... no, not soon. It's been several months since anyone got the card I signed up for, the 3080 XC3 Black, was probably sometime back in August.Danke! Looking at that, people that got in the queue for the same card three days before I did are getting their cards. Soon...
You can check here. There is a guy by the name of enewt who has been doing his best to keep track of the queues for all the 30 series cards.
Ah yeah... I regret looking in here and finding out they are still a year+ behind on normal 3080's. Holy fuck. I always joked, "Nvidia will release 4xxx before 3xxx become readily available" but I mean... it's not looking like a joke anymore huh?... no, not soon. Yeah... I've got a $1500 final check coming in from my last job, from PTO I never used before they benched me, and I was itching for something nice to spend some of that on. Oh well.Ah yeah... I've had 3080 money stashed away for over a year now, literally just sitting on this money. And I just can't get one... >_<
EVGA limited the queues that you can be in to two. Also they said that they are mainly getting stock on the "Ultra" cards now.Yeah... Sigh.EVGA limited the queues that you can be in to two. Also they said that they are mainly getting stock on the "Ultra" cards now.
Edit: Actually scratch the XC3 Ultra Gaming 3080. That card hasn't moved since September 2020.
Gold for me. I have a lot of nostalgia for it but I also think it's a genuinely great RPG with a perfect amount of content. What's everyone favorite Pokemon game?
Fire Red. Granted that I did not play that many Pokemon games. I just don't like newer pokemon designs. What's everyone favorite Pokemon game?
Hearth Gold or B&W 2 (Post game in B&W2 is awesome)What's everyone favorite Pokemon game?
I didn't plan to play Yakuza over the weekend, but after your post, I'm a bit curious about how Yakuza 3 look like with HDR.Unfortunately I'm starting to get Yakuza fatigue, although it's probably my fault for playing them all back to back x_x
PocketMonster Black and White are just amazing!!!!!What's everyone favorite Pokemon game?
Platinum was the last one I played as a kid, I remember liking it.What's everyone favorite Pokemon game?

Sega had a wild way of just sampling media like this. I knew about the Kevin "Hello?" but didn't know the wholesale Home Alone rip they had going on.
Pokemon Blue. I was already pretty old when it released, but it was still real neat as a new concept. I've been craving a return to basics, but Temtem are just too ugly. What's everyone favorite Pokemon game?

2 days left.Steam winter sale soon?
This would have been my "get some stuff for the Deck" sale.2 days left.
There should be a Chinese New Year sale at the end of January, the discounts for that sales is pretty big too IMO.This would have been my "get some stuff for the Deck" sale.
...I might still buy some. It's been a hot minute since I got a new VN to read (also because I've been waiting for the Deck).
I'm particularly itching to get Baldr Sky and considering that it's like a 100 hour monster and there are no "big" sales between Winter and March (that's when I think I'll get my Deck) I might as well get it now and already start a bit
These past few years, I've bought more from the CNY Steam sale than the proper winter sale, more discounts on games I actually want (for some reason). There should be a Chinese New Year sale at the end of January, the discounts for that sales is pretty big too IMO.
I've also got Baldr Sky in my "to play" queue, owned it for a long ass time. The prospect of a future Steam Deck has absolutely kneecapped all progress in getting through my massive VN backlog, I always think "dang, I could be playing this relaxing in bed!"I'm particularly itching to get Baldr Sky and considering that it's like a 100 hour monster and there are no "big" sales between Winter and March (that's when I think I'll get my Deck) I might as well get it now and already start a bit
By all means, buy accessories to make the experience more comfortable, but in my opinion VR should not be done in long sessions. It strains your eyes a lot and having that thing stuck to your face for long periods is super uncomfortable. My threshold is 30-40 mins or so. If I'm playing Beat Saber I can barely manage 3 songs or so before I get tired. I don't know how people do super long sessions of that or any VR game honestly.Don't think I can do more than one hour long sessions at a time, though. Maybe I will look into upgrading the Quest 2 a bit, with the more comfortable backstrap, it does get a bit hard to wear when you near the one hour mark.
Every few years I buy the Pokemon game and tell myself "This is the time I'll give it an honest attempt and try to see why this series is so popular".I've never played a Pokemon game.
And probably never will.
Why isn't their best console not shown or ever mentioned?
The one that had an aligator starter, can't remember which one was it. I believe it had some sort of tree blocking the way fairly early in the game. What's everyone favorite Pokemon game?
I think Legend Arceus will be my first Pokemon game. Pretty excited about it.I've never played a Pokemon game.
And probably never will.
Yeah same for me. An hour tops is about what i can do/like to do in VR. Its a bit better with the Index as i find it a bit more comfortable than the Vive but its still not great for anything over an hour.By all means, buy accessories to make the experience more comfortable, but in my opinion VR should not be done in long sessions. Emerald is my favorite entry. What's everyone favorite Pokemon game?
Same. Never saw the appeal. And it was on a Nintendo console too.I never played a Pokémon game either. I have no real reason as to why, I think I didn’t care about it at first and once there were too many games it felt too much to get into.
That's interesting to hear. It's been my very first session with a headset, side from trying some of the short demos that Quest 2 has. Hour long sessions aren't far removed from how I play normal games too, so not a big issue. I will see if a more comfortable headset might make the overall experience more comfortable.By all means, buy accessories to make the experience more comfortable, but in my opinion VR should not be done in long sessions. It's a great feeling isn't it? Knowing you've got games tucked away for years to come (if ever)Now that I am fully working and having a good paycheck, Im planning to pick a bunch of games Im gonna play in 2024.
