I tried Scourgebringer though Gamepass. Seems to be a fun game. It was difficult at first, but after learning the controls and playing a while it got a little easier. I managed to beat the first level
I'm hyped for the 2020 games I already have! But most of them EA games and I have usually wait till a EA game has achievements till I start playing them and they don't yet.

I actually like this. It makes dying less frustrating, because you don't have to play the same content over and over again.

I can't believe how stupid the last phase can get. I'll admit I resorted to save scumming though, because I didn't want to lose that run.

Man, I hate this transition to 100 different TV services and half of them being shit in Sweden. I rather pirate some of the shows if good than have to pay 10€.
I got apple tv for free because I upgraded my iphone and its such a bad service.
I had to google Mythic Quest because at the time Apple TV+ didnt list it on their show list, then when I got it in required me to enter a credit card to verify I was 18+. The episode selection is also a pain in the ass to use and the whole thing feels really clunky.
Mythic Quest itself was fine though but almost every time they transistioned to a new scene they randomly put in scenes from Ubisoft games like Assassin’s Creed or For Honor. They never fit whats going on and Ubisoft has absolutely nothing to do with the characters, location or plot.
Episode 5 was amazing though. It focuses on a completely different group of characters and follows them through a 20 year timeframe where they found a studio and have their first game blow up as the creators struggle to maintain creative control of its IP. Came out of nowhere and was really well done. Its a very different shift from the main series tone though as it heavily relies on Drama rather than Comedy. But Episode 6 goes right back to the regular cast.
It would also be cool, buy not necessarily if Valve also added player count to the view count. So you know how many people are watching the stream and how many people are playing the game. Of the game by chance had multiplayer elements or something that would be useful information.And players.

I have been suspicious of just how high the number of views for some of these games is.
I'm still under the impression that some devs just get bots to tune in and get on that section of Steam.
I think you just need 200 views on average to get on that part of Steam.
It's a nice marketing tool though
I've played a bit of Underhero, part of the current Choice, because I've heard it's a hidden gem and yes, it's very charming and good so far.
I like the combat. It's timing and stamina based. You can attack whenever you want but it costs stamina, and without stamina you can't dodge. There is also a little bonus damage if you attack with the beat of the music. You dodge by either jumping or ducking before an enemy attacks (depending on their attack) and successfully dodging regenerates extra stamina.
Outside of combat it's a 2D platformer where you can explore and find and coins and treasure chests and probably secrets. Also has side quests and stuff.
It's neat.

I just learned that RCT3P is no longer on Steam. It was one of my favorite PC games as a kid. I do have it digitally on Origin (I didn't really know much about Steam at the time and just got it on Origin in 2014 since it was on sale at the time, I use to have the physical edition of the game)

Its worth it. There is a lot of cutscenes and all of them are pretty good quality despite the story being a mess. It was ambitious as hell so enjoy it when done downloading.
Also don't forget to watch the anime episodes and kingsglaive movie prior to playing. Both are prequels to that mess of a story. The anime stuff is on youtube irrc the other one you might have to rent or find some streaming service that has it.

I am almost done with DQB2, I think I am about 90% done with the story mode of the game.
I got the game on release for PC, I didn't really start to play the game until the beginning of January. So it has taken me over 1 month to finish the game.
Steam had me at 137 hours so far and after taking AKF time, I at least have 130 hours or so in the game.
I should be done with the game by the time that DXM releases on Steam, I think I will also get the Azur Lane game since it does have a 20% discount, you get the Deluxe stuff if you pre-order the game and it seem that the only way to get Neptunia in the game is to buy the game during it's first month of release.
Also how much different was the Japanese version of GTA SA compared to the western version?

Calling the ten years long project a failure is indecent. Failed games have reason to be bad at least. They're not purposefully made to be as shitty as they are.
Very "funny" to see how everything fell apart because of Square Enix's leadership, and how it's still the same people in charge while Tabata was the scapegoat, and Nomura went on to shit up Kingdom Hearts 3.
I am so fucking afraid for Final Fantasy VII... but hey, at least there's one good aspect of the episodic format! They can(t stretch a 12h game over a hundred! ... or can they? Because if it's the same 1998 MMO-like level of game design, it's going to suck.

I just launched a Firefox plug in to detect duplicate bookmarks. I have never used it and have leftover bookmarks from ADSL early days.

Finished Nioh. Didn't do DLC content yet, I'm good with the main stuff for now.
I found it pretty amusing how the reverse difficulty curve really kicked in for the last region in particular. Pretty much defeated all the bosses and previous-bosses-that-are-now-just-sub-bosses on the first try. Blinding Shell + Sloth + 3 extra lifes is such a hilariously broken combo.

Well, they are called bookmarks. If you can't fill a book with them, you're doing it wrong.

I have no earthly idea how I could have ended up with so many duplicate bookmarks and folders. I mean, toying with my browser file structure is not a habit of mine.
Edit - I mean I could hypothesize that this included backup every 'x' year, and some badly thought out re-importation (thinking the process would overwrite the files). But even then...

You can see that you have an "important" folder for last year, which you proceeded to archive in the "old" folder. :cpc_lol:
And you actually kept both folders. Things can grow fast if you are into infinite recursion, etc. You need to delete some stuff at some point. :cpc_kappa:

I'm just playing it without looking into stuff. It's a lot more breezy that way, and it's a healthy exercise in keeping my maximalist tendencies in check. I was watching GBE's playthrough last night, and Alex just kept telling Vinny what to do next. That didn't seem particularly fun. The Nancy Drew and Contradition series, where they were actualy trying to figure stuff out organically (even if it meant getting stuck), were much more interesting to watch. In the same way, I think doing a guide-less playthrough is more interesting than following a checklist. Afterwards, learning of the different things that might've happened is fun in its own right. That's why I'll be going through the WOFF podcast on it. Rather than doing another run, I'll vicariously play through the game again from their perspective, and they'll definitely also cover all the stuff they didn't encounter themselves.

And no, I can be peculiar, not logical, or what have you, but I sure as fuck never bookmarked 30 times the same exact webpage.
Let's take for example the "giraffe kissing its newborn" page. Yeah, I maybe over-bookmark. But 30x "giraffe kissing its newborn" is super weird fetish territory.
