If I accidentally reported someone I am sorry. Left my phone open and one of my cats stepped on it. It was still on the report post screen, so I think they did not submit anything :surrenderblob:

Never leave a phone or computer unlocked around a cat

In the end, Humble still went through with the change to sliders :weary-face:

What is frustrating, is I have to imagine most folks are not changing the sliders around. If Humble just changed the default it is set to and still have the option to change it, most folks would likely leave it be.

Shilling this thread once more.

If you watch gaming YouTube beyond news and lets plays, do check.
People already contributed lotta cool stuff!

Were the bundles not making the company money at this point?

Unsure whether this service is legitimate. It looks similar to Geforce Now, yet they claim that they support every Steam game.

I learnt its existence after somebody mentioned it on the Discord server of Geforce Now.

It seems true.

No card is required to start your Free Trial. At the end of your Free Trial period, if you want to continue using the platform, you must subscribe to one of the subscription plans available, in this case the Base Plan of 8.99€/month, the payment of which will automatically renew every month, or the Premium Plan of 10.99€, with both a monthly and annual payment option. There is no permanence period and you can cancel your subscription at any time in the corresponding Account section inside the Nware application. The current subscription plans available have temporary prices and pricing may change in the future. At the moment all prices are in Euro currency (€) and include VAT. Consult our General Terms and Conditions, available in Spanish and English, for more information.

I heard about it a few months ago when a bunch of spanish sites started posting a press release/sponsored content.

But I'm still not sure how they're allowed to put every game (when even Nvidia can't).

I suspect not enough. Years ago there used to be many bundle sites operating, hence the market was oversaturated of them and as of today only a few remain such as IndieGala, Fanatical and Humble.

I assume Gamepass has eaten a big portion of that market. Compare in price and quality subbing to GamePass for a month to Humble CHoice and you can imagine why it might be going dowhill the road.

Then again this is all my assumption but we are living on an age between "free games on Epic" regularly and very cheap prices for GamePass with a substancial huge catalog and a somewhat decent Humble Choice line up which is not up for everybody's taste, makes the perfect combo to reduce Humble's income.

It's similar to game studios acquisitions, there's not room for everybody in this Apple cake unfortunately. Only the strongest will survive.

And last but not least, there's the cloud market saying "hello, we are here to stay and eat a piece of the cake as well".

Time to bully them again....

A bit late but thanks for the thread lashman

Didn't want to buy anything more in the sale but then I caved in and bought Sea of Thieves. I know that they didn't do as deep a discount because of the PotC event but in the end I said fuck it

Oh yeah, thanks for the thread.
More Somnium Files sounds great to me. Gimme gimme.

the money Microsoft and Epic have been throwing at devs has probably made it a lot harder in general for Humble to secure high-profile games for its bundles, and while Humble Choice doesn't use sliders, I suspect that Game Pass PC has seriously eaten into the addressable market for subscription gaming services on PC. so probably not.

For its Dead Space game, Motive is taking notes from Capcom’s recent Resident Evil remakes. Like Resident Evil 2 Remake, expect the next Dead Space to use the original game as a strong foundation. But it should also have modern visuals. And it will likely bring in new gameplay mechanics inspired by other entries in the franchise.

I still firmly believe all Ads in all forms should be banned. They are a blight on human attention and they destroy the internet and even real life. Just imagine how pretty cities would be without all the ads!

Outdoor ads are prohibited where I live and store signboards must follow certain standard

cats are assholes

Dont you mean to say that cats like to show their assholes? :toucan:

That's a very surprising/concerning move from NISA.
"Thanks for reading, dood!"

...ok
Well, NISA had a good run on PC lol.

Seriously, why raise the price of Ys VIII back up to 60$ after dropping it? I really can't fathom the logic here. Do they have a new policy against permanent price drops or something?
That's one neat way of killing an entire revenue source.
