Isn't Deadly Premonition 2 published by Rising Star? IIRC Marvelous sold their shares in them like a decade ago.
yes, that's why NMH3 as marvelous game will come and DP2 as Rising will probably too.
speaking of things that might happen ... curious if we wil get both the recently announced EDFs .... 6 and the voxel one
You can bet they will come eventually.

Top seller weekly updated and the results are quite interesting and what I expected, which is good.

SoT is king this week.
Titanfall still strong
HZD debuted 7th which is the same spot P4G got in the same conditions, within less than 48 hours to get in which is impressive.

Good results in general :cat-heart-blob:

Man, the combat of Watch Dogs is underappreciated. I love toying with the enemies by controlling doors, forklifts and all sorts of stuff just to make them scared as shit. Then, when they spread out for searching, I just sneak around and pop their heads one-by-one with the silence pistol. If I see two enemies in a group, I usually intentionally kill the guy on the back but left the guy at the front alive just to hear their "wa!" when they turn around and suddenly find a deadbody on their back. Sometimes I also leave explosives on deadbody to blow up enemies who come close and check up.

Aiden Pearce, what a psychopath.
Yep, the game as a whole is very underrated. I loved messing about with the gadgets and trying to solve every situation differently with them. I'm not even into multiplayer games too but I had tons of fun using those gadgets in the online modes too!

Pretty wild, considering that most have been exclusives to various places.

Seems like I'll need a new job in the near future. Nothing official yet and I'm 85% sure that it won't happen in July, but I'm a bit tired of all the empty interviews and "we'll call you back" talks. Damn, I was hoping to get VTMB 2 and Cyberpunk 2077 later, but it's a bit foggy now.

Less copies than P4G then because it's revenue based and P4G is cheaper.

I thought that was not the reason of the price increase. More like self price mistake in the first place.

So, when Steam open[ed] up preorders on HZD, the price of the game in Argentina was 539 pesos (about 7 dollars). Overnight, that price went up 2100 pesos. This is because of the amount of people buying the game using a VPN to get [the] game cheap.
“In the end, I just wanted to vent a little and bring awareness that if you’re in a first world country and abuse regional pricing to get games cheap you’re actively hunting people that most likely have a lot less income than you,” the post concludes.
I totally agree with last paragrah. It's a very unpleasant way to screw other people. Sometimes I wonder how much solidarity is left in this world.

I'm pretty sure this doesn't have much to do with VPNs. It's not as easy to do nowdays. And even if it was easy, the number of people abusing the system is probably insignificant compared to actusl people from those regions. It's just corporations being corporations. And as usual, media and fanboys are eager to defend them.

I know how the top seller list works haha

It's just that it's funny how it shares the same position :p

Currently installed "one and done" games are Persona 4 Golden and Thronebreaker and Metro Exodus for the DLCs. Exodus DLCs should take short time to play through, but I don't wanna install any more "one and done" games until Im done with P4G and Thronebreaker and both are long so those will take weeks upon weeks to finish.

And when a game is really long, I tend to go back to none-"one and done" games so that's not good.

Im terrible at finishing games that take longer than 30+ hours to play through. It's why the majority of games I have finished so far this year has been 1-5 hour games, because if they are long everything just "crashes" down. I knew this moment was gonna come though.

Classic excuse. Also VPNs are usually not enough when your bank is tied to a nationality.

Edit : though I don't want to dismiss what you said. If people can and did indeed abuse this, then yeah they are poisoning the well for others.

It's a double edge sword. Just because you are physically located in a region that is considered rich, doesn't mean that you are.
True. And After reading more posts on Era about the issue it seems that indeed it had nothing to do with VPNs as I first thought.

Also, regarding the double edge sword. Indeed it is, but is it really necessary to screw others in the process if you cannot allow a game for yourself? This is more the relevant thing I was trying to mean.

I understand the desire to get games for as cheap as possible. Companies should not be the only ones allowed to reap the benefits of global capitalism.
That said I would never use a VPN for that purpose, 49€ is a sum for me as well but it's one I'm ready to pay to hopefully convince Sony to bring more of their titles across.

Ya I don't buy the whole VPN talk. Hell I was scared to just use a VPN to buy a game that is region locked in NA. Those people that say did do it will possibly get banned?

And also assholes claiming they could region switch, etc. In reality, only a few people do it, since it's hard (and can get your account limited), but publishers don't care about it and as soon as they see claims of it happening, they fuck us.

Rogue Legacy 2 is one I’m keeping on the horizon. I don’t know if I’ll get it right away, but I put in a lot of time with the first one, so maybe I should. :longswordblob2:

I remember watching the reveal for this! My kid would flip out if he sees this. He's obsessed with Lego. How good/deep is it?
FH4 in general or the Lego World?

FH4 in general is fun and I'd describe it as mind candy. Easy to play, good vibes, gorgeous to look at and entertaining.
For Lego World, I just arrived there. But you can do races and challenges which will unlock lego blocks that can be used to build your own house.

Have you played FH3 btw?
Yeah, the Micromachine DLC was the best thing in the game.

The Lego stuff actually. I've always heard great things about the Forza games but I've never played any one of them since I used to greatly dislike racing games. I think I might give it a shot sometime with my kid for the Lego World expansion. He'd probably be delighted to play it 😀

Skip around this, first it shows just some flying, then he does a mission with air and ground targets, then a night mission, a nice well rounded view of the game.

I wanna learn to fly that good, he makes it look so dang effortless, lol. It's still fun to try it all though...

That said, these same companies could also learn from the success of repacks. According to FitGirl, publishers could take a lesson or two on effective compression, so customers don’t have to waste bandwidth.

“Hire just one person, who understands the compression,” is her message to publishers. “And make your games so they could be easily updated with additional patch-files, without full data rebuilding.”

“For example, Unreal Engine supports patching natively. But 99% of developers don’t use it. They just rebuild the whole game all over again and then users in Steam download another 50 GB update. Really, you even have the tools to do it for you, love your users, they PAY for your games!”

Most entertaining E3 Press Conference ever. Legendary.

Edit: I can't find it at the moment but for about 3 years afterwards my phone wallpaper was an image of Naoki Maeda and Thomas playing DDR or similar on the E3 Show floor. Dude's energy and sense of fun just cheered me up everytime i saw it.
