Wondering if persona 5 royale will be full price or discounted
Discounted. It won't be Persona 4 Golden cheap, but the game is over a year old. I expect it to be 70-80% of Sega's full price for a new game. If they're going to sell it for full price there may be some new content or a bundle (like with the dancing game).

oh nice , demo was pretty cool

Love it, though I think I still prefer Papa Nier overall setting-wise.

Same, but I'm just happy that we're getting this remaster. Maybe if it does well Papa Nier is released as dlc.

And yeah, if P5R is released on PC this year it'll be at least $40.

Nintendo, Activision/Blizard, Ubisoft. Only three remains outside Steam. (well, there's probably some smaller companies tbh)

When I think about Nintendo I always laugh about how stupid they are for not selling high quality emulated versions of their older games on PC. They're just leaving so much money on the table given how easy emulation and piracy of their old games are on the PC.

Yep it really makes no sense. I've never understood the whole "pretend emulation doesn't exist" strategy. Or in the case of Nintendo, PC doesn't exist at all because it's still 1985. If they surprise dropped Super Mario All-Stars on Steam, it would sell a million easily. Anthology packages of old games that everybody emulates anyway would be a great way to make up for all that lost time. Cave should do a huge collection and get it over with. SNK should put Metal Slug Anthology on steam. Capcom did it with their old Street Fighter games and Mega Man where that was earning them zero before. Hell, even Konami had it figured out.

Nier was the first time I really became aware of Laura Bailey's incredible acting. There are a couple of moments in that game that still send shivers down my spine whenever I think about them because of how visceral her performance was.

I think part of the reason why people aren't in a hurry to yell at Nintendo to release games on PC is because emulating Nintendo games are getting easier and easier for every year.

Which also means that Nintendo is losing money because people emulate their games on PC instead of paying for them.

Still though, Nintendo first party games holds great value and they sell truckload of copies, so I don't know.

Sony on the other hand puts their games on sale fairly quickly, took 3 months for Ghost to go on the first sale (not sure about TLOU 2, but think it was around the same). And they drop in price quickly to.

In 1 year I guess you can find Ghost and TLOU 2 on regular price for 20-30$/euros. Nintendo pricing stay the same with miniscule 10-30% sales 3 years after release, even games not created by Nintendo themself like Marvel ultimate alliance, Pokemon etc.

BotW was amazing on PC through Cemu. Granted i am one of the few hundred people who actually have a WiiU but having played it through on that and then PC its no question how much better Ninty games would be on PC.

If you think Nintendo's BotW PC port would reach anywhere near the Cemu version, I have a bridge to sell to you.
720p lock, no kb+m support, heck no D/XInput, would require a €200 adapter for Ninty pads to play, always online DRM through a rootkit, €99.99, never discounted.

what lol no way

I think so. Or at least within 1 month.

Bloodborne is the most wanted PS exclusive among PC players. Even Playstation folks want the game on PC (Im one of them, Ive wanted it on PC since it's release many years ago, I played it to death on PS4, getting all endings and Im more than ready to do it all over again on PC).

Steam is bigger than ever and PC is probably the biggest audience for Soulsgames.

yeah but we're also talking about a 6 year old game.

Will it sell well? Abso-damn-lutely.
Will it outsell PS4 sales? Imo, unlikely but I wouldn't bet against it not doing so on the long term.
Outselling PS4 lifetime sales in 2 weeks? Nah, I want what you're smoking.

elden ring has a trailer ready to go, be interesting if it drops in the state of play from sony or from ms next month

MS I'd imagine, they had trailers previously.

Sales for bloodborne are likely in the region of ~4m I'd estimate (no way to know, it was only last declared at 2m in 2015)
But I'd be surprised if a 6 year old game sells 4m in 2 weeks, happy to be wrong but I'd be shocked

Bloodlines 2 getting delayed could only mean they want to take it to ps3 levels instead of ps2.
I remember watching one trailer and thinking 'This must be a true vampire game, that's why my eyes are bleeding'

Been playing Cities Skylines today.

So many building options. Its a true successor to Sim City. Such a shame that franchise died.
Last dlc was released in March last year, and the one before it was released almost a year before. The next dlc might come this March. Or have the devs dropped the game entirely and started with something new?

Coming 2022

I was watchinga JSR video the other day that mentioned this team at the end. Yeah, they got Hideki Naganuma to do the soundtrack. Hopefully this one turns out well. There was another spiritual successor to JSR that played well but had none of the polish etc. Was it called Hover? I think it was a Raycevick documentary i watched...

Here we go:

30$ Bloodborne complete will definitely sell a couple million in first month. The game did alright on PS4 considering install base and difficulty but yea its gonna be hard to compare with PC sales since they gave it away with PS+. Longterm all the FROM games settle in at 2-4 million on Steam. Dark Souls 3 will be hard to beat so I say Bloodborne won't sell more.

Also I wonder if Medievil will be another title Sony puts on PC. It didn't review well like Days gone and likely didn't sell well. It was another one of those titles I skipped on PS4. My memories of playing the OG game is mostly it being basic but fun adventure/action game. A cheap copy on PC would be nice :sneaky:

I tried some songs on Master difficulty in Muse Dash today.
What
the actual hell :sweaty-blob: :sweaty-blob: :sweaty-blob: :sweaty-blob: :sweaty-blob: :sweaty-blob: :sweaty-blob: :sweaty-blob:
