • the voice acting kinda sucks (and the game repeats a lot of lines)
  • the RPG part is cool, and the interactions between your gangsters are very neat (they can like or hate people from the gangster list, and depending on who you recruit, that can have consequences)
  • it seems that diplomacy is kinda not very useful, unless you just want a few quick cash injections. War seems a lot more conductive to results otherwise
  • the combat is very XCOM and I like that

I have still a 10$ coypon on Stadia and I don't know what to use it on. Preferably something only on Stadia and that I haven't finished/played before (this excludes Gylt and Get Packed) and something that makes me not spend much at all (meaning preferable as close to 10$ as possible).

So far there is

NBA2k21
One Hand Clapping
Lost Words: Beyond the Page (has a Steam page and costs 15$ so probably not getting this)

It's not like I will touch the game Im getting, I just want to use that coupon.

Labyrinth of Galleria bombed in Japan. PS4 version barely charted FW, Vita was (unsurprisingly) completely AWOL.

It's such a good follow-up so far, so that's... disappointing. Hopefully it does well when/if it gets localized!

...if you haven't played Labyrinth of Refrain yet, and are at all into DRPGs, you should get on that!
I have Labyrinth of Refrain still sealed for Switch and i haven't got around to it yet. It's at the top of the pile tho.
I went through a Dungeon Blobber phase a while ago and picked up a ton of great crawlers in sales over a few months.
I'm basically set for life as far as crawler/blobbers are concerned :D.

This humble monthly is pretty good one!

These Zwei games look pretty dope, any recommendations on which one should I start?
Zwei: The Arges Adventure is the first one, as Li Kao mentioned. I had a blast playing it, I will do some shameless self-promotion and link the review I wrote :cold-sweat::grinning-face-with-smiling-eyes:

Asides from Disgaea don't NIS game not do that good in Japan? And NISA is the main reason that NIS is still around other wise NIS may have already gone under some time ago?

Or is there some other business venture that NIS has on the side that I don't know about?

I presume this was about an spanish thing about kojima, am I right? :evilblob::evilblob::evilblob:
What's was it?

It does, I canceled my ultimate just a few days ago. Today I bought a 12 month gold and when redeeming the code I got one extra month, then I went and subscribed to ultimate again, I had to pay full price for the one month but it then converted my 13 months of gold to ultimate, so in total I have 14 months.
Hopefully I can do something like this. During Black Friday I ended up getting a year of Ultimate for around $88USD since Best Buy was selling 3 month cards for $22USD each.

I wonder if I can get a year of so of gold for cheap and then convert. I didn't go that path since I thought that they ended that offer some time ago.

So now I have 1 year of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, 1 year of PS Now, and one 1 of Nintendo Online Family membership. I just need PS+ now any good deal on that?

People getting all hyped for Persona 5 Scramble need to be more clear that this is still a Musou game! Even if it's a story sequel, it's a Musou game! Even if they are modifying the mechanics to be more like Persona (like they did for Age of Calamity), it is still a Musou game. It's not a Persona 5 rpg sequel. Its a Persona 5 Musou game/sequel.

Which means I am instantly skeptical and will be waiting for reviews and the game to be out before I jump in.

I would be more interested in playing P5R on PC but this musou sequel has me feeling sus. Gonna wait.
Musou games are great though

MS buys KojiPro
Sure its fake and all of that. But after the whole Death Stranding thing I wonder what SIE feels about KojiPro.

How many copies did that game sell on PS4? I would imagine that the announcement might have played a role in those number but not by a huge amount and if the amount of copies is small on PS4 it might just have something to do with the gameplay. It seems that on PC the reception was better since that "type" of game is sort of what you would find on there vs on console. Where I now that some people wonder why simulator games are even popular.

I know that Kojima likes to use big make actors and how that cost a lot of money and if MS wanted to give him a lot of money to make games sure and all of that.

But if anything does happen it will likely be SIE that purchases them since Kojima does want KojiPro at some point to make movie that will hit theaters and stuff from what I recall and Sony has Columbia and they also started that one PS Movie division as well.

I think I'll finish up Mutant YZ tonight. I think it's a good startegy game, but the late game is mostly High HP baddies who can be beaten in 6 or so attacks, with the mechanical making life hell, but eh divide and conquer, let them chase you and position yourself to take them out one by one.

If you haven't played an XCOM style game before, this might be one that can help you prepare for XCOM EU/XCOM 2. For one thing the hit % chance is pretty simple (at least on Normal); 0, 25, 50, 75 and 100% and its stealth concept is decent for the most part.

If there is a major negative to the game, it'd be that it is SLOW; you and enemy movement is absurdly slow.

So by default, the bolded makes it a big step up from his magnum opus and his best game in 25 years?
Sounds like it needs a couple patches to become the game it truly could be at the moment, but there's definitely something there?

Me: I have this huge backlog of games on many platforms, new games and classics alike that I want to play. Also someone from my family gifted me Cyberpunk because they did the research on what big games are coming out and since I like games they thought it might a present I appreciate (and I appreciate the thought that went in :blushblob: ). So my gaming needs are met for when I am done with Demon's Souls

Also me: What if I bought Dragon Quest XI: Definitive Edition and play through the game again instead?

Yup, there's definitely something there. It's not super complex, but I was looking for something like this (more focused and with less "distractions")
Hopefully they'll patch the bugs out.

I am pretty sure that Brenda Romero was the lead on this project.

Since this is a project published by Paradox I would expect plenty of patches and DLC.

Playing DQ XI on game pass. Glad that its enough time since I played it on Switch that it doesnt feel exhausting to replay. I was like 30 hours in so I have some catching up to. Also nice that I think it has cross save to xbox, so when I get my Series S I can continue there! My macbook cant really run it that smoothly.

I have been a little put off by something I read. More like just skimmed. Don't even remember where, maybe a Steam review.
The thing said a lot of the management part of the gameplay was rendered null because you just have to attack a mob boss to win his neighborhood, or something again, it's hazy.
Is there strategic value, is the management good, or is it indeed just a matter of attacking everything in sight ?

I've bought several games on Stadia so far: PAC-MAN battle royale for $10, Doom 64 (Own it on Switch and Steam already) for $1, UNO for $6, The Division 2 for $8, NBA2k21 for $10, Ghost Recon Wildlands for $15, and Breakpoint for $10. I think I'll be getting future Ubisoft games on the service.

Why would you buy something you already own elsewhere?

I went over to RPS for the first time in a month or so, and was surprised to see how low the activity was in the comments section. Lots of articles with sub-10 comments, and even the advent calendar posts only mustered about 50 comments.

I wonder if they have lost a lot of their readers.

Let me guess....That Cyberpunk thread became your tomb huh ?

You should have known better than to be level headed on resetera. Either bow to the mob or be expelled.

Yeap, I got tired of mods sitting on 2 chairs and called them out and somehow that means that I ignore CDPR issues (even though I literally recommend them way to inform users about those issues without users being able to ignore it).

Also if someone here has issues with what I said there please tell me, maybe I really was wrong.
