I think the initial price on Steam was a bit lower too.
The entire rollout is a disaster starting with the fact that the game was overpriced in some regions to begin with.

Nah, some folks already told you, while you have access to everything on steam as a dev (prices included) on EGS all that works manually so prices have to be changed manually by the team itself, so yeah, weekend and 4th of July? no one at that building xd

Man, the combat of Watch Dogs is underappreciated. I love toying with the enemies by controlling doors, forklifts and all sorts of stuff just to make them scared as shit. Then, when they spread out for searching, I just sneak around and pop their heads one-by-one with the silence pistol. If I see two enemies in a group, I usually intentionally kill the guy on the back but left the guy at the front alive just to hear their "wa!" when they turn around and suddenly find a deadbody on their back. Sometimes I also leave explosives on deadbody to blow up enemies who come close and check up.

I lost 500 to 1k points. I remember sitting at over 9000 points, and I am not at 8.5k points. No refund to explain this.

By the way, Horizon still holding number 1 global top seller in terms of revenue in the middle of a SUMMER sale is fucking nuts, today the weekly top 10 seller list will get updated, if it debuts at number 5 or higher, expect crazy numbers like Persona 4 Golden did, in just 48 hours.

Microsoft has realised that PC gamers were either ignoring their games, or buying their hardware and only turning it on once in a blue moon (and not subsidising the hardware cost via third party games and subscriptions) is leaving money on the table.
And I really hope the fanboys don't think the sky is falling forever as a result of this. Sony wouldn't be doing it if they felt it would hurt them, but obviously that doesn't take into consideration the emotions they've invested into their little (or not so little these days) plastic boxes.

Played through Depanneur Nocturne yesterday. It's a very short game about shopping for your loved one but it still managed to blow away my expectations. It's set in Montreal and the way it handles being both in French and English at the same time is done in a way I don't think I've seen before in a video game. As usual with walking sims you get to explore a bit within the confines of the shop and there's a bunch of dialogue with the clerk so it's nothing really out of the ordinary for the genre but it's very well executed and gives back for what you put into it for sure. If you like walking sims and have half an hour give it a try, getting all the achievements will probably double the playtime.
Yep. Some people really think that it's fair to pay one tenth (or more) of your monthly salary for a video game. And if you can't afford it, well, find another hobby.

It really is crazy to me that at such a high price, even with the threefold hike this is still top seller. I'm a bit unhappy at it but overall I'm hoping that it will show the industry that exclusivity of any kind is utter bullshit.
I used to say SoftwareGeeks was great but they've been bought out, rebranded as Unitysoft or some crap and put their prices up a bit. They are OEM keys but i've never had a problem with them. Don't know what UnitySoft are like now, haven't used them.

I don't see how people can be so rabidly loyal to a corporation? It's not like Sony are going to say "Well done defending us, have a job!". I agree. At the end of the day the reality is that it's a place filled to the brim with people who want nothing more than play good games.

It's definitely a rough diamond. I love it and i have it both physical and digital on a couple of the platforms and i backed the board game on Kickstarter.
It's a great bonkers story with great characters and a ton of odd design decisions with a healthy serving of "almost broken".
Swery is like Yoko Taro in that their games have great, mad stories, personality and atmosphere but the gameplay is borderline broken as fuck in places.

Yeah it only means Sony is likely making a fuckton of money off a overpriced 3 year old port that hasn't even released yet, no biggie, I'm sure they won't try it again.
