What is the 1 out of 10?

Watching people realize that Greg Miller is shill is so funny. But I still think that he is nothing compared to Andrea Rene.

Also I went back and continued my Ghost Recon Wildlands playthrough. It is kinda most satisfying boring game ever XD
I remember watching this one video after the Game Awards where she was Interviewing the EX Halo devs that are working on a PVE game set in some snow place.

She had a co host that person seemed to be much more enthusiastic and a lot of what Andrea was saying sounded very "fake" like she didn't really care. Which I do think is a shame because like a said the other person did seem very enthusiastic about a number of topics.

It seems that Yakuza 3 - 6 remastered will release simultaneous in Japan

I wonder what happened, because Gamespark asked SEGA about it and they said NO that Japan would not be getting the games. This was about 1-2 weeks ago that they said that.

Do we know if SEGA has some kind of exclusivity deal in Japan with Sony, so these games only get released on Playstation there?

Some of the comments in the article mention that may be the case

And it does look like a decent amount of people we're not happy especially with how the other Yakuza games you can play on PC.

And in their new article Gamespark even mentions how SEGAs new announcement contradicts what they told them a week ago.

Speaking of Ubisoft smaller games, I started playing Starlink too thanks to the recent giveaway, and it's actually pretty good?

You get into action right from the get go. There are resources gathering too, but they're not as robust as NMS. You can also explore the whole planet (by hovering or flying) and jump between planets with the hyperdrive seamlessly. Another contrast difference is that there are actual characters and story in Starlink, as well as quests. You can choose between the available ships and customize the weaponry as you wish or depending on the situation. And just like Ubisoft games, there are lots of "outposts" to conquer for loots. Oh, and the ship combat is fun.

It's like a more fun and action-ey version of No Mans Sky.

Andrea defended Anthem even after it was released. She will never admit that she was wrong. Greg is similar but he sometimes do admit he is wrong. All in all they are bigger shills than half of YouTubers and Twitch streamers who get regularly accused for shilling XD

And regarding Wildlands and Ubisoft games in general. In Wildlands they got core gameplay loop right and it feels somewhat satisfying to clear outpost without raising alarm or anyone noticing. But in the other hand because everything is "systemic" (it never is in Ubisoft games because that would require advanced AI and AI in Ubisoft games is basically this group will walk around this area and this one will walk here, add to that variousother issues too) often doing that is not possible so you end up in situations that are not your fault and that is frustrating. And no matter how good is core gameplay loop doing it for 100th time gets boring. Add to the list lack of proper mission design (and did i mention AI that socks?) And you get bored fast.

For example game tells you to steal moving vehicle, you put damn helicopter or the huge armored SUV in the middle of the narrow road and NPC that it is driving car doesn't stop, it rams vehicle that is blocking the road until their car explodes and mission fails.

But it is relaxing to play because it is mindless shooter set in beautiful location.

So obviously some games can qualify for multiple categories as RDR2 and Doom Eternal did here.

Glad to see Hades got a nod as it deserves it, but it will get destroyed here by the legions of RDR2 fans. Ah well. At least I feel confident that Doom Eternal WON'T win that group.
Damn. I guess RDR2 is just that huge that even with votes split, it could qualify for two.

Ubisoft really had a good run there for a little while. Wish they'd try more stuff like Rayman, Child of Light, Grow Home, Valiant Hearts, etc. Surely they have plenty of resources to allocate to small games.
This. At that time, Ubisoft was my favorite publisher. How low did they fall since then. :(

We can go back even further to the beggining of the 2000's and still find a great period for Ubi with things like BGE, PoP, Splinter Cell.
Their downfall can be traced to FC3, when they started applying the AssCreed formula to every single one of their releases. It's a small miracle that during that timeframe things like Grow Home or Rayman released at all.

I feel like Fenyx Rising would have had serious legs on Steam, with a ton of positive reviews and whatnot. Back to forgetting it exists until it's given away for free.

The deluxe edition is cheaper here for those who want the complete game

IndieGala has 15% cheaper when using crypto money, how does it work? Do I have to pay with crypto coins, or does the extra discount work with crypto connected debit card?

I started Wasteland 2.

What ? I have to create four fucking characters (yeah, I know, the pre-generated...) ? Allocate points in a decently sized skill tree ? Read all the fucking info bubbles to invest points where I want them to be ?
And this is the extant of skin I have to make my character ? (abysmal)
And you seriously put 10 or so portraits ? (laughable)
Oh, and thanks for the non subbed intro too.
And by the way, for a sequel so distant from the first game, this feel awfully like someone who played the first would have a far better grasp of the world.

I hate Wasteland 2 !
...
Play for some time, do some skill check, resolve a conflict with dialog.
...
I love Wasteland 2 !

I still have doubt about the viability of my team when they will have to fight a real fight and not a giant toad. They can't hit for shit, ammos and stimpack look expensive, I have no idea how I will put my skill points when leveling up too (toaster !, I have to put point in toasters !)

Nah, knowing how Sakurai acts on screen, I think he is just joking.
I don't think the spirit of the joke is really well-conveyed in the middle of the hatefest the game is in :/. It feels like more of the same, and I expect better from professionals for whom the reality of gamedev is known.

Ah yes, when I think Soviet Republic, I think of great airport construction, a blooming tourist industry and of course beautiful attractions made from their own produced aluminium industry.
Why did that place go bankrupt?

Finji better put Wilmots Warehouse on sale. I liked what I played of it on EGS (freebie) and they also put it on game pass, but none of them supports cheevos for it. It's maddening. That's another complaint of mine for EGS, there is no info on the store page of a game if the game has cheevos or not, so you actually have to hunt down info on the net if a game has cheevos on EGS or you have to buy it yourself and find out.

Actually, the fact that cheevos on game pass is 50/50 chance is stupid as hell. Also the fact that the vast majority of games on game pass doesn't track time played like with FH4 is annoying as hell.

Yeah, Wasteland 2 is a slow burn. Things are pretty scarce and more challenging in early game, especially with all the micromanagement. But as you get more skills and better weapons and ammos, it'll get more manageable mid-game. It's also a kickstarter game so things are quite janky. But it's a great cRPG.
