I have less games visible in my library than the total count by over 100. I’ve got a bunch of them hidden. Actually pulled out a few games from the hidden category not too long ago that I ended up enjoying, e.g. the Blackwell series. Even ended up buying the games I didn’t own yet. A pretty fun P&C adventure game series.

Huh... According to my profile I'm at 1497, so I guess this next sale I will probably reach the 1.5k mark.

I stopped getting bundles some time ago. Didn't think it was worth it to keep adding all those unwanted games that I would never play.

Instead, with the very rare Humble Choice exception I buy each game separately.... and end up not playing a lot of them anyway....

My Steamy count is 2158. So many trash bundles, I actually ended up deleting some bundle crap from my library not too long ago. But there's so much left still.

Yet another new Horizon Zero Dawn update on the works.

Please fix the LOD tied to DLSS input resolution.
They have been pretty good at listening to feedback and considering how quickly this was discovered by the community, I think it might be this exactly. Or any other bugs that may have cropped up with the patch, otherwise it would have probably been the last patch (again).

I'm around 1250 for games (depending which part of Steam you ask), I feel like it wasn't that long ago I "only" had 600-700.

Downunder.
My games inventory count is only 789, but that's mainly because after the first few years I gave up on collecting just for the sake of collecting. :flare_mogu:

I have every intention to play every single one I've collected so far, but retirement is still years away. :flare_lmao:

Anyone else feel bad when they get a GOG email? "Hey, this game (you own on Steam) on your wishlist is only $25.99!" or "Here's an exclusive coupon just for you! 20% off some game you've gotten in a bundle back in 2017." Why do I even have an active wishlist.

Finished up Infinite's campaign and it was really good. I think the reviewers got it right. Its around a 9 out of 10. Could have used a little bit more enemy variety but it made up for it with some fun boss fights. A few reminded me of some of the Cyberpunk and DeusEX bosses for some reason heh. There was some frame rate dips in the open world as well so it could use some performance patches. The interior part of the game was excellent. A nice campaign expansion next year should make the game even better.

But yea the whole game was basically Far Cry + Halo + Spider-Man :D

Gameplay and presentation was great. Loved the music/audio too.

Also the ending credits were really long. Like Witcher 2/3 long wtf. 343 got so much support help it looked like biggest fucking mess of a project. Really ambitious across the board. The year delay must have gotten it in good shape. I can't imagine what the game will be like if you subtract a year of polish.

Oh great, Twitch Prime Gaming is now giving NFTs away for some game.

I noticed this in the morning and my eyes rolled so far back in my head that they've time traveled to 1853. The gaming industry is just unironically adopting this stuff aren't they?

Fucking hell man I know I'm just an old man yelling at clouds at this point but who in the world is actually excited for this shit? Is there a cult of NFTs that is somehow comparable to the Church of Crypto which has diehard faithfuls involved? To me it seems like the NFT space has 2 kinds of people; a small amount of grifters making money on 'limited (but not really) exclusive digital items' and the rest of the internet clowning on anyone who partakes. Like who the fuck is actually seriously thinking "I must have that numbered Ubisoft helmet cosmetic item which will have monetary value in some convoluted way"?

The strange thing is that this isn't even that far removed from the Steam community market. Steam games have ingame items. Some are limited or rare. They have 'monetary' value if you consider the Steam market currency as money. So people do buy and exchange and value digital items. It's all one step away from the whole NFT thing and yet NFTs just feel so much more sleazy. As if their reason to exist is to be an item of value to make someone money and not to be a cool ingame item that you would like to have. I don't understand any of this and I'll be staying away from it.

So Wizardry The Five Ordeals goes into early access on the 17th December.

at release only the ui will have English translations, with the scenarios getting translated as EA progresses.

in addition to this the scenario editor will not launch until the end of next year (if I am reading right, maybe not at all)and it not be on steam or support steam workshop. This is to help facilitate a potential multi platform release.

Do you mean Bad Day LA?

Or, better yet, drop the price on storage over 1TB so that these requirements are easier to handle. I wouldn't care so much about 160GB if 4TB of SSD storage wasn't $$500-600 CAD, but with only a 1tb for games...
Still, you have to download all that data and even with fast internet, that takes awhile.
I remember downloading GTA V back when I had 10 MBit internet, back in the beginning when it waas "only" 66 GB. Took me 2 whole days of uninterrupted downloading. Thankfully, I've increased my internet speed since then.

Thats why my GOG wishlist only has GOG exclusive games, like Warcraft I+II, Metal Gear & Metal Gear Solid. Still would prefer them on Steam, of course, but some publishers think old games go only on GOG...

I mean I love GOG a lot more than most people probably ( I made the poorly updated OT) I usually make my wishlist stuff that is GOG only and then games i know I want to play like a long time down the long so I try and grab them as a DRM free version or if it's just a better deal I figure skip it but then I get antsy and get it on both steam/gog so whatever

I mostly do that with like RPGs and stuff that are like OoO neat and cool

Random thought of the morning

what the heck happened with Deadly Premonition 2 coming to pc?
Nothing, it simply was noted in the official Q report of Thunderful publisher and that's it, if it's coming it sure won't be this year, however, Rising Star has been MIA and Thunderful won't say a thing, so yeah, we just don't know.

I'm not finding Wasteland 3 nearly as good as I thought I would judging by the reviews and praise it got but I have to admit the jokes are random stuff you find are pretty entertaining.

Wasnt it an EGS 'scloosey game?

My wishlists dont tend to overlap and i prefer gog anyway. I only feel bad that i cant always buy the games when theyre on sale all the time

No, in fact it was slated as "Deadly Premonition 2 - Steam Edition" in the official documents.
We simply don't know if the project is still a thing or not.

I think a fundamental difference between how all these companies approaches indie devs depends on who they have to answer to. MS, Sony, Ninty, Epic (despite being private) all have investors and shareholders making their creative freedom worse in how they approach small indie devs. Valve being private and self-funded only have to answer to the customers.

I have a sudden urge to play Gwent again. If only I was any good at building decks.
Have you played Thronebreaker? That has a lot of neat puzzle battles where you're provided with a premade deck and then need to think about how to satisfy victory conditions using them. Really fun.
