I think it's a combination of many factors. Frame pacing is obviously very important, but also the type of controls, what type of motion is present, how much input lag there is, etc.Durante if it's not too much trouble I want to ask something that I brought up over at the discord in regards to 30 FPS;
I played Crash Team Racing NF recently and before that the original PAL game, and their frame rates were smooth. Thing is some games I played such as Hyper Light Drifter looked annoying in 30 FPS, as if dragging one's feet through mud when it came to the presentation.
So how is it that 30 FPS games are able to output such a smooth visual? Is it a combination of frame pacing and triple buffering? If so, or not, could you provide your input on this please?
Fuck yes more anime for this anime thread
I had to replace my mouse a month ago because of this. Was so frustratingMy mouse just started double-clicking non-stop. Here's hoping that Logitech RMA hasn't changed a bit since last time I used it.
Delicious! Remake when Konami? I'll even settle for a port thanks.
That's what I wrote in the post you quoted
I made a ton of progress in P4G when I played it years ago without actually finishing it and my play time was definitely way over 40 hours. Actually I just dusted off my Vita and fired it up just to check, and it specifically took me 61 hrs 8 m to get to 11/22, which is right afterMy first play through of P3FES took me 42 hours and P4G took me 36 (according to the save screen). The dungeons are incredibly easy to shotgun. I didn't skip dialogue and I had multiple social links maxed out. I played both on Normal. Persona 5 took me 102 hours.
I even went and checked and there are a ton of people saying they finished P4G in 35-40 hours.
Interesting thanks. I guess my eyes just managed to adjust if the performance of a game isn't too restraint by FPS.I think it's a combination of many factors. Frame pacing is obviously very important, but also the type of controls, what type of motion is present, how much input lag there is, etc.
I.e. even with perfect framepacing a FPS played with a mouse will always feel off at 30 FPS, but a third person game controlled with a gamepad and with good motion blur might not be nearly as bad.
Also, there absolutely is an aspect of getting used to some type of presentation. If I play a game that runs at a locked 100 FPS/Hz for a while and then switch to something at 30 it will seem horrible, but if I spent a few hours playing it it might not be as bad anymore.
... and yet - Jenks still not on saleI just noticed there's a daily deal on FMV collections.
Jenks should be bought full price always and forever.... and yet - Jenks still not on sale
I have another theory as well that it can depend on the direction of movement on screen. I remember really struggling with playing HLD which by its nature have a lot of camera movement side to side which makes me feel unwell. In CTR movement is mostly toward the camera which doesn't strain the eyes so much. The camera in HLD moves around a lot and I'm pretty sure the game wouldn't feel so bad in 30 fps if the camera was stationary instead.Interesting thanks. I guess my eyes just managed to adjust if the performance of a game isn't too restraint by FPS.
Yeah, it's weird. Glad I got it in that early bundle it was in. Buying pretty much every bundle pays off occasionally.... and yet - Jenks still not on sale
Heh you remind me of my cousin trying to play Akrham Knight on his potato laptop. It has like 4 GB RAM and the poor thing shuts down.My computer just shut itself down while playing Just Cause 3... I immediately restarted it, reached the desktop before it shut itself down again.
Makes me think Just Cause 3 caused my computer to overheat. Hard to explain why it shut itself down again after rebooting otherwise.
Maybe it has something to do with Just Cause 3 complaining that I have too little system memory.... 8 GB is really not enough anymore!
Could've sworn it was on sale on Humblebundle.com at least a few years ago. Still grab it off humble to make back some store credit.
you do have a point ...
Yeah that may be it, the camera doesn't rotate in CTR and just follows you where you drive always behind you.I have another theory as well that it can depend on the direction of movement on screen. This often happens to me when watching movies and there are a lot of panning shots moving across the screen, while it's fine most of the time. I remember the introduction shots for the 2014 Godzilla movie being really hard for me.

In Fate/Zero Gilgamesh is often seen playing with a chessboard at the Church while drinking Kotomine's wine. The chessboard has pieces representing each Class of servant, and some pawns. I feel like with the addition of Ruler, Avenger, and Foreigner you could actually have an interesting game of chess with Fate pieces.Fate autochess please!
Any female characters that can do izuna drops always arouse me :3
I find that people who complain about steam sales to be people who don't play on PC anyways :VTwo days until people complain and I spend money.

Hey, in my defense, the minimum requirements for RAM is 8GB, I have no idea why the game claims I do not meet the requirements. Saw on the net domeone saying it takes about 12GB to run Just Cause 3. Well then, why is that not the minimum requirements?Heh you remind me of my cousin trying to play Akrham Knight on his potato laptop. It has like 4 GB RAM and the poor thing shuts down.
well, maybe 8 gigs is enough for minimum ie 800x600 & ultra low textures?Hey, in my defense, the minimum requirements for RAM is 8GB, I have no idea why the game claims I do not meet the requirements. I reject your reality and substitute my own!well, maybe 8 gigs is enough for minimum ie 800x600 & ultra low textures?
(neveer played jc3)
Have you by any chance turned off your swap file? It's generally a horrendously bad idea but will also lead to games/programs crashing that need more, even if only for a short while.Hey, in my defense, the minimum requirements for RAM is 8GB, I have no idea why the game claims I do not meet the requirements. What the hell am I looking at?
Not to my knowledge, unless that's something that happens automatically when installing an SSD (since I read swap files are really bad for SSDs...)

No, doesn't happen automatically and no they aren't because Windows nowadays scales them down as much as possible and rarely uses them. But when they are needed and aren't there .... boom. Having said that your problem could just be JC3/4's shoddy programming. Still, 16GB have become a must-have for gaming PCs and prices are dropping and dropping with new lows expected throughout the rest of the year, this fall should be a great time to upgrade. Not to my knowledge, unless that's something that happens automatically when installing an SSD (since I read swap files are really bad for SSDs...)

At 00:01 into the video, I was already shaking my head.
We've put up a still image for the website for now, just so we don't keep on getting "website down" posts. Right now we don't feel that our website is priority so it keeps on getting shifted to the side, it would have been better to have a site manager / developer to keep the site intact, but hey mistakes were made lol.
Secondly you are quite right, we showed the game way to early, the amount of times the game has gone through drastic changes is roughly about 5 (maybe more) times now during the development, that applies to art / design / maps etc.
We don't feel that there really is any point showing gifs / screenshots of the game at the moment, that was also an early mistake, and one we do not want to make again. Info on the game will be coming, you have to understand that we're pretty particular about what we post on our twitter, if it doesn't reach a certain standard, it doesn't get shown lol.
Either way I understand all your frustration, silence is always painful, however when we do have things to show we definitely won't hesitate to start rolling things out again!
Wait, developers are communicating through the Steam forums?seems like Eitr is still alive despite website being down

People have been complaining for about a week already. Summer comes early this yearTwo days until people complain and I spend money.
I really don't want that to end up being the case but I suspect you'll probably be right.Yea it's one of those games that will release after years of delays and then will not be anything like it was when it was first revealed.
Did they knew that they were going to be filmed?
Only watched a YTber playing a lot, looks very solid, might get it during the sale (despite no discount). How many people have played around with Littlewood's early access? I just got the game in my Steam queue and it looks cute as shit.
My Logitech had the same problem, it was fixed in Windows 10 1903.My mouse just started double-clicking non-stop. Here's hoping that Logitech RMA hasn't changed a bit since last time I used it.
After they grant your wish for Digimon, I wish they would grant mine for the Girls und Panzer game on PC.Speaking about summer, iirc they said Digimon Survive news were coming in Summer.
Give me that release date now Namco!
1. When buying sticks separately you can never be 100% sure that they're the same but I assume we're not talking about fast low latency RAM so eh, give it a try.So, potentially, what is a better course of action:
1. Buying another old-as-dirt RAM to have 2 exact same 8GB sticks
2. Trying to find a 2x8 16GB pair, that is most certainly not on the QVL either...
I'm not quite ready yet to scrap this computer, even though I know that I need to do so eventually, since the mobo is ancient by today's standards.
